  1. Hehe... two whole extra pages! Oh... I should stop posting...
  2. Looks like Mitgardia is trying to take our comment spot... let's not let that happen! My latest free-build which I realized I hadn't posted here yet: @Ska, re-reading the idea it sounds promising, I'd certainly be interested in participating. And here are links for the three Merith episodes: One (Masa), Two (Kai), Three, (Masa).
  3. Just in case you haven't realized... 60 (and now 61) of Mitgardia's comments were made by me... Edit: And FYI, only 42 of Kaliphlin's posts were made by SK (the highest non-Kaliphlin poster there, provided Capt. Mugwash is/was Kaliphlin), 47 of Nocty's posts were by Damaximus (highest non-Nocty there), and 52 of Avalonia's posts by Damaximus (highest non-Avalonian, I'm second with 48, provided Andonii is/was Avalonian). (I'm not sure what I'm trying to prove here though. That I post too much in Mitgardia? I'm actually sixth!)
  4. And Mitgardia still thinks they can beat us... Anyway, it's nice to see it like that. Looks like will still be plenty of members around!
  5. Great job! The idea of a tree-trunk home is fantastic, and the rooms are very well done! Neat interior details and your use of the Power Miner monster bodies is very creative!
  6. I'm skeptical as to those being the final names or even that close, but they do sound interesting. In particular Kai Fighter and Overborg don't sound much like finalized names... I may add that the site now says, "At the request of LEGO® group information removed." Also, though I'm not sure if Brickset actually listed the names and/or numbers earlier, but they don't have them now, nor is there anything in the post to indicate that then names are know... which has led to some "this is old news" type comments.
  7. @SK, those are some nice pieces! Quite a lot of light bley there!
  8. Forty pounds? Man, that would probably triple my collection. And take me forever to sort...
  9. That looks... crazy! Is that supposed to be the ninja? Whatever happened to their hairstyles?
  10. Thanks Kabel! I'm glad to hear you're liking my MOCs that much!
  11. Thanks to all of you that commented! Thanks. I would actually use 1x2 tiles if I had them... but unfortunately I only have about one. I hadn't heard about that before, at least this one ended well! Are you referring to the LCC version? Hey, as long as I build it, might as well get the most out of it possible! Thanks, and I was copying you to a certain extent with the snow there... Ska? Thanks! Actually it's only two builds, though the angle of the stretcher picture looks almost like a different build... I believe ISC was the first to use the technique... at least that's where I saw it first. Yes, it's quite nice. I suppose you could probably use a white pole to stop that up, but it would be a bit long (unless you broke one, that is).
  12. That's awesome Z... does that mean I've been frontpaged? I don't start at the frontpage... but I do get notifications for it. Ironically this time I was in such a hurry I didn't notice though!
  13. Part One For days Kalaphlar's young nephew wandered on, his only goal being to keep the stream beside him and the mountains ahead of him. But game was scarce, and he soon began to suffer for lack of food. But he pushed on, until, gradually, he left the sand behind him and trudged up into the rocky fastnesses of the Rakath Mountains. Yet he went still further, for in all this time he had not met with a soul - and gradually, almost inperceptable, the snow became deeper on the ground and the cold became intenser in proportion as his garments wore out. And still he trudged on, tired now, too tired to think even, only knowing that he must keep going, must keep moving, for if not, he would surely fall a victim to the icy cold. Where he was going he would have found it difficult to say even to himself, but perhaps there was method in his madness, for had he not heard his uncle speak of a "venerable old noble, far up in the mountains, who has enlisted himself in our cause"? At any rate he pushed on, until, one day, he felt he could go no farther. With a sigh of weariness, he lay down in the snow, drawing his garments around him, thinking, perhaps hoping, that he would never more arise. But it was not to be. A few hours later he woke up with the sensation of movement - he was being carried! Two men, on either side of him, and he was on a stretcher. "Who are you? Where are you taking me?" he asked faintly. "Never mind," said the elder kindly. "We are friends and are taking you to safety." The last thing the young man remembered before fainting away was a looming gate house and an imposing stone tower, confronting the bitter wind. Comments are welcome, I hope you've enjoyed this next part of the story - I've got a better idea as to where it's going now!
  14. I'm not a fan of it, but I agree with Oky that it probably just needs to be given a chance. If I were using it for non-LEGO related stuff the new layout is a bit more geared toward focusing on the pictures. As it is I liked the text without having to mouse over the picture, but I can get used to that and if I can't, adding ?details=1 to any photostream URL changes it back to the old view but retains the cover photo. What's worst is the homepage, not enough white space and too many things to look at at a time. That and the very small amount of displayed comments are probably the worst things.
  15. Nice work, those red windows and the darkness of the entire thing go really well. I'll be interested to see what the Falcons do next! I do think there's a fair amount of 16 square to 32 square out there though. It does seem like smaller than that is pretty rare though...
  16. Yes, that's also quite possible.
  17. I would agree that it would be unlikely the scarecrow would use Tonto's hairpiece, but I do think it's likely enough that it uses Tonto's crow.
  18. Great job, those boats are really nice and the rock to castle transition is superb!
  19. Great idea for throwing water on it! Nice twist to the story and good to see I'm at the forefront (as always )!
  20. Great job, the swampy look is great, as well as the rockwork! Also love the smooth transition from rock to brown up on the top... something I'm not good at!
  21. Is that why Si-MOCs has so little power in Kaliphlin?
  22. Somehow I sense I'll be pretty busy in June... or wish I was! Edit: Oh, more winks!
  23. That certainly sounds interesting Ska! I'll probably have further comments when I get a chance to read it though a bit more slowly, but I do agree that something like this would be great as we are the story-telling guild! @Mattiusxavier, Welcome to Kaliphlin!
  24. Well (besides the fact that you can hit view and see who voted how), since there's only votes in one column we can guess pretty easily... And since winks seem to be going around... watch out Historica! Oh, and I voted yes. In case you were wondering...
