It is surprising that you guys hadn't posted any MOCs, you are now two awesome builders! Shame it took me so long to find out about GoH (and EB!) (I saw it first when there was some front page advertisement about Challenge 3), but didn't join for - a month or so? (About the time it took me to - leisurely - read the first post in a couple of the guilds...) (I think I had already posted a few Modular Madness entires, so I didn't have 0 MOCs under my belt...)

That's what I was thinking. But most of my point is that some of the sections have already been scored (right?) and are therefore included in the total just posted. So that means that there won't be as many new points now as if he had entered it all (though still in different topics/sections) at once. On another note, does the fact that a free-build can only get 50 points max mean that my series of story/vigs will only get 50 max, or max 50 for each vig?

Yeah, in total that gives more points I guess, but what I meant was; would he really get that many points for the city, since all the pieces have been posted and scored seperatly? You'd think that a combination of what has already been scored wouldn't win you additional points - or maybe, since you had the bricks to keep it together...

I was wondering if, even under those conditions, it would still be valid. Nice to hear about the border, I'm not sure I'll be able to but I'm thinking about giving one a go...

But since Ecc has been entering all the sections seperatly, that might shave a few points off it... still, I agree. I don't want to know where Mitgardia will be!

Instead of using my sig-fig or some Kaliphlin in my entry, can I use a Valaryian that I am planning on using as one of Ageven's followers in future builds (and my guild still get the free build points)? Also, am I alowed to make a border around a 32x32 base (like Z often does)?

Yes, I am aware that they have done it (fairly often), just a bit surprised that it would be so obvious. Usually, it takes more than two seconds to spot them - though, of course, this is a picture focusing exclusively on the minifig.

Ska, looks like you've got some good ideas there, and a stadium for the University? I never would have thought of something like that! The seven wonders of Historica... I'm sure I wouldn't be able to make anything that big (building that 52x52 was hard enough!), but it would be awesome to see some huge builds!

Yes, contraction figures were mentioned earlier, though most of us seemed to have given up "hope" (or whatever, I didn't/don't really care ) though.

Since I don't have any of those treads, I decided to see if I could come up with another way(s) to do the same basic thing: I first tried type B, but didn't have enough half pins to go around. So I restarted from ground 0 and came up with A (and built a tower). It's not nearly as wide as Z's (though, with a lot of time and bricks, that probably could be fixed), and would look strange if you made it too tall, but it worked for me. B is very loose, as the top and bottom are not actually attached (otherwise they wouldn't form the right angles).

That's about what they look like, too! I don't think so, at least not necessarially, while I don't think they'll be as useful as even the Ninjago ninjas (I've found their hat's pretty useful), dressing minifigs in costumes would be an ideal use for those masks, and I'm sure there are other ways to use them as well (eg. indians? - if it weren't for those claws ...)

Well, I don't have either of those minifig parts, but that does look like it might make a good combination. @MK, same here, as far as the Valaryio that is, done with the general base (canal, roadway) and almost done with the two houses I'm building. It will be interesting to see what everyone else comes up with, the guild seems to have a lot of potential and "life in Valaryio" is a pretty broad topic! @Ska, do you plan on finishing and posting your build as a free build? I'd love to see what you were doing!

After "skim-watching" the video, that lion mask doesn't strike me as being very cool, but underneath the mask! awesome! Those pants look nice too, what a pity they have "claws" on them - the claws don't even really add much!

Looks like that wing is a new mold - is it just me or does something look a bit strange with that torso - there's nothing on it! Nice face though...

Thanks! I was pretty much gritting my teeth about those open sides (at least I think you're reffering to the roof of the building), but there wasn't much I could do, since I didn't have any dark red (or any other color, for that matter!) curves left. As far as the history, I'm glad you like it, I'm sure that won't be the last you'll hear of the red ruby!
