  1. I've never been a fan of car-planes, but I have to say this is one nifty little creation you have here. The concept is nice, and I like the little step-up on the back of the car (though perhaps it's too big of a step?). Anyway, great work :-)
  2. Now that's impressive. The thing is though, I've never been a fan of slope cliffs. They look too artsy for my tastes. The best cliffs, IMO, are the ones made of 2xX bricks. All those slops look too deliberate, like someone carved them out of the rock. Most mountains aren't jagged, and certainly not that jagged.
  3. Interesting designs, though they look a bit bland. The only Lego SW shirts I've seen up to now has been that promo Chewie in a stormie outfit. I actually got that for free from EB games when I ordered it :-P At least I think it was EB games...
  4. Sounds like what they did with the Cafe Corner as well, and that thing was a work of art *wub* Maybe this is a good sign?
  5. It's a good thing he includes his e-mail on that page, maybe someone who wants a set could e-mail him to work something out...
  6. Very cool X-D You'd think it would be somewhat uncomfortable though...with the sudden drop in height around the studs though... 8-|
  7. You mean blocky and without detail? :-X
  8. C'mon TT, can't you push it up a bit? :-D
  9. I believe he's talking about this: In old brown. If anyone knows where to get rare-colored parts other than bricklink, I'd also be very interested!
  10. Sigh, this reminds me that I really need to build something tan... Excellent idea, and execution as always. Athos, the man of a thousand faces ;-)
  11. That there's a 3 for 2 sale at the Vienna TRU? :-|
  12. Love the Sparrow (no Captain OR Jack :-P). The head sculpt is ingenious, as are the boots. I just wish they could go all the way around the legs.
  13. Nice creation, but I assume you meant for this to go in History and Adventure? I'll move it :-)
  14. "PG Version" of 300 :-P
  15. Oh? That's too bad, I thought we had finally found *yoda*'s home planet :-P
  16. Which is why perhaps this should be closed :-)
  17. Well, minifig scale doesn't always mean real-life scale. The UCS MF is minifig scale, but it's tiny compared to the "real" Falcon. MF scale usually means that minifigs can interact with it, as if it were part of their world. That could mean if there's a small observation room half-way up, it's "minifig scale". Frankly, I'd love to see some french citizens included with it :-D
  18. I think it's because of the nice parts and figs. An old-fashioned skelly (I hope these babies don't go extinct :'-( ), nice crown, golden plate, animals, interesting brown parts, etc. It looks like a nice set, though I'd rather just BL the plate and skelly though, personally ;-)
  19. Let's hope that isn't true! ;-)
  20. Let's not be hasty here. When a parent says "I'm grounding you until you're 30!" they usually mean "a week or two". Just because they say for the rest of your youth doesn't make it so, no need to get upset about it ;-) Edit: Two months younger than you? Which was adopted/came from a previous marriage? o_O
  21. Ah, well for a webcam they're not too bad :-P I assume that your purpose was to show us the set? If so, why not make a quick review? Make sure the room is well lit first though!
  22. This forum is meant more for physical games, using bricks and such. I'd think the Lego SW videogame would go in culture and multimedia, I'll move it there.
  23. It's really hard to see much of anything. The blurryness might be somewhat caused by the low levels of light. When possible, it's always advisable to go outside and take your pictures surrounded by natural sunlight.
