  1. Admittedly. Perhaps I shouldn't point out my fellow Kaliphlins mistakes...
  2. Yes, you must remember that to understand a thing properly, you must understand it the way the writer intended... Got three builds sitting on my desk... Yeah that would be part of the problem... Worser?
  3. Oh, I see, Logic teachers, not reading teachers.
  4. Quite hilarious indeed! And here we thought we were making it as simple and obvious as could be...
  5. Yes, I used the old city of Kaligem heavily in my story. I plan to keep using it, and as far as my story goes since I didn't exactly specify what happened to Victor that can merge into other stories as well...
  6. Elves need to sharpen their reading skills... Journey Inside Kaliphlin!
  7. I'll second that, we've got quite a few Gold out there and some silver to lighten it up! (Me?) You do know you're talking to the most literary guild and the one with quite a few well traveled and well versed members right? It's the Mitgardians that are out there stuck in the snow... Yeah, but it's still a bit complicated would be my guess. As far as him getting a tag. ZC specified that guild leaders would get one.
  8. I only have 17 1x2 slopes, probably 12 or so cheese, and 6 or 7 1x3s (and 6 4x1 curved slopes/whatever, if you're including them). Admittedly I would have thought you had more...
  9. Thanks! A rabbit toothed mummy eh? You never know what SW will come up with...
  10. I meant that I had one and a half... yeah, it wasn't clear. Tusken Raiders? You lost me... Edit: And we're at 99 pages... even just talking about a leader is helping...
  11. Wow. That is... amazing! One and a half! Actually I'm not sure. At least one... @Si (both this and your last comment), your sort of do-what-you-like leadership has been very nice. And it's been cool seeing how well the guild sticks together. Plus you've done a great job in general of keeping the ball rolling (eg. Petraea University was is awesome!). Lord Regent is a good name, I'm not exactly sure how we should choose one... I do think it would be nicer to do something other/more than a normal vote, something with a Kaliphlin twist. I can't seem to think of anything now though... Anyway, I would run, though I'm not sure with what character yet (probably Ageven as he's very well traveled and doesn't seem to favor one guild over another... ). As far as allowing not Kaliphlins to vote, if we do their votes shouldn't count for as much. Though that might be hard to go about doing... say three points for each Kaliphlin vote (though they can't divide them up), and one for non-Kaliphlins. And five for Flagg...
  12. That last part sound familiar... didn't even edit the typo? This sounds like fun! Will try to enter for sure (and hopefully do better than in your last challenge...)!
  13. What a nice CMF collection! Rocks are... well, basic rule is you stack pieces and make sure no two are going the same direction as much as possible. Which of course means they're different every time... Of course LD's rocks are crazy good. He has way too many smaller rock slopes! And a gold tag! (Yeah, took me a second or two too to ( ) figure out it wasn't bronze...)
  14. Great build, amazingly solid and both the chair designs and the chandeliers look awesome!
  15. Nope, I don't have that much time! Kabel's right, if you click on the post count on the right side of the topic, it shows who's posted how much.
  16. @Legofin, here's some more info about the Drow: Power hungry dark elves that live mostly underground and in the Rakarth mountains. 3500 years ago, banned from the surfaces of other continents, the Drow started construction of their first mayor city inside the Rakath Mountains. For the next 1200 years they lived under the surface. Eventually, elves found a Drow city. That was the start of many Drow wars in the continent. After 400 years of war, the resources of the Drow starts to empty. The Drow-lord started conquering Nocturnus. Nocturnus got darker and darker as the Drow together with the Dragons adapted the region to their needs. The Drow conquer the elves, but are repulsed by Kaliphlin, who ultimately force them into hiding. Drow begin to raid into all of Historica. Drow hosted Gladiator Games and a Warrior Beauty contest. They built several cities - Lith My'athar, Lurth Dreir, Elesee-Luna, and Waterdeep. Attempted to overthrow Lord Ssilyrrlith. Finally, they were exiled, and are now rebuilding somewhere on an island of the uncharted lands, growing stronger everyday...
  17. I think so too, it's a shame there are so few Cedrican builds!
  18. Truly amazing rockscaping. You have way too many small slopes! Nice scene and the simplistic look of the crosses is great!
  19. That dragon is simply awesome! The flooring is nice as well (though it doesn't give the impression of a well-kept and comfortable fortress!). I do think the walls could use a bit more variation though. There's plenty of texture, but it seems a bit more on the ornament side might improve it?
  20. That's pretty cool. I think that may have happened to me with other (non-LEGO) products (not necessarily in Kmart), but it's pretty rare... Yes, I think you're right there. (Ignoring the ambitions 7/8ths of me,) it could be a good idea to wait until the Challenge VI vote and/or we see how the next "chapter" will be (perhaps we could have a temporary vice-leader in the meantime). Perhaps the best way to keep any leader from becoming "burnt out" would be by having a sort of rotating delegation?
  21. But those who don't learn from history, are destined to repeat it... Anyway, nice joust! Looks very Mitgardian!
  22. Actually I believe it's not necessary to use the media tag, let me see: Edit: You don't need to insert the tag, however when I hit edit the tag showed (so apparently it's added automatically).
  23. Dextrus (aka. Si) voted yes on the active/intent to be active poll. And I do know he's quite busy with Brickworld & probably with the Sci-Fi forum. I'm not sure how active he's planning on being in the future and having him as guild leader has been pretty cool. Of course you're suggesting a vice-leader, I would be honored to have the position, though after October I might not be so available for a month or so. I will do my best to stay available as much as possible regardless though! Having a collective run things is pretty cool, probably the major handicap with that is that there's no specific person to run, say, title challenges (not that that seems to really help, in fact I wonder why having an active guild leader helps?). Also, I would point out that I am hardly an insider! (Which does seem like it might be part of our problem, we don't have any (active) insiders other than Si. And I'm sure that there are others who could do the job well, we could have a vice-leader election similar to Mitgardias, if desired. @DM, you're welcome to use my sig-fig! In fact I've changed a little (took off the "wig" and gave myself this hair in black, besides a slight clothes upgrade) so if that's easier for you go ahead and switch it!
  24. Well, you've got another one now... seems like @Balthasar has just voted!
  25. Hehe... two whole extra pages! Oh... I should stop posting...
