I don't think any parts are made in China. I think the stickers are as it is cheaper to have them made there than to print on parts in Denmark.

Look at google for what a real hovercraft does and how it works. It is basically air pressure in a mostly confined area that keep it only slightly above the ground. A large gap in the height will release the pressure to quickly thus causing the craft to no longer hover. What you are talking about are scifi technologies. There are no limits in terms of height for those. Thus the flying cars. So make up what you want as it is all fictitious anyway.

Welcome Skinny Boy!

I should mention the minimum is higher. I also have a bypass code for that. Feel free to PM me and request either.

That is a promising MOC. I want to see if they will use custom sails or brick/plate built sails. Fantastic start for sure.

Is anyone else having a problem with the new mark all read features? Not that I am in a hurry if it is being worked on but I just wiondered if it is just me.

X-box I want a gamecube or Revolution version! I hope they port everything at the same time so I can get a nintendo version when it comes out. Or if not right away at least before Christmas.

I have some good prices on both parts and minifigs in my store The Armor Shop If you are outside the US and would like to buy something shoot me a PM and I will send you the bypass code. I will ship for free internationally if you buy at least 20 minifigs, reduced shipping either way.

My only complaint with that one is the scale. :( I usually give away or sell all my Technic and Belville figures. For it's scale this is the best I will say.

B-OV-26C Brick building Check it out. I have never seen a brick building look so good. It must have cost a small fortune to get so many dark red plates.

I think we are begining to see it right now this year more so. Though we may not realize it, the number of minifigures in sets is clearly on the rise. We are seeing less jumbo one use pieces in sets. Piece count in sets has taken a dramatic spike. I am finding less wasteful parper in LEGO boxes these days. We are getting almost every new type of set people have wanted (space is still missing due to SW). Theme we thought dying (technic & civilian town) are making huge comebacks. To say that the ambassadors or that Jake's work with the AFOL community isn't making progress is to refuse to look back to years like 2001-2003. We are having vast improvements. It has been almost 20 years since we saw $20 sets have seven minifigs. Even more is the high piece counts and the sudden death of the entire 4+ line. If Jake didn't have a hand in that I would be very surprised. I think Jake has done a good job. He has always been there for even the smallest fan. He had a crazy schedule and more responsibility than he could handle (that is why he got an intern I think). I don't blame him for moving to something less demanding in one respect but possibly more in others. I never had a cross word from him in any email and he had to put up with a lot of crap. Not only that but he personally handed over the survey data I collected to the CEO. Jake is a top notch guy and fellow AFOL and I say a hearty thank you to him. Jake, if you are snooping around on this forum and read this you have my thanks and respect for being a good role model and an excellent community relations guy. If you don't maybe Steve can shoot a link to you. MOC on trainbrain!

As your house sits right now I will grade it 1 to 10, 10 being best Design: 5, clearly inspired by the Blacksmith shop which is well designed but it is not your design Look: 4, too colorful with some odd shapes and appears to empty to be the house of a busy pirate Quality: 6, a good build and I can tell it looks solid the pieces are placed with some thought Creativity: 5, again mostly stolen concept no new items or extras and lack fun details Overall: 5 out of 10, a good effort with some nice details. Looks sturdy, is a good size, and has the bare minimum for being a nice MOC are all things it has going for it. It could use a little help and a fair revamp. It looks like the blacksmith shop. Which could be good or bad. I would drop one of the colors entirely or use it as only accents. For example you could switch the green shutters for red ones, make the upper story walls white instead or blue and use red slopes for the canopy instead of white. Switch your window frames to red or yellow if you can. You would the have only red, white and yellow as your main colors and grays and black as the neutral stuff. I would also add an attic for storage with a ladder to get to it. Move all the barrels up there or under the stairs. Place the keg on a rack and add a place for weapons to hang. I would shrink the fire place down as you only need a smaller on for cooking as I don't think you do iron working. I would also make the bed hollow inside with a part that can lift up so you can hide treasure or something under it. A goblet and a dish (2x2 radar dish works) for the table would be a nice touch. I would also not have vines growing on the outside (personal preference). I would add a stand with a parrot on it next to the door and make it have multiple hooks if you want to hang a cape on it also. Finally I would switch the roof parts on top for double sided peaks to make it look more natural. With changes like these I would bump the grade to a 7 or 8. You would need to add something unique to the look or design of it and do something a little more eye catching that a square with a roof on it to be truely worth a 10. Don't feel bad about your score. I wrote this to try and help you build even better (and at your request for a review). I often times put even less detail on the outside and mostly no detail in my houses so you are steps ahead of me in that respect. If you want a great house for yourself you will need to go a the extra mile. MOC on Willy, MOC on!

If you want the set quickly and don't care much about the figures this page is a good place. His A-wings are under half of normal cost but have no figures. The same with his Wookiee Catamarans which are much less than half. Great deals unless you need the figures or live in the US (shipping in Europe or Uk is much cheaper).

Welcome to the home of Spongebob. *wacko* I mean Eurobricks

My favorite is Diddy Kong. Diddy rules. I have others I like quite a bit. Meta Knight, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Bowser all are great in their own right.

Happy birthday! Enjoy a good game of chess.

This is a great idea and a well built MOC. I like the overall look and the colors are great. But can it pose?

Welcome to EB. Have fun and behave.

I love the hair. I would like to see it come in a few more colors, yellow, orange, and white mostly. My only complaint about hair is that it is the rubbery stuff instead of plastic. Can't win them all I guess. I don't like any of the Mecha that much. They are too power ranger or something. Plus they have no armor in the back which is stupid. The gate set is my favorite still. I will probably pass on the medium sets and just get a figure or two from Bricklink. The only mech like sets I will have will be the small ones (which I have already) and Striking Venom. I will build my own medium sizes in colors that match each side.

Happy Birthday to you both. May all you presents rattle and your dinner be paid for by someone else!

Those seem like Moc up sets and pictures. I am sure these are somewhat close to the final but I don't think this is what we will be getting. Avatar set with 700+ pieces? That would be like $70-90 set. I just can't see it costing that much. I will for the better pictures from EB.

Nice to learn more about you Thrash. I would like to see the rules for the game you made.
