  1. Thanks! I had a lot of fun designing it, so I'm glad you like it. I look forward to what you come up with!
  2. Hah! I'm not as hard on 42203 as others, and yet, it needed some improvements. Also, I'm always looking for an excuse to make a Garbage Truck.
  3. Voted. Thanks again for hosting another contest!
  4. Alright, it's time for another update to 42203 with a little Garbage Truck version. As was pointed out by someone on Rebrickable, I may have moved passed this being a modification, and it's just a new MOC. But either way, the MOC is heavily influenced by 42203, so I'll let it slide. Instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. I started with the Upgraded Chassis (see above) for this MOC, and then added a Garbage Collection Box to the rear of the truck. As such, the truck features: Steering with HOG Opening doors Tipping cab I4 engine with RWD Tipping rear garbage box. Opening rear compactor Working rear compactor cycle Bin tipper/dumping And a little video to show the functions. Enjoy!
  5. Great job again. I'm a big fan of LMP cars, and this Oreca looks fantastic. I like the openings you were able to recreate on the front fenders. Also the sidepod shaping - so difficult to get just right - is perfect.
  6. Great job again. Its fun to see this classic truck recreated in LEGO. Thanks for sharing. I love how you built the front steps.
  7. A worthy companion to the other two cars. The green and the lime are perfect for this car. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Possibly. The issue I run into was that limits the tilt of the bed. I’ll give it another try. Thanks.
  9. Alright, @Auroralampinen can't be the only person to improve on 42203. Here is my version with an engine and a tipping cab. Instructions at Rebrickable.com. And it looks just like the set. Which to me, is not a bad thing at all. And a little video to show to functions.
  10. I always felt funny about this as well, but I could never describe why I didn't like it. Thanks for giving me the words for what I could never articulate.
  11. Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy you like the wood bed sides too.
  12. This turned out great. Truly a fantastic MOC. Well done.
  13. Thanks again. I didn't even think to include picture of the real thing. Here you go. And mine... Thanks again. Yeah, I should make a list of what's left. People have asked for 401 and 1700, but we'll see if I'll get to those. I'm about to the limit of making these any smaller before they start getting boring. Thanks again, and I'm glad you like it. I worked on the hood for a while, so it's great that you like the polish.
  14. Hello again friends, I'm back with another 1:21 scale Unimog to expand the collection of the other trucks. Pretty soon, I'll have all the trucks made! Instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. This truck, features the following: Steering with HOG Rear wheel drive with portal axle Rear suspension I4 engine Tipping bed Opening doors I thought the wooden sides for the bed was a nice change. The bed tips, but only to the rear. The newer tea cup saucers work perfectly for the headlights. The doors open, and here you can barely see the engine between the two seats. And a little video to see it all working. Alright, off to the next build...
  15. Great little MOC. Good color choice, and I love the look of the tracks.
  16. Thanks again. I agree, I was able to get the functions I wanted but not the look. Combines are weird shaped vehicles, so like others, this one didn't really connect with my eyes. On this one, it's something with the cab and the back side.
  17. As a little partner for the Blizzard Blazer that I shared, I'm happy to share this little mini combine. The combine features: Steering Header mount up/down Working thresher Chaff spreader Removable header Opening hopper Free instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. Enjoy! Every time I post a video, I'm self conscious about my production, but I guess you can see what happens in the MOC.
  18. Again, great job. My kind of build too, smaller, with lots of manual features. Any place to add a winch?
  19. Thanks all for your work here. Brickshelf was what got me back into LEGO all the way back in 2004. I have been slowly backing up all my files, as many have been stored on many computers over the years. It will take me a long time to fix all the broken links. While Flickr works, I'm more concerned with the long term stability of that site than I was about Brickshelf. I wonder if Bricksafe is slowly going this way well, as Rebrickable now hosts MOC photos, rather than link them to Bricksafe. I'll follow this conversation with interest to see what options become available. For now, I'll leave my folders available, but I'm backing everything up.
  20. This is great. I love the use are parts and the asymmetry. The colors work really well for this build.
  21. Thanks! It would be great to see you build it. It's always fun to see my MOCs built by others. I hope you enjoy the build too. Thanks for the affirmation. I hope this continues to be something I am able to prioritize in my MOCs too.
  22. Seriously. We don't want me to extend my Unimog MOCs any further than I already have. It's about time for me to go down another rabbit hole. But also, I do vote for another Unimog set, though I think there are more nostalgic ways to celebrate the 50th.
