All recent Pirate sets (expect for the Imperail Flagship) have been discontinued, so anything you see in stores is just old stock that hasn't sold yet. But once it's gone that's it, the LEGO Group aren't producing anymore. In the case of 6253 Shipwreck Hideout, like Andre said it was a limited set which was exclusive to Toys R Us. So you're unlikely to them at other retailers.

I can't seem to remember them... But there's a couple more I've forgotten about. Zorro is the one with the Cat `O Ninetails and he insists everybody is blindfolded before he whips them.

And what worthy addition it is to the frontpage! I shall however put another "Blogged" tag in the first post so its more prominently positioned.

Thank you to everybody who has taken the time to comment on the new skin. I found this project quite challenging, obtaining cross-browser compatibility was very difficult and I spent many late nights getting it to work adequately in Ineternet Explorer 7 and 8. But unfortunately I ran out of time and energy to achieve Internet Explorer 6 compability. So hopefully not too many are inconvenienced by this. You're welcome sir!

The LEGO Pirates Forum is a joint venture between Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com. Classic-Pirates.com emerged from the LEGO Pirates Forum to provide an information resource solely focused upon LEGO Pirates. The original intention was to migrate the forum to Classic-Pirates.com at some point in the future, however this hasn't been deemed viable. Nonetheless, Classic-Pirates.com has become a prosperous online community in its own right and the blog (not including forum) receives between 16,000 to 20,000 unique visitors per month. The relationship between Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com is synergistic. Classic-Pirates.com drives additional traffic to the LEGO Pirates Forum on Eurobricks, while Eurobrick's shares it's extremely large userbase with Classic-Pirates.com. As this appears to be the most affluent LEGO Pirates Forum there seems little point modifying the arrangement. "If ain't broke, don't fix it!" The previous Pirate Forum skin was also inconsistent with the other Eurobricks skins, so little has changed in that respect.

Yes, remain vigilant for there are more unresolved mysteries at Eurobricks than there were in some TV Show called Lost.

I see an entry thread has appeared in the Pirate Forum. If somebody had given us the heads up we could have factored this into Classic-Pirates.com news schedule and provided additonal exposure. However, we're days away from launching the Tournament of Retribution II and promoting two contests in days of each other may not be the best approach.

The serious answer is... When somebody reaches the rank of Pirate Regulator they are rewarded with a portrait. For some reason the pirate formerly known as Erdbeereis didn't receive a portrait when he was promoted to Regulator, probably because I was too busy to inform the painter of the good news.

A whole 3 hours? So there's room for improvement. First female Regulator, huh? First female Eurobricks Staff member come to think of it... Unless you count Clecle but wasn't that promotion more hononary? Out of love!

Of course he won't have to kneel at my feet. That's very unproductive, he'll have to do my laundry for 6 months instead This a little late, but our painter was holidaying in the south of France and only returned a few days ago...

Do you think you could share a picture of what you've built so far? That would greatly help people to visualise a colour scheme.
