Terraversan Letters of Marque - The Second Terraversan War

And I hear King Philip The Pretentious has riots in his streets, and people calling for the downfall of the monarchy and the rise of a republic... -
Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol. 5, Issue 4)

I haven't seen her in the mrca form submissions, so either something has gone wrong, or you forget her @Darnok. Actually doesn't seem to have gotten orders since November 19. -

That would not normally be licensable, so I would say no. That sounds more like a property, then. -

If you gift Oleon the moc to license, they can do that. If you gift TER a ship to license, they probably will. -
[BTV1-TER] raising of troop: Guerrillas Mercenaries
Bregir replied to NOD's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice figbarf, sir. Interesting use of torsos from many different lines. And just to clear up any potential misunderstandings, you cannot recruit troops in Terraversa for the EGS (but they can exist IC). But in showing guerillas being raised there, we (the gms) may for instance add some guerilla troops to bolster the defences, or otherwise use these in our gm'ing. Hope that is clear. -
The Second Terraversan War - Submissions Thread
Bregir replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Each player can submit two builds per turn. They can be for the same, or opposing factions. Quality of story, presentation, and build will be taken into limited account, but these are mainly considered story builds. The effect will be gm'ed. Examples: - Several builds showing militias being raised against the invasion may result in the game masters adding a few troops to the TER forces. - Builds showing guerillas may result in limited movement through the interior. - Builds showing sabotage may decrease/counter troop raising. - Builds showing diplomatic efforts may have diplomatic effects. - Etc. It really is up to each player what to build. The impact of each individual build will be limited, but in sum, they may end up having significant impact on events on Terraversa, although it will mainly be resolved through fixed mechanics. Hope that cleared it up a bit. -
Cooke may finally have escaped the clutches of the "loyalist" agents.

[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa

Cooke may finally have escaped the clutches of the "loyalist" agents. -
The streets of Kings Port is alive with soldiers and civilians running more or less aimlessly around as the church-bells and shouts of alarm alert the Terraversans of Oleon's invasion. Watching his guard running off Cooke ponders what little difference it matters, the door being as unyielding as ever. Cooke had largely been ignored since being brought here from Nola Mar, most likely because a Corlander post-captain under accusation of spying is about as horrible a potential diplomatic case as can be. Suddenly, a rending crash tears through the cell window, as a cannonball hits home. Pushing himself against the wall, debris flies through the cell. As the dust settles, an interesting scene appears. The walls have crumbled, and the iron door shot off its hinges - and outside the cell, Cooke's hat, cape, sword, and documents have conveniently been left for the picking. That's one opportunity Cooke will not be missing out on... ____________________ Nice to finally have my character back again, although he may have moved from the frying pan into the fire, with the way things are going on Terraversa!

[COR - MRCA] Not dusk but dawn
Bregir replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Now is probably not the time to push that particular button... -
Does it?.. I like how you know the intricacies of how the mechanics work Look at the history of our gunboats, rather than one instance of an entirely outgunned boat against a fleet. I think you will find a different conclusion.
-
It's a small open boat with very little capacity for travel on the open seas, but its oars gives it excellent manoeuvrability in a fight. (and, it's proven quite effective) It's a gunboat - so how does that not make sense? :P You insulted my stats, so... :P Don't worry - I'll get on it this weekend :)

BoBs Discussion : Fleshie or Yellow heads?
Bregir replied to Count Vroskri's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Complaints, even? Unless you have received pms, I think you are just missing the tongue in cheek part of the comments. Personally, I prefer yellows - that's just "proper" lego to me - but I really don't mind if others prefer the more realistic fleshies. (Also... Note the colour of the emojis... YELLOW FOREVAH!!! ) -
[COR - MRCA] All Things Come to an End
Bregir replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Should the bastard have escaped again, I am sure we would once more have blown him off the face of the seas, but I am quite happy to see justice be done! Excellent little build and good story. My only comment is that the white background almost hides the white building facade. A little contrast there would have been good, but its a very minor detail. Great use of the tricorn with ponytail, btw! -
I do indeed personally prefer classic yellow minifigs, but I guess I will have to accept that an old friend has now betrayed me for the fleshy side.... Excellent build as always - I'd like to highlight the excellent quality of the story for this one. I ABSOLUTELY love the backstory you are giving these troops, both in terms of tactics and history, but also on how they fit into the current world of BoBS. I can't add much on the build, your style is instantly recognisable and it is excellent all around. However, in terms of presentation, the first two pictures appear rather grainy. I am not quite sure if it is due to the texture of the new background or something else, but it is a shame, as the presentation has always been one of your very strong points. And don't get me wrong, it is still excellent photography, but the grainy look is a shame. In Danish, we have a saying: "Thief thinks everybody steals..." Just saying...

Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol. 5, Issue 4)
Bregir replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Anyone can build - and if you can get foreigners to do it, that would be ok too. You would then simply be contracting someone to do the repairs. :D -
