I must ask what those letters are made from...

Yes all hail to the king! Except for me of course, who incidentally happens to be the god of the Pirate Forum Oh, some maybe not. I'm only a demigod really... Yes all hail to the king! I see canoe and a BURP there... That's good enough.

I've found another mother lode... CLICK HERE to place a bid on the second mother lode!

Yes, unfortunately for me, LEGO sells at a much higher price than most places. I'm not exactly sure why this is. I better put my thinking cap on and work it out ASAP.

If you're looking for a flood of replies then you're probably going to have to put greater effort into presenting your MOCs. Looking at the picture you've posted all I see is a jumble of pieces and I don't think that's going to catch a great deal of attention. You really need to photograph your MOCs in an area free from visual distractions otherwise people are going to look at the picture and think "Errr... What's that?" and move on.

The talents of Oo7 shine through again! He almost won the Pirate Halloween competition but was defeated by SlyOwl. So this just proves persistent will get you there eventually!

So who is this tigerggyy? His blog appears to in a language which I cannot decipher although his work is rather impressive.
-
Welcome aboard Frostbite! What do you call the name of this fine vessel?

Couldn't tell you how much LEGO sells for in Denmark, but I've noticed another Australian auction for 5KG of LEGO sold for $460 which is 2,091.18 DKK Click Here to view the auction So take this information into consideration and make your own estimates.
-
Depends which country really... In Australia you'd get over $200 for that....

You guys should keep finding this stuff and turn the fish shop into a museum! Get your fresh fish and a dose history all at the same time! You got pictures of the pots, bottles, kettles, etc?
-
Shame on you! Someone should really create an epic sea battle between the Troll Warship and Viking Longboat though.

Mister Phes replied to Captain Cavinano's topic in LEGO Pirates
New Pirates indeed! These green things will never raise to the brilliance of Classic Pirates! -
I think in any comparisons it's very useful to have the items being compared side by side, so here they are: Captain Cavinano, I'll add this to your second post where it will get more attention but let me know if it's too wide for your screen resolutions. Having a widescreen display it's hard to tell sometimes.

I think this creation would make a very good set. The only modification to make it more "set" like is changing the baseplate because it would be highly unlikely an official set would have that much left over space. In fact, I think this is frontpage news worthy too
-
You've made plenty of changes and innovations. I like how you've solved the baseplate problem by using slopes. How do you know it costs $300 to buy though?
-
That sounds great! You ever considered building that out of real bricks one day?
-
What happened to your bicorne?
-
That's an impressive looking fleet, but how many of those ships are actually made from LEGO?
-
Do you know what the shipping is or would the seller have to give me a quote?

The images are a touch on the large size - 800 pixels wide should be a sufficient width. Check out the Batch Image Resize Tutorial sometime. Which set does this baseplate come from? I'd be curious to see more pictures of it.

It appears Kinzcove has been sent to the brig and therefore his animation may never be made.

This should be most interesting. Captain Green Hair built one not so long ago but I think he's waiting for the next EB Pirates comic before he posts it.
