[OL-FB] Large Wooden Fort in Tarlor
natesroom replied to CapOnBOBS's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
how did you do the angling on the front panels? I cant tell if your using wood 1x4 in between the 1x2 normal and how those connected. -
what molds are you talking about??
-
i dont know how you guys do it, where do the ideas come from and where you start... Excellent Work.

Here are some photos of my dilemma, and I want to organize them better. Currently I have all my Castle factions bagged together but all my other figs live inside a container of sorts... as there are many new "castle/fantasy/historic/pirate" CMFs they don't belong to a faction and need to live somewhere. All my loose pieces are in a separate container PXL_20210213_192454860 by Natesroom, on Flickr

I don't foresee ever really doing anything with the Ninja figures that I have, I don't even know when I got them specifically they must have come in some larger set collection or something that I could purchased. Would anyone be willing to trade one for one? I have seven or eight of them plus plus flags and accessories etc.

Oh my bad I will post it there

So this was more informative then i thought, So currently i have Pre Assembled Minifigs that i would call officical (came from a set, or parts that made an exact replica of a figure from a set) then i have extras inside plano containers. I will post photos below and discuss/describe my dilemna.

Awesome,!... Exactly the type of discussion I was looking for lol thanks

Do you guys just put all your minfigs in one bucket or container and then go through them when you need them? If so how do you organize what goes together? the reason i'm asking is the islanders, bluecoats, pirates all kinda go together, then you got POTC and so those are very similar so i put them together, but then you have the spanish conquistadors, do you keep them in the same bucket? I have some french looking swash bucklers and i have him there to. Then i have all the different CMF like the Swiss dude whos dressed very ealy mid 1800's Etc. This may sound weird but i'm having difficulty trying to pin down the organization. This wouldnt be an issue if it was just a dozen, but I'M trying to seperate the western minifigs which seems to include civil war looking figs - those arent "Pirates" right?

Rufus's 375 Yellow Castle Restoration Project
natesroom replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I've personally remade all these shields and many others in Vector Files that I created (or reused some elements i could find and refined) in adobe illustrator. If any wants a PDF to make their own i can share the PDF. Lego-Icons by Natesroom, on Flickr -
2021-02-12_11-21-11 by Natesroom, on Flickr I have these minifigs and i dont forsee doing anything with Ninja themed... I would def be interested in trading 1 for 1 anything castle/Pirate or historic.

If it was Willy Wonka i would support this and would buy this, especially because it seems this might be a 79.99 set (approx) is there any info on the number of Pieces this is? i'm thinking ~1500? I'd probably still buy the Charlie one and make my own conversation, but the ultimate goal would be a willy wonka style one!- 68 replies

I concur, a Willy Wonka version would be great, and i would back it. I never liked the Charlie and the Chocolate factory. but the background and graphics can work well with the orange and green hair oompa loompas...- 68 replies

I do feel like this is more of an Inn with a blacksmith shop under it from outside. Obviously, inside would be to small to be an inn.

Forgotten in Garage - Unopened Castle Sets
natesroom replied to natesroom's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
yeah i meant to build the LOTR goblin king, but forgot because of the moving. The Kingdoms Joust, i purposely bought 2 sets one to build and one to keep with the possibility of combining them. -
Yeah this was probably 5-6 years ago. I def filled like 3 or 4 cups. i think i got like 50 or so.

Sometimes you just wait for the Pick a Brick at your local lego store for leaves and horses... Horses and horses by Natesroom, on Flickr

I think many many historic lego fans want to build factions, not just army building. we want more diversity in being able to build different and unique factions complete with armies, unique features for them (i.e. buildings, etc)

nice work id love to see that! -
So my lego collection has been in boxes in my garage for at least 5 years over two moves to my final place now. My wife got me some legos for christmas (first time in 5 years) Of course now i want to go through my boxes and find and remember what i had. I know i had Kingdoms Joust having purchased 2 of them 1 to play and one for future... Imagine my surprise when i found these also... Forgotten collection by Natesroom, on Flickr I dont even remember buying the other ones.
-
I can't for the life of me figure out why I was keeping these boxes is there any reason why I would want to keep these? I was going through my old collection which has been in storage for 5 years and I have a whole bunch of boxes https://flic.kr/p/2kx6isF
-
Haha yes and no, i knew Black seas barracuda was in some of my boxes, but i just thought people would like to share the joy and coolness when opening and seeing one of your favorite sets waiting to be rebuilt.
