You are right, that that is a bit strange. Also the fact that he is dressed like a pirate, but works as cook on an imperial ship?!

How else would one get up there, by teleportation? At least there actually finally IS a ladder, not like in other set where there is nothing at all to get up.

I gotta attach there to Oky Wan, i also don't really see where the western town is <insert that tiresome argument>, let alone that there are basically just shown a part of the mine and a like half of the sheriff's office, so you can't actually tell much from that.

Ever heard of that cannons can be turned over to the other side? Also most of the time i think it's only neccasary to fire from one site anyway, or if not, there can still be 2 cannons at each side. As said before, this is no set of the actual current pirate line, but a special collector's set.

Well, i think there's no doubt that this is the most realisting ship lego has made to date. There's really no doubt for me, if i compare all other ships to this one i just can think that this looks the most realistic. The BSB looks great aswell, but the colour sheme always looked a bit strange to me. The good point is that it is has actual rigging and all that, but still, the new one is much more detailed, plus it has much more interior and play features.

Nobody ever said there won't be new sets in 2010, just that the pirate line will be not continued next year. Also, this is not a set of the usual pirate line, but a special collector's set, which is an own line above all themes.

Yes, there is an organ in the cabin. It's also stated in the text description, and you can see the pipes of it in one picture!

Well for me there's no doubt this is the best ship lego has come up with to date. I mean, it's absolutely beautiful from the look alone, and it got features like a prison, kitchen, and really detailed rooms with nice interior (i mean, when do you get an organ in a lego set?). It's already on place 1 for me!

You're right, at first sight the fig looked different to me, but now i see it's the same. What weapon do you mean?

Btw. has anybody noticed there's 2 new figs in this set? I' talking about the female and the governor (or what it is supposed to be).

What are you talking about? The price in europe is 70 Euros, there's no way it's gonna be 100 dollars for you.

Well, here in austria there also is no sight of the new castle sets in any shops so far. @phoinix: Who ever said that the line will be stopped? They just seem to wanna change the name of it, which actually shows they are interested in continuing it. And also, there are other people, that like the lines of prince of persia and stuff.

We have been blessed with a real big load of new castle sets in the last 3 years, i have no problem if they'd pass out the line for a year now, to be honest. It will for sure be continued, before they close this line, hell would freeze over.

At one side it shows they plan to continue this theme and are interested in investing in it, but on the other hand it's just plain ridiculous to rename it. The only other name i could think of would be "lego medieval", but i really see no point in re-naming it, at all.

I don't get the never ending bitching about why they don't have human vs. human anymore. I'm pretty tired about it. People, Lego is a TOY, do you understand what that means? It mans anything is possible, and when it's rock monsters and octopus people then it shall be that way, why not? It is a toy. I don't get why it should be something worse if they have strange creatures, than if they'd just have humans.

After seeing these new pictures, the helicopter looks a BIT better to me, actually i think it has a pretty good design overall, if there just wasn't these ugly big pieces that build the front and that water bowl thing. If they'd change that to brick built things like the coast guard helicopter had, i think i would buy this set. Also i'm wondering what's inside the helicopter as it seems to have a lot of space, or if it's just full of nothing once again...

This is a new line for 2010, so it's obvious the sets come out in 2010. Nothing other i could say to that

I think i like the vehicle, and the drinking thingy is quite a cool feature, but all in all this still doesn't look even like a set to me at all. The red underground that should be lav i suppose is just random, and also there's no real structure or design of that whole thing from what i see. If this stays that way, i will pass this set.
