  1. Unaware of the hidden ewok village this viking allows himself to get captured. It won't be long before the others arrive with BBQ sauce.
  2. xwing-awesome story. You should have just run over them all over with the humvee. ;) That thing is huge! I like the dinos sort of. I really don't care for the little ones. The medium one isn't all that great but the jumbo dinos are very nice. I really want a black/green one. I will wait until I find them on sale near Christmas though.
  3. Canon is a good brand name to get. I know that in the US at Walmart htey had a nice Canon camera with a docking port for recharging for uned $150. I have a Canon powershot. It is not the current one which is a little nicer but it has 3.2 with 10x optical zoom and an image stabalizer. I paid $400 for it though. Maybe you can convince your parents they should get one then you could use it. Remember that regardless of the camera there are a number of costs people often forget about. -spare batteries -cleaning items -protective case -memory cards -extended warranty These can turn your $100 camera into a a $300 camera easily if you get quality stuff.
  4. Yes, try the key on the bedroom lock! Lets see if we can get in there! Pete can you explain what the light is for a little to us.

    Hi

Welcome, be sure to try your hand at monsters also! :^D Click the link in my signature to find out more. No better way to get to know people. ;)
  6. Aye welcome. I trust you'll enjoy your stay and get involved in the local conversation. See you on the boards.
  7. Crusaders. Lions, Lions and Lions oh yeah! :oD
  8. IIRC if you listen to the audio at brickfest you hear Jake talk about getting feedback about the new remote train system they were working on. So, the new trains could have totally sucked without the Ambassador program. Oh and EB is the center of the LEGO information universe. It is rare that something important LEGO is going on that someone at EB doesn't make a post about it. It is nice because not only can I come here and get 90% of all LEGO current news but I can also talk about it freely, read what others have to say and to usually get pics or links to the source. Also the leaked stuff is nice also. ;) I think we will soon see some changes but I wouldn't expect anything before 2007.
  9. Happy Birthday. You can now drive if you worked toward that end. Too bad you'll have to run errands for mom and dad now until you move out. :'( Hope you get akll the LEGO you asked for and then some.
  10. Let us ascend the stairs! Athos do you still have that light you used in the basement? Keep your eyes open for clues! 8-|
  11. Oh, I almost forgot these. Please list the words for the following- Yes No Where is the bathroom? When do we eat? Please Thank you You're welcome I will kill you with fire! *twisted*
  12. Happy Mad Sad Sick Hand Eye/see Hero
  13. Happy birthday. I hope you get loads of LEGO and you put it to use right away.
  14. LEGO is instantly recognized by the red, blue, yellow, white and black 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4 plastic building bricks. The logo is a constant and easily recognizable with or with out the bricks present. The very word LEGO is plastic building blocks to most people. Much like Band Aid instead of bandage or Kleenex instead of facial tissue (in the US at least) LEGO or legos is the name used for the bricks, clone bricks, or even competitors building bricks. Slogans/mottos may have something to do with it. Where it is made may have something to do with it (though I doubt it outside of Europe). The core identity is bound up with the bricks in colorful plastic. Minifigures are also an integral part of LEGO. Both Duplo and System sizes are easy to identify as LEGO. The names Duplo and System also mean something. Fortunately, after a poor name change Duplo is back to stay. Perhaps System will return someday also. Have fun and let us know what your teacher thinks.
  15. Somewhat off topic, if someone wants to see the parts from the advent calendar look here and here.
  16. Yes, and I see that you already entered it. Nice job by the way!
  17. Does it have a roof coming or do the poor horse sleep in the rain? This is great. I like the overall design. The little living details make it look even better. I like the smaller style of building TLC uses for their buildings so I would have made it a little less grand and a whole lot more cramped to get all those details in. I really like the "full service" stable you have created. So many times people just have an odd box with stalls. One question though, where is the water trough? Nice work.
  18. Welcome and enjoy yourself. Don't forget to join the monster contest.
  19. Very true but you have to pay more than the US does so it almost balances out to 33% (if all the same set) for everyone. This isn't for all sets but often our 19.99 dollar set is 19.99 euro. Which obviously is not the same cost. I think this will be changing but anyway you look at it LEGO is expensive.
  20. These are awesome. I love the whole idea of it. Much better than the KK2 storyline. Random vikings, strong, tough, brave, let's take it to them. Bring out the flaming rocks and tarred bolts. What do we do now? Lets set sail for more discovery and adventure!
  21. I refuse to sail anything not in the water. It just isn't right I tell you!
  22. You know I saw this on Lugnet and I thought odd. It makes sense that the LEGO community which designed better virtual tools would eventually crack this nut and begin to alter it. It's mad science it is! :oD I really hope LEGO will team up with some of these coding smarties and develop a better LDD. I also hope that by then the polybag system is more varied and simpler. Maybe then I will get a set that I built. Nice find Hobbes. I do find it humorous that LEGO is pleased to see people hacking their designs. It really makes LEGO seem to be truely customer focused instead of money focused.

    My room

I really like the LEGO buckets undet the table. I instantly recognized them. Lovely little start. Looking forward to the whole series.
  24. Confirmed, TRU in MN also has this sale. It is for the birthday of the giraffe mascot. Buy 2 get one free. Which is effectively 33% off each set. Which is not bad at all :D .
  25. He is selling so he can get the funds he needs to start some new project. He is getting out of LEGO and stepping into his own brand of toy I think. You would have to do some research elsewhere to find out for sure but that is what i am picking up on.
