  1. Yes, indeed this ship has been posted here before but why is everyone saying its an illegal copy? Obviously there is some cloning from the Black Seas Barracuda but there are also differences like... But is it illegal to make a similiar ship? How different does the ship have to be? So why do you keep posting in them? X-D
  2. What's wrong with the use of the white?
  3. I've removed the background form many images and accidentally missed many tiny areas. Having said that I went easy on you X-D
  4. Your powers of image editing is improving Brickster, however you've missed a few smaller areas around the lattice.
  5. How did I miss this topic? Its probably a little late but I'll move to where the Pirate experts can easily locate it. I'd say eBay is probably the best place to get a Renegade Runner from. Simply create an eBay search which Emails you with daily results for a Renegade Runner. If you set the search up properly so it scans thoroughly and widely, eventually you'll find a decent Renegade Runner which isn't too expensive. The aim is to take advantage of novice eBay sellers who don't understand how to auction LEGO and thus their auctions receive few votes. Of course this may take between 6 to 12 months because what you save in $ you'll pay for in time.
  6. I think Mr Cleese's feedback was very constructive and helpful for anyone embarking on MOCing in the steampunk genre. It would be interesting to see what he'd create following his own advice and I don't mean anything Time Twister/Cruiser related.
  7. So that mini-figure is from the original B-Wing? T'would seem this link answers my question!
  8. How did Dr Crow come to get his robotic arm?
  9. QUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!! Get John Cleese to this thread immediately! He's a major steampunk fan so he's probably candidate the best discuss this MOC with.
  10. There's nothing like a good pirate roasting to free him from his mortal body X-D
  11. Shall you be adding more of your own Mr Woody?
  12. Indeed I should. I also should be granted time to build a ship that nice... someday... Don't think its going to happen anytime soon though.
  13. Ahhhhhhh this set! Thanks Jamtf! Now I'll wait for someone to inform me which Wester sets the head came in X-D
  14. Come to think of it, I've seen the head used in one of Castle Wolf Pack sets... Can't remember which one though...
  15. I'm not the biggest fan of his face either, but I think that's more to do with how overused and generic its become. These modern times with multitudes of different mini-figure faces has caused me to depreciate the older mini-figure faces!
  16. Eh? I didn't build this ship! X-D Maybe Mr Legeaux could go over to Bonaparte's place to test out his MOCs ship with floating hulls. :-D
  17. Errrr... What about... Its benefitial for houses to recieve electricity from both the main power grid and a solar power panel? X-D
  18. Well that's a simpler way of explaining it X-D
  19. But having made my assessment, go take a look at the latest space sets...
  20. The force is strong in Yoda at the moment! He's been churning out pictorial reviews faster than the frontpage can handle them! Here's his latest space set reviews 7694 MT-31 Trike View 7694 MT-31 Trike Pictorial Review 7692 MX-71 Recon Dropship View 7692 MX-71 Recon Dropship Review
  21. Click Thumbnails to view larger image Click here for comprehensive information and more pictures This is one of the earlier pirate mini-figures which makes use of the blue and white striped torso, combined with the bandana it provides the figure with a very seaman like characteristic. The mini-figure's head was one of the first to stray from the classic "smile and two eyes" design, and has also made apperances in the Castle and Western themes. The facial hair greatly assists in defining this mini-figure's identity as a pirate because without it he'd look too friendly to be a Pirate.
  22. WHAAAAAAAAT!!! Too lazy! How could you be too lazy! Actually it doesn't matter so much because they don't look too bad. I suppose there is a hint of them being paper here and there but all things considering you've done well in the sail department.
  23. I suppose that's a good thing for those like me who don't have LEGO Chess, but on the other hand it demonstrates very little creative initiative.
  24. Dino and Viking seem to be defunct now... What about themes like Batman and Star Wars ? They still have elements of human violence.
  25. Errrr... Could we see them front-on? From a top view we can't really see which faces and torsos you're using. I forget which theme did those translucent hooks come from? Time Cruisers? Alpha Team?
