I, Nariek Francis, of the Kaliphlin Guild, am ready to join Nocturnus and Avalonia in the fight against the Drow. I believe the Drow's threat must be put to a stop as soon as possible. I'm beginning my journey to aid in Nocturnus.

I've seen those at TRU in Canada. They're pretty cool, I might buy one for the tiles... I don't have a DS though.

As promised, here's NRG Jay! Sorry, it's really dark here as I'm taking pictures, but I hope they're good enough for now! If needed, I can upload more tomorrow. I really love this minifig! And I just realized how AWESOME the artwork on the trading cards is. I'd like to frame a big picture of the NRG Jay trading card artwork. NRG Jay is now one of my favourite minifigs, quite possibly my favourite official one! I don't have time to watch the show as much as I'd like to, though. Anyway, enough yakkity-yakking from me. Your thoughts?

My local Wal-Mart had NRG Jay, Kai, and Cole, and a snake booster pack. I was too excited by the NRGs to check which snake. The prices are a rip-off, so I only bought NRG Jay, and WOW! He is AWESOME!!!!! I'd say he's my new favourite (official) minifig! Everything about him is just awesome. I'll probably be picking up NRG Cole soon too. I'll post pics of him later tonight.

I'll clarify a little bit: I think we should help Nocturnus. So does Reina. I'm not saying we shouldn't help, I'm saying I don't want Reina to help because I don't want her in any danger. Glad you like the picture/painting! Thanks, I love writing. I agree about the roof but I was feeling a little bit lazy when I built it I guess.

A prologue for my next story is up. Meet at the cottage Let me know what you think!

I sat on the roof of the cottage, with my best friend since childhood, Reina Oakheart. How could she not see that I'd fallen in love with her? When I was a child, I met Reina. We'd collided while secretly exploring a forest in Avalonian territory. We had promised to keep it a secret, and we started meeting more often. Before long, we were best friends. She knew me like the back of her hand. I trusted her with a great many secrets. She was artistic, a painter. We loved exploring together, and I always played my guitar for her. One day, we decided we needed somewhere to meet, somewhere that inspired her with her art, and me with my music. We staked out an area near the Avalonia border, where we could see forests, hear birds, smell sweet flowers. It was perfect. We built a cottage, but soon ran out of wood. We used stones, sand, anything we could find to build a small shelter. It didn't look great, but to us it was a castle. I presented Reina with a beautiful gem to use as a door handle. Like I said, it was perfect Now, years later, I realize I love her. She seems oblivious to my feelings, but she knows me too well for that. So why won't she talk to me about it? On this particular day, we were sitting on the roof of our cottage. She painted as I strummed my guitar. “What do you think of these happenings with the Drow?” She asked. “I don’t see why we’re sitting idly by and not helping Nocturnus,” I replied. “Kaliphlin traders think war’s good for the economy, but they’re selfish. War could tear Historica apart.” “None should ever stop you from doing what you think is right,” said Reina, “Do what you feel in your heart.” I pondered that for some time, before telling her, “I had a vision come to me in my dreams.” “Of what?” Reina’s interest was captured. As I described it, she worked feverishly to capture the vision in a painting. There was a fiery land, like the realm of Hell itself. Completely black beings of darkness came streaming from its depths. They were attacking, invading a brighter place. Heaven, it seemed. The beings of light, guardians, were struggling to fight them off. They were fighting a losing battle. Her painting depicted it perfectly. “But what does it mean?” I inquired. “I can’t believe that it’s just a random occurrence. It has to mean something!” “A prediction of what’ll come from the war.” Reina said grimly. “I’m sure that’s what it is.” “Promise me you won’t get involved.” I pleaded. “I won’t bear it if something happens to you.” “I’ll do what my duty as a Kaliphlin requires.” She said. “I’ll make no promises.” “If you’re planning anything dangerous, I’m coming.” I said. “That’s not an option.” She smiled, shook her head, and began painting again. I picked up my guitar. Suddenly all of the chords seemed haunting. -Nariek Francis To be continued... Dextrus Flagg definitely vacations in style! If we went to war at sea, could it be re-designed as a warship? No-one would want to battle that, even as a vacation ship it looks mighty!

@maydayartist: Woah! That's a ton of bricks! Congratulations on getting so many, I'm guessing LUGBulk? What're ya planning on making? Or maybe that's a secret. How much did you spend on that?

It's still got an Elf and a Mummy, it's good enough for me. I don't mind about the Space Villian because it's not important to me, but I am dissapointed about the Fisherman's colour changes. I'll still buy it though.

1x Series 6 CMF, just an impulse buy. I didn't feel the packs and I got the Skater Girl. Some people can't find Series 6 anymore but here there's tons of them!

Is there any way you could post a close-up of the apron you made for the waitress?

I do like it better than LOTR, and Castle's one of my favourite themes! I'm only buying LOTR as medieval parts packs to increase my Castle collection! I'm sure almost everyone who follows this thread regularly will like MF better. Now post that you like it better in the LOTR 2012 thread...then you might have a lot of mad AFOLs on your tail.

This deserves more comments! It looks very realistic, the first time I saw it I didn't think it was Lego! It gives the exact feeling of a Swedish house, good job.

Another project with cardboard/paper, eh? Are these sails custom or official Lego pieces? I like this too, and I'd definitely buy it if it were a set. Something about the railing makes me like it a lot!

Wow! That's just plain huge and awesome! I'm impressed by all that Technic work going on inside the balloon. The paper and cardboard is a great solution, too. I'll support this!
