Nod! How could you! But seriously... in case you missed the updates... The order limit was increased to 40,000 when it became apparent 30,000 was likely to sell out within a few hours of the commencement of Crowdfunding, At the time of writing 9,152 Thieves of Tortuga sets remain.
-
There is also another variable within the code named dPercentagePreordered with a current value of 0.742725 nMaxAvailable * dPercentagePreordered = TotalPreOrders 40000 * 0.742725 = 29,709 So 10,291 sets are still available. If I had the time, I'd write some JavaScript to automatically extract these values and create a little dashboard on Classic-Pirates.com to better illustrate this.

Thanks for sharing that information!

While the BrickLink Designer Team haven't specified the increased production limits, they did create this notification on the Series 5 main page:

[OFFICIAL] NEW Pirate in 2025 Q3 Build a Minifigure selection
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well I am! There definitely should be a Dutch faction, focused more on merchants, rather than pirates, because we've already got plenty of pirates. Give us something a bit different! And I think they should make such minifigures and sets distinctly Dutch by borrowing motifs from history and then putting a LEGO spin on them. The same way the Fleur-de-Lis on the blue coat flag, or the the Imperial Armada minifigures wore morions, even though they'd fallen out of fashion by time the Golden Age of Piracy hit its peak. But little details like those make the factions feel distinct to the nationalities that inspired them. I also concur! -

Isn't that the flag of Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie a.k.a Dutch East India Company? And therefore merchants rather than pirates would fly it? -

That be fair reasoning lad! Taking a guess, the designers perhaps chose not use the tricorn hairpiece because it's been used in a few recent female pirate minifigures and they're aiming to keep it fresh: And that brings us to another question: Did Camilla need to be redesigned to be more action-orientated? Or should they have kept to her design more consistent with what had already been established?

YouTube just recommended this video to me... Definitely one of the most impressive fleets in all the brick seas!

You're not alone! Many fans wanted that design in green and a variety of other colours. @evancelt's Rocky Mountain Minifigures offers a third-party solution to that makret shortage.

Rotating Pirate LEGO Display: In Progress Report
Mister Phes replied to SBCMayor's topic in LEGO Pirates
The layout is still progressing rather fantastically! Have yer heard the news about Thieves of Tortuga? Is that something you'd incorporate into the display? Or is the focus strictly classic? -
