  1. Oh, this is very cool! I was wondering what you'd do to make the last scene the same size as the others with only three days, this double sized cave is really great!
  2. Ohh, those butterflies are so beautiful! They finish off this scene so well. That's a really neat lamp too!
  3. I'm loving this stargazing theme! What a lovely book cover that is too.
  4. Loving those latest four, especially the troll, so funny! And the sky painter, what a neat idea, really great fig too.
  5. Really nice use of those new T pieces on the windows. Took me a bit to figure out what it was. Such a lovely peaceful build overall!
  6. Ah, a sad but timely end to my lonely ship. Adieu, you were never meant to sail to the balmier climes of Era III, evidently! Thanks for writing the KPA one more time @Capt Wolf, we appreciate all your work on it through the years, it's been a really fun part of this game. Here's hoping the replacement will have as good and as long of a run as the good ol' KPA!
  7. I love the way the eyes peek out of the nose hole
  8. The milestone is such a neat idea. Would love to see some of those in a larger build sometime!
  9. Those new stalk pieces make for a lovely winter tree. And of course, the owl is just adorable! A sleepwalker is a great concept too. I really like the night theme you kept throughout these six. Looking forward to the rest of the month!
  10. Ha, what fun! Such a good color for these guys. Where are those heads from?
  11. What a great way to get the logs to be snow covered!
  12. I love the way these combine into larger scenes! The gingerbread thief is really great too.
  13. What a great piece for that torch! I'll have to keep my eye out for one. Would it be hard to put an LED underneath? I'm thinking it might look fabulous lighted.
  14. There's even an inside to the mountain! That's crazy, so cool, especially the lava! I love the colorful dragons and the variety of buildings on either side. Super impressive MOC!
  15. Goal is mid-2024. We want to be completely automated at launch so there will be no more waiting for MRCA results or account summaries. In the meantime we'll have some fun challenges and stuff to wrap up the Era!
  16. The ones on the first page do still show up for me, and I'm using a new browser so I doubt they're in my cache. But would be nice to have them hosted somewhere more permanent than Discord! My brother has been using Playground AI btw for free and (although he's not really been using it for this kind of thing) I'd say results are comparable. Might be worth a try when you have time!
  17. Crowns have traditionally been (if I recall!) the symbol of Cedrica, the capital of the guilds and thus not part of any guild at all. You might be able to do something fun with that, like say your character originally lived in the capital but moved because xyz. But there are no restrictions on using various sigils across the guilds--what we have are just more like guidelines, and sigils that have not been assigned to a guild are free game for placement anywhere. I would think crownies would fit best with the look of Kaliphlin, but then, I am slightly biased.
  18. Thanks everybody for your input here, this is really all lining up with the direction leadership is hoping to take us--a more condensed map and a more exciting and fluctuating economic system. I think you'll love what we're putting together!
  19. You'll need to sign up for one of the guilds (which means creating a minifigure as your main story character and posting him in the right guild thread), and then you'll be all set to participate in this challenge! Then you can build a trading post in your guild, following your guild's special characteristics. I think (?) that you can build a trading post in any guild, not just the one you join, though the wording of the challenge is a bit ambiguous. But who would want to build a trading post in any guild except their own, anyways?
  20. Gotta love it when a review answers the important questions I'm still on the fence about this... it just feels like I'd get so much more use out of a small PaB cup, and I could grab a lemonade too with the spare change, but then... seals!
  21. The grass growing up the roof is great!
  22. Very cool wave technique! I really love the sail too. (The seals in the cave are cute too. I've been debating whether or not to get them myself...)
  23. BoBS has two aspects--a game and a story. These can fuel each other, or you can participate in either one separately. Some of your ideas sound more suitable to the story aspect. For instance, you are always welcome to post your own creations no matter how big they are so we can enjoy and comment on them. But if you would like to license them in the game, yes, you will have to start small until you build up enough "money" to afford licenses for your larger creations. BoBS is its own fictional world, so bringing in names and places from other fictional worlds is not the best fit. I encourage you to take inspiration from your favorite pirate stories but find a way to customize them and make them your own, while fitting them into the world of BoBS. As far as using LEGO sets in BoBS, if that's what you're asking about--I'm afraid that's not what this RPG is meant for. Part of the idea is to spark creative LEGO builds, something new for us to see and enjoy. We can already go to the internet and look up pictures of the Barracuda or Pearl. On the other hand, if you're taking the set as a canvas and modifying it substantially, go for it! Or if you just mean that you're taking a picture of those ships and building it from scratch, that's great too! Why do I like this idea so much?
  24. What a ship, what a beauty! The little building there really gives you a feel for how magnificent the ship is. Lovely waves on the water too.
