  1. "Thanks for those kind words Nur!" Maurice Ratibor was pleased. What he lacked in fighting skill he seemed to make up in interrogation. He put the half of the globe together with the rest, now they had collected one red globe, one black globe and 2 halves of a brown globe. Maurice wondered how many of these there were, they knew of at least one more which was guarded by those gargoyles. "When you are finished with questioning these rascals Erdathcath, I think we should quickly search the other classrooms here on the floor and then follow the boys out to the Entrance Hall. I'm not going to tell your parents but I can't leave out your part in tonight's events in my report to the provost, do you understand?"
  2. "Ly? That's some stupid nickname for Lyren I presume, ain't that right young master Hinckwell? Your story doesn't explain how you got in here to night. All doors were looked from the inside so how did you get in without help?" "And you Nute, or should I say Nuitan? Yes, I know quite a lot about the different families here in Eubric so don't try and fool me boy. What is that talk about somebody missing? Tell us all about it or a word or two about your mischiefs might reach that light-shy dad of your or maybe your elder sister Umbra, I'm sure she would be very interested about your close relationship with that Hinckwell boy."
  3. "You boys are into a lot of trouble right now. What are you up to here at the Academy at this time of the night? Speak quickly or I will let Jensen and his bat loosen your tongues."
  4. Star Wars stuff, not important.
  5. I believe a mistake have slipped in the riddle for Quest #7 the Arena: If the statement "Jess and Haldor will end up together" is true, shouldn't the statement "Jess and Haldor will not end up together" be false? And therefore making the statement "No two heroes are held across from each other" be true? But since there happened to be a hero in cell F I guess that means the "not" wasn't supposed to be there?
  6. "Yes, I finally managed to hit someth... oh... you had already finished them of, Nur." "I'll give an Ice bomb each to Alf and Erdathcath. Now that I think of it, are these bomb useful against undead? In that case you guys can help too in case we encounter even more of these spectres." "Now lets follow those two youths that was sneaking into that classroom. Agreed?"
  7. I'm looking forward to my next battle round, so far I've had 5 and not managed to hit an enemy a single time! If this doesn't change soon I must consider the possibilities of being cursed or have chosen the wrong deity.
  8. "That strange hair... Where have I seen that before?" "Oh no, more undead ghosts! I really hope I will be able to help in this battle since it's only me and Nur who will be able to hurt them. I'll try and heal Spectre A uhm.. the first Spectre from the back row." (they are both named Spectre A ) Battle order: En Salah Nur Maurice Ratibor The rest will serve as mental support
  9. Technically, lions actually lived in Europe too, at least until the Roman period and there are still lions in Asia.
  10. "Absolutely fantastic! Let's continue up to the second floor now and see if we can find anything." Maurice take one of the helmets and puts it on. With his bad luck in the fighting so far it was reassuring that he know had a bit more protection. The smell of steel also brought back a lot of memories for him but he decided to push them away for now.
  11. Maurice couldn't understand what he was doing wrong. This far he had not been able to land a single hit on an enemy. Had his blessing from Ennoc abandoned him? "Good job comrades! Keep it up!" he shouted to his team mates. "Since I can't seem to hit anything anyway I'll target Living Armour C from the back row." "Alf, get the Living Armour A from the front row! Erdathcath, you cover him from the back row!" "Jensen, I'll take care of those wounds for you when we are finished here. Now I need you to attack Armour F from the front row." "Nur, I trust you continue your attack on Armour E. You are doing a great job! Just don't use the spell Piertotum Locomotor. Battle order: En Salah Nur Alf Gregory Erdathcath Malinidas Jensen Maurice Ratibor
  12. Go with your first feeling is an old known trick. I think I will honour that one and Vote: Dorothea (darthnihilius) for the second time during these horrible days.
  13. "Oh no! Look what you did, Alf!" Living up to his role as party leader, Maurice starts to hand out orders: "I, Maurice Ratibor, will attack Living Armour A from the front row. Erdathcath will attack Living Armour B from the back row. Jensen will attack Living Armour C from the front row. Alf will attack Living Armour D from the front row." Battle order: Jensen Erdathcath Madilinas En Sabah Nur Alf Gregory Maurice Raitbor
  14. It was an outrageous decision by the judges! I will begin with praising the crown, I'm sure a lot of trial and error went before the final outcome I think you chose a great theme for your MOC, Nordic mythology is the coolest! But something I've wondered since I first saw this MOC is how does Loki look up close?
  15. Darn, I really thought we had got the right one yesterday. Maybe I should have stayed with my first intuition instead but that's hard to say.
  16. What blood? Didn't you see how pale he was?
  17. "Hm, better be careful here. Jensen! Is there another way up to the second floor of the west wing? Maybe from the Observatory?"
  18. "Aha, another globe!" "I will take care of that one too I think. Alf and Nur gets a potion each." Maurice heard the mage inquire the night guard about his work. Sure, you could serve the town as a guard but it was at Heroica you could really make a difference. Even though he was at his first quest, Maurice felt that it was there he belonged. "I say we continue to the end of the hallway and find the stairs up to the next floor."
  19. The night guard seemed to know how to use that bat, Maurice observed. Good to have him on the team. "I think we should search the rooms along this hallway, it wouldn't do any good if we happened to miss an orb or globe."
  20. Now, what are you implying here?
  21. "We have encountered several spiritual beings who seem to be behind all this mess. Spectres, gargoyles and those sorts of things. It's not safe to walk alone, you should come with us as we search the other rooms." "We also came upon an old ghost claiming to be the first provost of the Academy, Bohring the Enlightened. He told us of a puzzle protecting something called the Meteor Blade. I believe we must collect a number of globes that belongs to the observatory but are now shattered around the academy to get access to it. We got 1½ so far and know of two more halves. I got a vague idea that this blade might be what we need to destroy the evil that lurks here."
  22. "It might be hard to believe but we think you were petrified by a giant snake. We found you all cold and still like a stone and used a remedy on you to bring you back. You don't remember anything from what happened tonight?"
  23. "Aye, good thinking Nur. I will try and use my remedy on Jensen." Maurice became more and more impressed by the mage and his vast knowledge and observation. Having an experienced hero amongst them had really been proved much useful.
  24. "This is outrageous! First there were only scribbles on the walls and vandalism, now there are demons and undeads walking in the corridors and snakes that petrifies innocent, hard working night guards." "I don't want to disgrace Jensens body, but I think we really need his keys to be able to access the Faculty office. So I want to search him."
  25. Let's discuss it at the end of the quest. We might find more good stuff...
