Ragnarök Now Redux - Day One
TrumpetKing replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dufa's made an interesting, more convincing point about Mist. While I agree with those points, I have a hard time voting for her, as I do tend to lead towards scum towards her past lives every time we meet, and I'm failing to see what makes her playing yle that much different than other times. Helga and Dufa both say that Wilhalm tends to play this way each time. I think some books need dusting and some research needs to be done, and I'll be able to get a better idea of his activity -

I hate asking this since you tend to be town when I do, but do you have anything actually specific about Snotra and Naemr, or are you just going to agree with everybody like usual? -

This quote bugs me. It's one of those posts that we tend to see scummy bummies use a lot to appear active and persuade us not to look into anything because it's only day one. It's day one, we sure as hell won't have concrete information to go off of, but that doesn't mean we can't build a case using somebody's behavior. I haven't seen much of this fellow outside of Valhalla, so I can't speak for what he normally acts like, but for right now, it's worth a vote in my book. Vote: Wilhalm Bloodaxe (WhiteFang) -

What exactly is a phone? Are you 100% sure that the ox urine is used medicinally? -

No, no, it's not crap, it's urine. And it's supposedly medicinal, but I've got my eyes on Helga. -

Why are you brutes speaking in third person and boiling ox urine? Clearly Weasel urine is what yer looking for. Unless, of course, you plan on spillin' out that ox urine in the shape of a pentagram and plan on summoning either Satan or Loki, whichever one is where we are. -

Oooh, lamp-shaped pants! This theme looks pretty nice. Might have to pick a few of these up for Ariel and Flounder especially.

1.) Quite a few games. And I've hosted one as well as somewhat cohosted another. 2.) I've got a lot more free time, so yes. 3.) I'm still fairly new to mafia, and although I've been playing for a year, I still don't feel like I really have a true playing style due to being a "noob" still. For those reasons I'd pick Iounn, the Goddess of Youth. -
You have your opinion and I have mine. It could easily be considered Series 12, just because it isn't labeled doesn't mean it can't be considered Series 12 by LEGO. Team GB is not a normal series because it was exclusive to a specific area. Series 11was not exclusive because it was released nearly worldwide, like most series. That s hardly exclusive, unless you mean it's excluding parts of Europe. I guess you could really say both of our logic is flawed, as you make some decent points as well, but sime don't make sense to me. In my eyes, 10 of these figures could easily fit into the normal series. Other than the three main characters and the robots, they could all fit in a normal series. They might not all make good figure ideas, but they could easily be put into a normal series. The bad cop might be tough to fit in too, but if it didn't have a eversible expression I could definitely see it fitting in. Where do you get the MMORPG series being a USA/Asia exclusive too??
-
I get what you're saying, but there was a series already out when the GB figures were released. There won't be another series out, unless you count Series 11. Otherwise, this series is slated for the same release as Series 12 would be. If this were to follow the patterns of GB, another special series, don't you think we'd be getting a normally labeled series alongside it? Just because it doesn't say Series 12 on it doesn't mean it won't be counted. The MMORPG could easily be counted as a normal series as well. Also, there were other reasons why Series 11 wasn't released in Europe. As it was released everywhere else, it's not a special series, unlike GB, which was exclusive to one place. Your logic is flawed too.
-
Yes, but the Olympic series was likely not numbered because it was released in different parts of Europe exclusively, so if it was numbered, it would have screwed up the numbering system of the series. If this were like the Olympic Series, don't you think we'd have news of another series running alongside this one, as it's likely going to be released January, the first CMF release date of each year? 32 CMF's running alongside eachother seems a bit overkill, IMO. I lean towards this series and the next being included, but only time will tell. You're right that they could come later, but even then it would be running alongside another 16 minifigures in the personally dreaded Simpsons series. I just have a hard time seeing the logic in LEGO making customers wait a full year to get the next numbered series, just because of two special series that could easily be counted in the mix. It really doesn't change anything whether it's counted or not, however.
-
Well, just because it doesn t say Series 12 on the packs doesn't mean it's not going to be counted as Series 12. I have a hard time believing that they'd only release one series that was actually labeled as a specific numbered series in a year, especially since it wouldfd be the final wave of the year. If it were released in January and lasted the whole year, then that would make sense, but I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be considered Series 12 other than the fact that it's not on the packs. We'll see in September whether the packs are labeled Series 12 or 14, only time will tell. I was anxious to see these figures, and I'm alrit with how the series turned out. I'm disappointed about all the robots and how we get main characters, but really, a lot of these figures could have been seen in a normal series. The cat lady is a bit disappointing after just having a series with a pretty similar Grandma, but it's still decently designed. The designs and new pieces are great, and I'm actually kind of looking forward to the series now.

Great game, everybody, even if it was short. My games always end up short. Cam I actually call this hosting? Sorry for being a shitty cohst, Hinckley. Guess I can't expect CMF 2 to last longer than Day 4
