It says quite prominently on the box there are only 24 days. I wouldn't complain about 25 though.

Was there any reason stated as to why the calendar wasn't released in the US to begin with?

Isn't it beneficial to have advent calendars before December 1st since they're intended to used between then and Christmas?

So what's with generosity these days? The LEGO Factory spit out too many pieces and it's like "We've got too many of the same pieces we'll just have to give them away!"

So are those spare epaulettes in every calendars? I thought I was lucky and got a bonus pair.

When I first build it, assumed it was a parrot pearch complete with container for bird seed. I suspect the mug was used because it may seem strange that a parrot on a perch be eating from a goblet. The treasure must be hidden in the sand dunes

I'm opening mine day by day too. Only slight problem with this thread is we're both in timezones which are almost 24 hours ahead of some parts of the world. So potentially we could spoil the day ahead for some people.

I feel this thread needs a specific angle because we've already got a couple dealing with the calendar. So perhaps we could have a spoiler free discussion thread. She's a girl, enough said

Apparently Toys R Us is the only store which stocks Shipwreck Hideout in Australia. Frustrating for me as there are no Toys R Us in my area!

Actually it was the 4+ Pirates, so no wonder somebody got through the defences! But on a more serious note we did lose 9 days worth of statistics, other than that everything is back and better than ever!

Incorrect Captain Zuloo. The problem was not excessive bandwidth use. It appears the downtime was caused by malicious activity enacted by a third party. But never fear because we've strengthened the security to prevent such occurences in the future.
