I'm wondering what the other users who've been attempting to make a custom Davey Jones mini-figure think of Vader's work?
-
I haven't seen all the Firefly episodes but I don't recall much "pirating" in the traditional seafaring sense. Was there any or are you referring to pirates in the science fiction sense?

Its part of my role as an administrator to maintain order but I'd rather not to be quite honest. A user reported your discussion because they were concerned where it might head, so I had to act and did so as diplomatically as possible.
-
I lectured nobody. I suggested that you and Mr Morse resolve your differences peacefully and objectively, hardly an "improve your behaviour or face consequences" warning, which you probably would have received from the other administrators. No, you're thinking outside the box there and that's a good thing! Indigenous cultures were often the victims of European conquest, so does that make the Europeans heroic for decimating them people, or are these peoples heroic for struggling to survive has they had for eons?

And it should always been written in uppercae. X-D The lazy way! Anyone ever heard of a program called Character Map? Its been included with Windows since about 1991. No, in Norrington's case I mean toy. :-D
-
No, that's not what I was referring to. I highlighted in bold read what I wanted you to take note of. How could you possibly miss that? Its never LEGOs! Never write that! Its always LEGO!!! But if you want to use the

The girl carrying every single Pirate LEGO set is not a very realistic example. Physically it would be impossible and it would be almost near impossible for a small child to possess each sets. And no, I never said I'd attack a girl for LEGO. You have a very overactive imagination Mr Norrington and it seems you jump to conclusions based on your own assumption rather than the evidence that is already there. PS... Proper Use of the LEGO Trademark on a Web Site from LEGO.com If the LEGO trademark is used at all, it should always be used as an adjective, not as a noun. For example, say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGO BRICKS". Never say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGOs". Also, the trademark should appear in the same typeface as the surrounding text and should not be isolated or set apart from the surrounding text. In other words, the trademarks should not be emphasized or highlighted. Finally, the LEGO trademark should always appear with a

Just like Mr Tiber explained. We thought the MOC would get a better discussion if it were in a thread of its own so Mr Tiber moved your first post into a thread of its own, so all the details from that post (like its creator) were transferred to the new thread, Phred! How do you like that?

Wee ship Mr Norro? And at what size do ships stop being classified as "wee" because this particular vessel seems to be somewhat bigger than the Black Seas Barracuda which by LEGO set standards is quite a big vessel. Anyway, lets have a picture of it shall we!
-
I like the way put this. I don't think I've ever read anyone with this perspective because they majority just write them off as solely being inspired by the cultures of the South Pacific. I look forward to your next Islander MOC! Like Mr Enoa said 'Well for the "history" debate i don't care about it' so it really doesn't matter what the Imperials are doing in other continuities because only Enoa's counts in this MOC

You've got to have something to grab the audiences' attention and really interesting pictures seem to do the trick - hence why they're used in advertising so much. And obviously you've also got to offer your existing audience something new and exciting for when then they return to the thread. So a bit of colour never goes astray. GO GET EM LAAAAAADDIE!!!
