Mafia After Dark - Night 3: Reservoir Dogs
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It's a good idea, but it's one that I have a hard time rationalizing because we can't open PM's for our PR's to form a strategy, which basically leaves us with what we already have, but we'd then just know everybody's role and such. I think it benefits the scum just a little bit more in this case, and I'm open to voting, I'll just vote "No" for now. -

OK, so why I'm not liking Adelaide. First, she is one of the people here who I never really notice. Priscilla and Cebastien also fall into this category for me as well, but lately I've been noticing more from Cebastien, so I will leave him befor now. Second, she seems to join in on the case against me, repeating what Bernard has said, and also adding that I've been posting with a head full of hot air. I'm not sure what's making her think that, since I believe I have a pretty decent idea of what's going on, and I'm not mindlessly posting things. If she's referring to the post where I accidentally called Shane Person A, then that's warranted, but other than that, I see nothing of mine that really screams "Wow, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about". Is it possible she's trying to put more blame on me to make me appear scummier? I think it is very possible, and I'll be sureto watch out for Adelaide. We started off with 18 players. Since typically scum take up 1/4 of the players, that would leave us with an estimate of either 4 or 5 scum, and seeing how there is estimated to be a Serial Killer, I'm leaning towards 4 scum, so why don't we provide 4 or 5 suspicions, and see if we can nail the scum on the head, as well as our supposed Serial Killer? Adding to my original suspicions, I'd also add Dammit, hit post too early. Stupid mobile. I'd also add Candy and Penelope, for cases already brought up against them. I can't really add anything else, as I haven't seen anything else from them that sticks out, but my suspicions stand. I'd say Dogfoodan is our biggest lead, so it will be best to lynch him. That's my own fault. My mind was thinking ahead of me, I meant to say Shane, not Person A at the end. Of course Person A knew they were in contact with Kristina, they were in contact with each other, of course. I haven't been trying to repeat others, and I really wouldn't say I'm doing it terribly often, and if I am, I'll be better about it. It's not something I notice. As I've said, I've suddenly been more busy, and it's not something I can help. I'm going to be a bit more flexible tomorrow and I'll be able to post, hopefully. How have my posts been full of hot air? It's a general concensus that they've been waffly, but full of hot air? Elaborate. I'm getting a little irritated that people are just repeating what Bernard has said. Funny how I'm being called out for "copying" others, yet those who are accusing me are doing the same. What I'm trying to ask is whether Dogfood is still the best lynch, since it seems like most of the suspicion surrounding him was based off of Kristina's case. My suspicions are (in no order) Priscilla or whatever (PPJB): She's being awfully quiet, or at least not standing out, similarly to Prudence Jellison. Adelaide (Adam): I want to think there's one scum accusing me, and the one that sticks out to me is Adelaide. I'm in a rush so I'll elaborate later. Dogfood (Draggy): For reasons already stated. -

Sorry I haven't been very active lately, Tony and I have been getting daily nail work done... It seems my name has been raised a lot.... Mostly for posting fluff.. I don't see how I'm posting fluff. Rambling, yes, I'll admit to, but I'm trying to contribute things, and as I say them I tend to ramble on, so I guess you could call that fluff by your criteria. As for inactivity, I can't help that I'm inactive, but I'm working on speaking more. For the mostpart I haven't been talking because I didn't really feel like I had anything to say. I'll address specific accusations as soon as I can, hopefully very shortly. -

I interpreted that Person A had known prior to Kristina's message that she had contact with Person A. Kristina, may we please get some clarification? Kristina, may we please get some clarification? Dammit, didn't see that I posted it again. -

It's discussed to death why lynching Dogfoodan is an option. It was discussed heavily last night, didn't you notice? -

What?? Shane was a Malone? So is Dogukan or Dokugan or Dogfoodan still the optimal lynch then? The more I think about it I'm thinking it's possible Shane was another Communications Expert, and that's how Person A and Dogukan found out about Shane speaking to Kristina. That's the scenario that's first popping into my head, and it seems to make sense, at least to me, but it doesn't make sense that Shane and Kristina would have been able to link themselves to Person A. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Found them at TRU today, but the box was very picked through, so I only managed to get Yeti and the Scientist. But wait, there's more! I was fortunate enough to make a quick stop at Target about 30 minutes ago, and it took me quite a while to find them (I was down to about 10 packs), but I was able to grab the Diner Waitress, Pretzel Girl, Gingerbread Man, and Scarecrow. I'm very, very impressed with this series. -
Mafia After Dark - Day 3: 25th Hour

Sorry I've been so quiet, I haven't had a lot of internet access. Kristina's claim is very interesting, and it accounts for the "unless granted special exceptions" part of the rules.I'm willing to trust her claim right now, and that means Dogukan will be the essential lynch for tomorrow, especially if Shane really does show up as a Ferrari. Though it is interesting to note that Kristina has found an apparent scum and a protector in two days. That's the only thing that strikes me as weird, but it could have easily be lucky guessing. What? Person A claimed protector, and Kristina believes them to be town, so why would we lynch them? -
Mafia After Dark - Night 2: Mean Streets
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There's a zombie killer now?? Hmm, I think it's going to be interesting to see if this ends up being a vig or a serial killer, as Shane was seen as scummy by some people. Candy raises some interesting points about why she thinks it's a serial killer, and they make sense, but time will tell whether this zombie is townsided or not. Jamie, I had explained that the only point I had noticed at the time was the one Dexter had made, so I didn't want to restate it shortly after he made a case. -

Jamie, I think you're looking too far into it. I was speculating, whereas Byron was voting because he just felt something was off about Penelope. I provided reasoning, Byron had not. Of course my vote was going to be speculation, he provided little to no substance as to why he was voting for Penelope other than it being a gut feeling. I took time to think about what Byron might be doing, compared to Byron who was basically saying that he just gets a scummy vibe off of Penelope. I don't think what I did was based off of a gut feeling. Now, when it comes to the thing I found off about Penelope, I didn't bring it up because Dexter had already said it, and it wasn't even something I found odd until Dexter pointed it out, so I'm not sure why I should have pointed it out. Kristina, I understand that I haven't been as active as others, but I definitely wouldn't say I've been the least active, and I've at least been attempting to contribute when I can. I hope that's cleared up. -

We still haven't seen people speaking a lot, and I feel like we need to get our minds set, because if we keep up with our habits, scum will win by a landslide. Nobody's really posted enough for me to get a decent read, and I would normally vote for somebody that is flying under the radar, but since nobody is really posting, nobody's really flying under the radar, so I'm going to go with my suspicion from yesterday and Vote: The Great Byron (Bob) -

I don't think we'd have a cult with 18 people, but we don't know what God knows here. Now a non-killing neutral, I see more unlikely, as I haven't heard of those at all, unless it's a cult. I want to think we have an SK, as well. What we need to deduce is what affiliation this killer is. It's perfectly natural to be thought as a scum kill, for killing a Malone, but it's just as likely to be a SK kill as well, and that the scum were likely blocked, since I can't imagine them holding off from a kill. I don't think our vig killed, because in most cases the vig doesn't usually kill on night/day 1, and I can't see them killing yesterday because we had such little information last night. So, that leaves us with either an SK kill mixed with a possibly blocked scum, or a scum kill with a possibly blocked SK or an SK that decided not to kill. -
If this is chosen, it will be very, very interesting to see how it will get made, and it might even be my first CUUSOO set, depending on how future ones look, unless I get my hands on a Delorean eventually. Does anybody else wonder if they'll use the Series 11 Pretzel Girl's hair in brown for Dorothy!

Mafia After Dark - Day 2: The Godfather - Part II

Hmm, we didn't do much discussing last night. I could really use a nap, too. *Yawn* It's very unfortunate that we aren't going to have a lot to discuss tonight as well. Do the rules say we can't discuss during the day? I'm pretty sure we can, I'll check Tam's rules. Even worse, I can't find Tony. -

Mafia After Dark - Night 1: The Godfather
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Tony and I aren't liking what we've seen from The Great Byron here. He comes here early, posts some role-play, accuses Colin of making a big deal, when I read it as Colin not being serious, and then he just comes back and votes for someone because "something about them seems off", and "some of the things she's said seem peculiar". I've only seen one thing pointed out, which is the only thing I've noticed. Byron, is there anything else? I really don't care for gut votes, either, but that's just me. I can't help but feel maybe at the beginning you were trying to apply some pressure onto Colin, and are now trying to come and apply pressure to Penelope, when only one thing she's said has struck me as odd. Vote: The Great Byron (Bob) Please do explain yourself. -
Mafia After Dark - Night 1: The Godfather
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There usually isn't anything scummy on Day One, but we still lynch anyways. We do get things to analyze from it (vote counts, a day if behavior, etc; behavior we CAN get from not lynching however) and it usually isn't a shot in the dark, because we can actually pick something scummy up from somebody. Now, the people we pick scummy behavior off of, usually aren't scum, but if somebody is picked up as scummy, by all means we shouldn't say that their scummy behavior is just some Day One baloney. I understand the option of a no lynch situation, but I think we learn a bit more from lynching, which is a head's up. -
Mafia After Dark - Night 1: The Godfather
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This has been a very, very quiet night so far, and usually they always are until voting starts. But we can't just sit here quietly, because the scum aren't going to just come out, and we all know that they benefit from us being quiet. While I agree that we have nothing to go off of quite yet, I think it's imperative that we all speak up, especially those who are quieter, and give everyone to successfully read, analyze, and scumhunt. I'm sure we've all heard this before, and we're probably tired of hearing it, but it's entirely true, and we need to act on it. The problem is that just saying this isn't going to help immediately, or even at all, and this is where I can see voting for quieter people to come in handy. While I definitely don't think lynching those who are quiet, I feel that a few votes on them is warranted, just as a reminder to speak up. Well, that slightly rambled on. -

Ohh, Candy! Please continue with the sausage! All of you Ferraris better come out of hiding now, or I'll have Tony come bang you. What's that Tony? You don't want to bang any villains? Oh hon, I didn't mean it that way, I thought it was obvious that this fat sausage I brought was meant for villain banging. -

Tony thinks you're all crazy. So does Tony's dashing impostor. What's that Tony? Cap'n Rolfe's sexy green hair turns you on too? That's great! Kris, are you sure you aren't a man? From a distance I can see a mustache on you. But it's incredibly sexy. Tam, will we have television access? I want to watch myself on the newest hit show "The Terrence and Tony takeover". It's about my life with Tony, alcohol, and that one case where I helped Tony and sparked our newfound love.
