  1. I thought you were referring to recolors... misunderstanding could happen.
  2. You can see this part here (just in front of small turntable below drive sprocket and outside of triangle where black linear actuator is)
  3. Higher quantity makes less price per piece but as @nerdsforprez said we have to wait a bit to make more realistic comparison
  4. Perhaps there is indeed 7th function; retractable ladder (there is at least tan 12tooth bevel gear visible)
  5. It is called marketing (market study is part of marketing)
  6. Yes, but I could not find one with attachment that you took picture of...
  7. @howitzer it reminds me on this Deere high speed dozer.
  8. Have I some technical problem, or linear actuators are actually black withdark bluish gray? If so is it perhaps to differentiate size; only smallest is thinner than two bigger ones...
  9. Agree but 2 x 4 beam was probably develop to fit even numbers system I would welcome 4 x 6 beam because I needed it lots of times when building MOCS
  10. But 2 x 4iftarm was introduced in 1999 when chassis were bricks build and not based on liftarms ...and bricks have even numbers dimensions...
  11. Thanks buddy; optimisation has one more benefit - more parts for next MOC. Mostly i look to make machinery that is unordinary and systems tractors are one of them. There are some futuristic concepts that I'm considering to made, but that is the possibility for future. In this MOC there is only one challenge left actually; to make proper sides using panels, but have to fix receiver holders. What I made so far is just placement not finished solution.
  12. Small update; axle optimisation that results with change from 36 tooth to 20 and made chassis more simple and robust.... Any comments are welcome
  13. I know buddy, but brick and pieces are not covering Croatia (as service). I really appreciate your help but I'm stuck a bit for now. Even set is not available here (yet) to see if I can make some deal with few fellows who have bricklink store Kind regards
  14. I'm affraid that on 8858 there is to much gearing in steering system so servo motor could end up not properly returning to center after a while... Kind regards
  15. For differential I have only idea to put itside frame, but honestly I didn't try it...
  16. Lucky for you to have those 81mm tractor tires; I can oy dream of them Your axle modification looks interesting IMHO for one my upcoming project.
  17. My friendly advice is to try to make additional bracing for those gears used with small linear actuator. At least on blue 20 toothe double bevel gear with clutch put bushes and axle with stop instead of pin ...
  18. I agree with you. I'm not a fan of virtual things ... This is the way I see, so I chose also 3rd option
  19. Thank you very much Because it is cloudy today where I live I could find some time to work on it later today, but after after installing battery box and receivers I'll have to test it to see if there is a need to make some changes if something will not end up without desired stiffness.
  20. I see now after re-reading instructions (mobile phone is a bit slow so on Zetros mod few pages didn't show, specially where you use blue axlepin and white pin connector). I'll steal your idea when I swich to harvester project
  21. I see in your conversions that you use PF L-motor like C+ L-motor. I have tries that setup few years ago with m-motor, but after several attempt m-motor got broken so I suggest using white 24 tooth clutch gear with L-motor or stick to servo. Nevertheless it is very kind of you to post those conversations for us whose Lego evolution ended with PF elements.
  22. After several days of absence from LEGO, today I had couple of hours or so time to work on Syn-Trac 420 project and finish drive and steering...but let pictures speak instead of me... (To make it finished I'll need red shocks and dark bluish gray biscuit pieces)
