It was a cute joke, but maybe you should have chosen a 5 digit set number. It was still a nice joke regardless.

Carlisa Masinelli whispers, as the other guests cower in fear of the supposed Minotaur visit. "Hello, everybody!" Mercutio announces boldly. "It has come to my attention that Sebastiano Ugliano is dead, and his killers are in this room, disguised as members of the Council. I'm leaving it up to you all to find them." Collectible Minifigures Mafia: Sign-Ups
TrumpetKing replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Final Update: Role PM's are just about done, and I hate to say it, but I'm going to have to make you wait just a little bit longer until I send them and we can start. I'm going to get a quick rest and send them out as soon as I can. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone! -
I don't think it's too early. Series 11 is going to be coming soon, and Series 9 is getting to be almost 8 months old, so it's hype is likely lowering. That said, I do believe this belongs in the Special Themes forum. Hope that answers your question!

Collectible Minifigures Mafia: Sign-Ups
TrumpetKing replied to TrumpetKing's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
SIGN UP'S ARE NOW CLOSED I have finished most Role PM's, however, I'm on vacation, and little internet and battery life means I may only be able to send 1-3 at the most. Expect a Role PM anytime within the next 24 hours and a Confirmation thread to follow. Turns out I will have to wait until later tonight (roughly 12-16 hours from now) to tart sending them. Sorry guys -

*cough cough* Hosting a CMF mafia game, do I count as passionate? *cough* Thant said, it is cloth. You can see very clearly on the reverse side of the checklist that it goes where the cloth skirt pieces go. Honestly, I don't mind that much, though. -

Thanks! Unfortunately, this game won't have any reserves, as I'll be performing modkills. I can however, put you on the very end of the players list in case the requested amount isn't reached. EDIT: I'm thinking about changing this to a reserves list. I'll have a final rule for that set. It's alright. Thanks! -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal. I think I've seen it a few times, actually, and it doesn't really bug me all that much. I'm really bored with the Barbarian. And I don't see a problem with the scientist's hair. Even if we've seen it, we've seen a lot of other pieces over again as well, so I don't mind. Hoping we see some physical figures soon! -
Collectible Minifigures Mafia: Sign-Ups
TrumpetKing posted a topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
TrumpetKing and Hinckley are proud to present..... Oh no! The famous Minifigure Artist Sebastiano Ugliano has been murdered! The Council of Minifigures has decided to hold a gathering in the exquisite "Hotel de Booticcio" to discuss the matter of his death. In order to keep the identities secret, the Council has disguised themselves. The main leader of the Council, "Mercutio Robertson" (His handle), has used his common sense to decide that some of Mr. Ugliano's killers, The League of Monsters, have disguised themselves a members of the Council. Therefore, he has locked down the hotel to find and defeat the monsters in hopes of bringing MiniCity to justice. The Beginning "Finally, I am halfway done with my sculpture of the Heroic Knight." Medusa: "Too bad you won't be finishing! Mwahhahahah!" *BANG!* And thus, we start our scene. "Fluffy! What has happened here?!" "Fluffy, contact the Council immediately". The Rules 1. Each player will be given an alignment to play as. Each player will be aligned with either The Council or The League of Monsters. No Third-Party alignments will be in this game. At all. How do you know if you're right for this game? 1. What is your favorite Collectible Minifigure? 2. Will you be able to post on a daily basis over the next month or two? 3. Can you keep up with 24 hour night action deadlines? 4. I almost forgot to ask for your experience! 5. Will you be ready to experience whatever horror the simplicity of my first hosting experience brings? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Here's my thoughts on the series: Barbarian: He looks alright, but I'm more partial to other figures. Scarecrow: Perfect. That's the same crow from Lone Ranger, right? If so, even more perfect. Bavarian Lady: Very cool, and a very pleasant surprise. I'm actually quite happy with how she turned out. Evil Mech: One of the more "meh" figures for me, but I'll still get him as a completionist. Tiki Warrior: This is exactly what I had in mind when I suggested one a few years ago, down to the neck attachment mask. I wish the mask wasn't so vibrant though. A more subtle mask would have been slightly better IMO. Gingerbread Man: He actually looks "meh" compared to the rest of the series. I still really like him, though. Holiday Elf: The only thing I don't like is the face. It just seems rather rat-like to me, whereas I pictured him a bit more cutesy. Yeti: Easily top 3 in the series. One of my favorites. I don't know if there's anything I don't like about him. Mountain Climber: Probably my least favorite. I'm not really liking the red, but it is an overall decent figure. Welder: He looks pretty cool, but he's not the strongest figure in the series. Scientist: She's a great figure, but I feel like the other strong figures kind of make her look more "meh". Jazz Musician: Going to want a few of these, but will probably only get one. The sax looks great. The suit looks like something we've seen, unfortunately, IMO. Diner Waitress: She's more flashy for my tastes, which is disappointing because I was really looking forward to her. Luckily, I still think she's an OK figure. I love that hairpiece. Grandma: Funny thing, after getting the Hollywood Starlet, I had a pretty had time seeing how her hairpiece can make a youthful appearance (and believe me, I put in on all kinds of figures). Needless to say, each figure looked older than original. So, I can understand the hair choice. Not sure why she has a basket though. The cat's also a little blocky, IMO. A little disappointed with this figure. Constable: A pretty good figure. he seems to not have too much detail though. Please LEGO,stop with the really bushy mustaches! Actually, I like it better on him than the Mechanic form last series, so he's alright. Lady Robot: She's still a major meh for me. So, I think this is my favorite series! I'm going to get them all, of course, like I always do. It looks like we're getting 15 new parts this series, which is great as well. -
