  1. I wonder if she would been seen as unattractive by other orcs, she doesn't have any fangs! But yeah, it's one of few good uses for the LL minifig. Oh, and if Maurice ever becomes he a Paladin I imagine his angel would a cranky old lady! K-nut: You were probably thinking of this one by robuko, right? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=65481
  2. I'll move the discussion to something more fun. Awesome angel for Cronk! I'm sure High Priestess Alisameth is very proud.
  3. He's a great character so I shamelessly borrowed him! I think the QMs should use more of each others NPCs if they can, it ties together the quests nicely.
  4. Thank you! I'll post the objectives for the side quests here: Jedi master Brick's side quest This happened in the start of the quest when the party was on its way to the harbour. When the party was walking through the town to get to the harbour they got split up in the Fishmarket because it was so crowded with people. While looking for his companions Elgar noticed another familiar face: "Elgar Gligin! So good I found you! I heard you were going north to the island of Moone on a quest set up by the Paladin Order, right? Good for you! Do you think you could help me with one thing? I've heard tales about a mystic crystal goblet from that area. It has the powers to produce the most amazing potions if used correctly. If you happen to come upon it during your adventure I would be eternally grateful if you would bring it back to me. I'll reward you greatly if you succeed." Ratabor Mossycloak then leaves and Elgar shoves his way down to the harbour where he meets up with the rest of the party. If Elgar manage to find the Crystal Goblet and bring it back to Eubrick and Ratabor Mossycloak, he will get an extra level of experience and 50 gold. This is an optional side quest that does not need to be completed to pass the main quest, but works as a bonus. soccerkid6's side quest This one happened when the party first came to the village of Jernel. When the heroes stop at the small houses in the forest clearing, Sir Glorfindel hears a whisper from the back of the chicken farmer's house. "Psst, Sir Knight. Come here!" Sir Glorfindel goes to back and sees that the whisperer is another peasant. "Well met, Sir Knight! Are you here to free us from the monster that has terrorized our village? What? The Paladin Order in Tanco? Those are too busy and supercilious to care about us peasants. We need your help! A monster has regularly come down from the mountains and taken our cattle and livestock. The worst is that he is immortal, we have killed him several times and he still returned every next full moon. His power is probably a work of Helvetia, the cold Goddess of Winter and undead. It is rumoured that a relic of her was kept in a small shrine in the mountains, maybe the monster somehow came in possession of this relic, a crystal goblet called the Frostheart Chalice. Please help us, Sir Knight, find the goblet and destroy it! There is a path to the mountains if you go north from here, take right when the path splits." If Sir Glorfindel manage to find the Frostheart Goblet and destroy it, he will get an extra level of experience and 50 gold. This is an optional side quest that does not need to be completed to pass the main quest, but works as a bonus. Thanks! The Holy water is a nice idea, but I prefer to keep the Blessed effect uncontrollable by the players. Easier for the QM to use it then. I think the Blessed effect could be useful in other quest too, any god or godess could be the one to bless the heroes. Thank you, no problem. Good to finish of with some nice roleplaying.
  5. "Well, good luck then, Cronk. May the Righteous Light always shine upon you."
  6. "Dear Cronk, I'm sure Ennoc, the Righteous Light, would be honoured to have such a honourable and just knight as you in his ranks. Your actions speak for itself and that is all that matters. But, you need to be aware that this is my belief and there are several in the Order that don't share them, I'm sure you've met some already. The life as a Paladin Orc will not be easy and you will face resistance and oppression along your way. Are you sure you want to go through with that?"
  7. Thanks, Luckily I had enough battles to get you to lvl 15 anyway.
  8. "Oh, that's bad news! I guess my patient will have to search for help somewhere else, I heard they might have an old recipe as a backup plan. I'm sorry but I can't give you your reward now, Elgar." Elgar Gligin fails to accomplish the side quest of bringing the Crystal Goblet to Ratabor Mossycloak. A disappointed Elgar joins the other heroes and together they continue up to the Temple of Ennoc where they get to meet the High Priestess Alisameth. "Well met again heroes of Heroica! And thank you for your assistance in Tanco. Yes, I already know about your part in the battle. I received a message with a carrier pigeon from Lord Kapriel in Tanco where he wrote that you defended the walls of Tanco most successfully while himself and his battalion finally gave the enemy its coup de grâce. You have certainly did all what we asked for and therefore you can now receive your reward. Here is a total of 250 gold and a holy bomb each for you. Thank you once again for your work! May you always walk in the Light!" 250 Gold Holy Bomb x5– Causes 5 points of light-elemental damage to all enemies, doubled if the target is weak to light. I'm just gonna asume you split that equally. The heroes have now accomplished Quest #16: The Paladin Conquest. Congratulations! The End
  9. Preferably not. Just hang on a little bit longer and we are soon finished.
  10. "I feel both lucky and blessed! I will attack Automaton Delta from the front row!"
  11. The party takes the path through the forest down to the beach. This time the walk goes much faster and the path doesn't seem to wind as much as last time. When they reach the beach they meet a familiar face: "Hello heroes! Have you had a good adventure? We are ready to sail as soon as you are on board." When the party is back on the ship Feather Breeze Captain O'Leon gives the order to raise the sails and the ship sets course towards Eubric. Some days at seas goes by with not much happening, except some trading amongst the heroes: Cronk (Played by CorneliusMurdock) Level 16 Knight Power: 27 Health: 25/25 (SP: 6) Gold: 285 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (Long Sword) (WP: 11, Light Damage, suitable for Cronk), Sword of Bashing (WP: 5), Mockthrill Shield (SP: 4), Potion (2), Bedroll, Bloody Pointy Stick (WP:1), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2) Sir Glorfindel (Played by soccerkid6) Level 11.5 Knight Power: 16 Health: 20/20 Gold: 312 Inventory: Captain's Sword (WP:5), Pongcanis Shield (SP:3) equipped, Lion Shield (SP:2), Bedroll, Potion (1), Fire bomb, Bone (2) Sir Leo Aragon (Played by JediAnakin) Level 13.5 Knight Power: 20 Health: 22/22 Gold: 298 Inventory: Burning Draken Sword (WP:7, Fire elemental), Paladin Shield (SP:5), Potion (3), Bedroll, Shovel, Bone, Ringil a sword (hollow blade with mead, Ice Elemental WP:3) Elgar Gligin (Played by Jedi master Brick) Level 10 Ranger Power: 14 Health: 15/15 Gold: 320 Inventory: Mockthril crossbow (WP:4 Lightning elemental), Smoke bomb, Bedroll, Remedy (2), Orc venom, Venom, Steel pointed Spear (WP:4), Necklace with Animal Teeth Tomas (Played by Captain Tamamoro) Level 15 Cleric Power: 21 Health: 24/24 Ether: 4/20 Gold: 411 Inventory:Shadeaux Staff (WP: 6), Gold Staff (WP: 4), Pongcanis Staff (WP: 5), 3 Remedies, 2 Bedrolls, 1 Tonics, Bone, Grand Tonic, Shovel, Mead, Venom, Smoke Bomb, Topaz Elemental Gem, Smelling Salts, Common Axe (WP:5), Healing Staff (WP:5, healing effect), Captain's Shield (SP:3 Busy with the trading the heroes doesn't notice how the time and miles flies by and is quite surprised by the call from the crow's nest on the fourth day: "Land O'hoy!" The ship slowly navigates into the harbour in Eubric and Captain O'Leon comes up from his cabin after another nap to say farewell to the party. "Yawn...Well, I hope the trip as been pleasant, heroes. You are welcome to come back for a lift any time, but you better remember to bring that transportation paper next time. Good luck in your next adventures!" The heroes thank Captain O'Leon and leaves the ship. The set course for the Temple of Ennoc in the Northen part of the city but close to the Fishmarket a person stops them. Some members in the party instantly recognize the sombre fellow with his dark green cape. "Hello heroes! Elgar, did you manage to retrieve the Crystal Goblet that I ask you about? I really need it to be able to heal a very important person here in Eubric, she has been sick for quite sometime now and that special goblet might be her only hope!" Elgar, how will you answer Ratabor Mossycloak?
  12. Those hairs are really easy to feel the difference of, the girl's hair has all of those ridges on it, while the highlander has an all smooth hair (and not as broad as the girl's). I find that searching for only one special piece often takes too long. Better to learn all of the pieces and therefore be able to recognize the minifig faster.
  13. Tomas heals Sir Glorfindel and Cronk back to full health at the cost of 2 ether. Cronk (Played by CorneliusMurdock) Level 16 Knight Power: 27 Health: 25/25 (SP: 6) Gold: 235 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (Long Sword) (WP: 11, Light Damage, suitable for Cronk), Sword of Bashing (WP: 5), Mockthrill Shield (SP: 4), Potion (2), Bedroll, Bloody Pointy Stick (WP:1), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2) Sir Glorfindel (Played by soccerkid6) Level 10.5 Knight Power: 13 Health: 19/19 Gold: 232 Inventory: Captain's Sword (WP:5), Ringil a sword (hollow blade, Ice Elemental WP:3),Pongcanis Shield (SP:3) equipped, Lion Shield (SP:2), Bedroll, Potion (1), Fire bomb, Bone (2) Tomas (Played by Captain Tamamoro) Level 15 Cleric Power: 21 Health: 24/24 Ether: 4/20 Gold: 361 Inventory:Shadeaux Staff (WP: 6), Gold Staff (WP: 4), Pongcanis Staff (WP: 5), 3 Remedies, 2 Bedrolls, 1 Tonics, Bone, Grand Tonic, Shovel, Mead, Venom, Smoke Bomb, Topaz Elemental Gem, Smelling Salts, Common Axe (WP:5), Healing Staff (WP:5, healing effect), Captain's Shield (SP:3 The party then takes left a the split and realize that this is the place where they fought the infinitive number of Battle Ants. They hurry quickly away from the horrifying place and soon arrive in Jernrel were a anxious farmer meets them. "Oh, Sir Knight you are back! Did you kill the monster? And did you remember to destroy the Frostheart Chalice as well? You did? That is great news! Thank you so much, Sir Knight! And thanks to your friends as well! Here is you gold as promised." The farmer hands Sir Glorfindel 50 gold and suddenly the knight feels like he has just won a great battle. Sir Glorfindel is rewarded 1 level of experience for completing the side quest of destroying the Frostheart Chalice. Sir Glorfindel (Played by soccerkid6) Level 11.5 Knight Power: 14 Health: 20/20 Gold: 282 Inventory: Captain's Sword (WP:5), Ringil a sword (hollow blade, Ice Elemental WP:3),Pongcanis Shield (SP:3) equipped, Lion Shield (SP:2), Bedroll, Potion (1), Fire bomb, Bone (2) Is there anything the party wish to do in Jernel or do they want to continue down to the beach and head back to Eubric?
  14. Cronk pokes the werewolf with his Pointy Stick but the only thing that happens is that the stick gets bloody. Cronk now has a Bloody Pointy Stick (WP:1) Cronk (Played by CorneliusMurdock) Level 16 Knight Power: 27 Health: 10/25 (SP: 6) Gold: 235 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (Long Sword) (WP: 11, Light Damage, suitable for Cronk), Sword of Bashing (WP: 5), Mockthrill Shield (SP: 4), Potion (2), Bedroll, Bloody Pointy Stick (WP:1), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2) When the party has walked through the pass and continued down the mountains they find themselves in a dark and dense forest. After a short walk their path is split in two. Will the party go left or right?
  15. The heroes decides to destroy the crystal goblet they've found, and Cronk hands it to Sir Leo who has volunteered to smash it with his Fire-elemental sword. But the knights fumbles and the drops the goblet which falls on a rock and the fragile crystal shatters into a million pieces. The goblet is no more. Cronk (Played by CorneliusMurdock) Level 16 Knight Power: 27 Health: 10/25 (SP: 6) Gold: 235 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (Long Sword) (WP: 11, Light Damage, suitable for Cronk), Sword of Bashing (WP: 5), Mockthrill Shield (SP: 4), Potion (2), Bedroll, Pointy Stick (WP:1), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2) The dead body of the werewolf is still laying on the path behind them, nothing indicates that it will come back to life. Do the party wish to continue through the pass in the mountains and down to Jernel now?
  16. "I think I'm the only one with healing abilities in this party so I'm afraid Hybros has to trust his luck this round. But Christopher and our party leader would be able to go for Automaton Beta (once Eric is healed). Or, one of them could target Automaton Delta and Hybros could drink a potion."
  17. "Bombs will wake it up, so I think we should save our bombs for the moment."
  18. "That was a nasty hit you took, Eric! I will heal you from the back row."
  19. "No, they don't work like that. They will damage all enemies but it doesn't count as targeting them. So therefore you will get hit I'm afraid, Hybros."
  20. "With the current actions, Automaton Gamma will get a free hit on Hybros, but since he is standing in the back row he will be fine (10 damage)."
  21. Thanks for the review! I'm also very tempted to get this set, mostly to get the minifig (still a bit too expensive on Bricklink) but I can imagine some uses for the rare colours too.
  22. "Evil machines! I knew we should have smashed that table! But if we throw all our Lightning bombs we can reduce their health to half. I think we have a good chance of destroying these abnormalities. I can put one of them to stand-by sleep with my scroll so it can't attack us for a few rounds as well." Maurice prepares to cast a Spell of Sleep on Tritech Automaton Alpha from the back row.
  23. "Clearly a piece of evil magic! I volunteer to smash it with my mace!"
  24. There haven't been any sets with any flesh bricks, but sometimes they appear on Bricklink: Like other rare colour parts, they usually originates from the model building in LEGOLAND parks.
  25. "A table controlling something? That sounds just crazy to me. Do you mean with magic is some way? Then it must be some sort of dark magic, even more reason to destroy it!"
