  1. Well, because bricklinking all those parts I'm interested in would more than surpass the price tag. The armor alone will likely cost $1-2US. Then the short sword and new sword? And the visor will cost as much as the armor...not to mention the figures! It's a fantastic army builder for those relatively rare parts at such a lot price. I actually don't care about the flag :-P As for the picture, it didn't seem to bother my computer, but I suppose the quality is a bit high. I'll just change it to a link ;-)
  2. What a lovely gift ;-) Happy Birthday! Hope it's a great one
  3. Vista is bad because of the control you give microsoft. With their DMA agreements, if they find anything on your computer that they don't like (illegal copies of their movies, for instance), they can shut down your computer. For good. All via the internet without any consent other than the "I agree" when you start the computer up or install Vista.
  4. Link Look how beautiful that is *wub* It's a wonderfully cheap way to get multiple copies of the silver pointed visor and euro armor while getting those new swords, two "figs" (one of which will be traded for the standard skelly), the old fashioned short sword, and a boatload of nice parts. I also need to find a good source of red bionicle parts so I'll probably get something from that line as well ;-) And build in a cardboard box on the streets :'-(
  5. Wonderful little set! And some nice parts too :-D Treasure it well, but I'm glad to see it set up in use rather than behind glass. As for the crane, you bought two? Or that was just the size of the set?
  6. Absolutely *wub*
  7. Sigh...it's so long and I won't be able to afford half of it :-/ Star Wars: MTT Sith Infiltrator (for parts) JSF TIE Crawler N1 Fighter Hoth Set Republic Cruiser Imperial Landing Craft X-wing from last year ISD playset from last year Castle: Final Joust x10 Skeleton's Prison Carriage Skeleton Tower (Yeah yeah, but I want the Princess, the figs are nice, the parts will work with Space MOCs, and I'll figure out something to do with the dragon) Mars Mission: Human Dropship Human Miner Tank Town: Cafe Corner *wub* I'll edit as I remember things I forgot
  8. Then why not just buy the decals from him and apply them yourself? :-P He usually sells his work. If all else fails you could always try contacting him about it.
  9. To be honest I'm rather disappointed with the ISD playset (well, from what I've seen, it's the reason I haven't bought it yet!), but if you can get the as for the interceptor...eh, it's another set I've yet to buy :-P I could recommend the clone battle packs though...however they might be severely backordered on S@H. The best deal for your money I'd say is the Aqua Raiders collection (some nice parts there!). The batcave is a really nice set too (great parts, great figs), but I'd say the AR collection is a better deal. The batcave is getting harder to find though...
  10. X-O No more rum while posting for you! :-P
  11. Nah, thanks for the clarification :-) I'll move his post to the "What I bought today" thread
  12. Well, if this is a TRU-wide promotion (and not just at his), this would belong in the Buy/Sell/Trade forums. If not, however, I'll move this to "what did you buy today?" Do you know if this was just at your TRU?
  13. Exactly. So for now, topic closed :-)
  14. And stranger yet that this new poster knew about something that was taken care of in the span of a few hours.
  15. He's in college, so there's not nearly enough alcohol and pot in that picture :-P
  16. A lot of training I bet :-P Brilliant little MOC :-)
  17. Welcom to EB Tom! I'm a fourth year uni student, so I can relate about a lot of what you're saying ;-) As for the Aqua Raiders (not to be confused with Aquaraiders!), are you referring to the Aquazone type ships (which came in yellow as well, largely), or Divers (which was also somewhat yellow)? For reference: Aqua Zone Sets Divers Sets
  18. I'm truly sorry, it's never easy for us to lose a loved one. My grandmother lived with me my whole life...until I was 15 anyway. I'll say a prayer tonight for her and your family :-/
  19. Well, the best way to do this is to search by the parts you want. It really isn't worth it if you just want a few pieces. You should, ideally, wait until you find multiple parts you want from the same seller. This might require doing some comparison shopping (i.e.: this lot of parts would cost this price from this seller, whereas it would cost this price from this seller). The trick is also in their quantity. Also, if you want FEW bricks, try to find sellers that provide free shipping, though they usually have a (low) minimum amount that you must first spend. Sorry if I wasn't clear with everything, feel free to ask about anything you're unclear with
  20. What a marvelous trailer. I haven't seen the first two, but I might have to now. But Jack died?
  21. This was made while I was away! That's why I didn't see it before *wacko* Beautiful work, I especially love the arm bands 8-
  22. Admiral 4J to Commado WF: I was under the impression that your training was completed! Weren't you given an examination and a T.I.E. to pilot to record your personal statistics and vitals? I'll need to talk to someone about this...in the meantime take your testing. We're currently looking for GM *yoda* in our sector of the Outer Rim. There is a Rebel instillation nearby, if we attack it I expect you to be prepared for combat.
  23. Did you read the first post at all? Or the topic title? :-|
  24. What a fascinating contraption! I've never heard of the Great Ball Contraption before, it's an interesting concept. It looks like you've done a fantastic job with this *y*
  25. Three years now? What kept you? :-D Welcome to EB, I'd show you around, but I'm sure you know your way :-P
