  1. "Oh it was the same stairs, my bad! " "I say we go towards the Planetarium via the Library and the Atrium and listen during the way for the cries and make up where they come from."
  2. Yay! Go town! Mattilda and Barnabo, I need to thank you specially for the great cooperation we had! To bad I didn't managed to hang in there until the end. And a big thank you again to badboytje88 for a great Mafia game, a circus was a great setting for the game I think with so many awesome personalities.
  3. Dammit, I really need one of those!
  4. "The fifth globe is the only one missing to complete the puzzle in the Planetarium. I think we should take these stairs up and see where we get, if it's close to the Planetarium I suggest we go there and solve the puzzle before we set out to find what caused the scream." "Alf, I see that you are confused about where we are but don't worry. Down here in sewers we can't relay on maps but only our sense of direction and instincts, or as in this case our senses of smell and sound."
  5. "Right, I'll heal En Salah Nur at the cost of 1 ether."
  6. "Thanks for finishing them off, Nur! That saved me from even more humiliation." "Alf, one potion for you since you had to use one during the battle. We seem to be quite well equipped with potions now except for Jensen so I think he should have one as well (after all, he had 3 critical hits in a row ), if another battle comes he is better prepared then. Nur, I know you are a bit sceptical about strange gems, but I want you to keep hold of this Aquamarine one as well. After the quest is over maybe one of us is interested in it." "Alf and Nur, would you like me to heal you before we continue? Now that we aren't under attack I'm confident that I will be able to perform a successful healing."
  7. Maurice's sad thoughts left him when he suddenly remebered that he was in the middle of a battle. "Oh right, battle order as follows: Alf Gregory Jensen Erdathcath Madilinas En Salah Nur Maurice the Unlucky
  8. "A splendid idea! I support it wholeheartedly! I could try to heal you but...yeah, better take a potion. Jensen, you sure know how to handle that bat. Lets continue to bash those Ally Gators (Bright Green) from the fornt row. I will swing my mace in the general direction of the sewer troll, hopefully distracting him a bit so that Nur can get a hit." Maurice couldn't help to wonder if he has chosen the wrong career. He suddenly remember what he had heard on the street on his way to the Academy yesterday. A hairy glass-blower had mentioned his name he thought, but then he realized that it had been a different cleric named Ratabor that was spoken about. Apparently that cleric lived of selling his own tears, maybe that was a more fitting career to focus on for Maurice as well...
  9. "Didn't you learn anything from last time I decided for you? But I do think it's best if you attack the Ally Gator (Dark Green) from the front row. "
  10. "Ouch, maybe we should switch targets Alf so that you don't get knocked out by another hit. Attack the dark green Ally Gator and I'll attack the Sewer Troll from the front row in this round. Or, hm... well, at least I will try to attack him but we all know how that will end." "Jensen, keep hitting that dark green Ally Gator from the front row. One more of those critical hits and it's down." Battle order, same as last time unless someone wants a change: Jensen Alf Gregory En Salah Nur Erdathcath Madilinas Maurice Ratibor
  11. "Right, then me and Jensen will attack the other Ally Gator (Dark Green) from the front row. Alas, I think Nur used our only fire bomb to defeat the Magic Mirror and thus saved us all." Battle order: Jensen Alf Gregory En Salah Nur Erdathcath Madilinas Maurice Ratibor
  12. "Some bad smells have never killed anyone right?" says Maurice before he doubles over and throws up "Uuuh, but someone must be the first I guess. I am willing to continue though, the source of the stench might be of interest to our quest. Maybe Alf and Nur should drink their meads (if the effect lasts until the next battle, I'm not sure of how that works), the taste of that might take your minds of the smell."
  13. Yes, the end is nigh. Confess your sins and ransack your souls, abandon your heathen numbers and leave yourself in the hands of 3001.
  14. Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Three Thousand and One.
  15. Don't worry, it's not exactly the same and I use it as last name (took it from a Wendish king). I found it really funny with the unlucky part though since I have had one successful hit during 15 rounds of battle so far. ...
  16. "Yes Alf, the directions was solvable with some simple logic. Since the staircase we descended on was a spiral staircase we should have moved much in any direction except downwards, therefore landing in the sewers approximately right beneath the Library. If then left took us beneath the East wing, aka. south , then right should take us north, towards the Auditorium."
  17. Haha! A cleric without luck named Ratabor? Well well well, mr WBD where did you get inspiration to that character?
  18. (Sorry for not being present during these exciting moments) "Poor Isabeau! I hope we will be able to find out who or what killed her. I think we should head back and try the right way."
  19. "I have no idea how to proceed from here. No traps, no globe, just those whispering voices under the floor. I guess that would mean they come from the sewers. I really see no other option but to take our chances with the secret door at the Faculty Office but if any of you got better idea, please try it."
  20. "That was on the second floor of the East wing, but we heard him later in the Faculty Office."
  21. "Without the Meteor Blade? I don't know what is hiding down there except this talk about a giant snake, but I sure would have felt much better if I knew we had the blade with us." "But maybe you are right. We don't seem to be getting anywhere here at the moment. Maybe the last globe piece has been taken by the snake down to the sewers."
  22. "I feel a bit lost. And these whispering voices are making me really nervous. Does anyone have any idea what to do?"
  23. "I think not, there is something missing here. I fear we overlooked something in the Auditorium. We migth need to return there and search it more carefully. Now that we know that we are looking for a sun-like globe we might actually find it. I remember that the stained glass window had a centre piece in it that looked quite interesting." "Can we go back there and use a magnifying glass on the stained glass window and see if that hold some secret?"
  24. Land-living creatures?
  25. "Good work with those bombs, saved us a lot of trouble. I will heal everyone except Alf who is already nearly full health thanks to his barbarian traits. Then I'm going to drink one of the tonics and dived the rest of them equally between me and Nur." Maurice then sat down to study the badly damaged piece of parchment. After not too long he managed to come up with a suggestion. "Let's see, the planet closest to the sun is named Belvel and I think it says that Belvel and Spyrium are the same size. That would mean those are either red and black or brown and grey. The fourth planet is pitch black I think it says. The radiant planet, hm, that must mean the red one I think, is rotating in the same direction as our own, That means those planets can't be adjacent in the system. And Galidoor is similar to our own planet with water, well the only two planets with water are the brown and grey so it must be one of them. Which means the Belvel and Spyrium planets are red and black, and that means Belvel must be red since the fourth planet is black. Our own planet must then be third in the row since it can't be next to Belvel. Finally, the brown planet often blocks the sun which means it must be nearer the sun then us, making it Galidoor. Our own grey planet might be this Olegaia that is mentioned in this book, scientists are always coming up with complicated names for simple things. What wrong with Earth? Exofors is probably not in this model, maybe it wasn't even discovered back when Bohring lived and made this puzzle." The team hurries back to the Planetarium and tries the combination, from the sun and out: Red globe, Brown globe, Grey globe, Black globe.
