  1. It's a minor change, so it shouldn't be a problem ;-)
  2. Yeah, that was mentioned 2 or 3 times in this thread already...
  3. Seriously what's your problem? Knock the rude attitude off now >:-( Got it? And I'd post it at FBTB, but I'm not a member there :-D We have a bunch of members there though, so I'm sure someone will. But whoa, that auction is low! It's a steal *wub*
  4. It's going to be flat, but with 4 fins (one at each corner), giving a front-profile of:
  5. I think it's also the words I used that really threw everyone (including me) off :-D When I say the engines are internal, I mean the power generators. The "engines" (what I call the thrusters) are on the outside, and protected somewhat by large flaps on either side of the ship. Well, originally I was, however due to the sheer number of gears that are connected, I feel it should be able to hold a decent amount of weight on it's own. Unless I specifically turn the knob in the back, it shouldn't move on it's own, even with some figs or a tank on there. Did I mention how much I appreciate you? *wub*
  6. Did you see the first post...about collecting bricks...and the number of bricks, and all that? :-|
  7. Well said, Asuka. I agree with you completely, however this hasn't been the first time something like this has happened. Thanks for taking the time to type this, EB's resident negotiator X-D
  8. It can, I never said it can't. You asked for why I said what I said. In my opinion a MOC needs what I listed, which is why I said so. You can make it run on magic for all I care, but that doesn't mean I need to like it, right? Also, you asked for fragile techniques. I listed one, that's all there is to it. But again, this thread, and the subject being talked about isn't your MOC. It's about Saber-scorpion's. There's the old phrase which you apparently never heard. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.". I'm sure you're rolling your eyes at that, but it's true. People improve with constructive criticism, and there's nothing constructive, or kind, about "His stuff isn't so great, I could do better".
  9. Funny, you say you want to drop it, but then ask for a reply... See those hands? See the binocs in the claw grip? That's very fragile in comparison to regular connections. Knock into it wrong and the hand goes flying off. How do I know? I've tried that connection myself.
  10. I said I'm not impressed with your MOCs for two reasons: 1. They aren't that impressive to me. They're fragile, they make extensive use of techniques which damage the parts, and they don't have any realism to them. Ships and mecha need power sources. 2. If you can go around constantly berating other's MOCs, you should be fully well prepared to hear the same about yours. I'm sure there are many out there who are biting their lips, but haven't said anything because they're too nice. But the fact is you're not so great that you can go around saying your MOCs are better than anyone else, or even that you're a great builder. And frankly your behavior towards others is sickening. And is this persecution, calling you out when you've pissed off not only other members, but an admin at another forum who signed up specifically so he could defend his own creations? That just crosses the line. And you didn't just say "his aren't the best in the world", which would have been bad enough, and entirely uncalled for. You said nothing but negatives about them, THEN came in with some self-serving advertisement of your own "skills". There was nothing right about what you did, and what you're continuing to do.
  11. You weren't referring to his Halo MOCs. Was in response to I don't see anything about Halo MOCs. All he said was Saber-scorpion makes great MOCs and decals, and you had to reply, for whatever reason, specifically to say you do better. There's no excuse for that.
  12. I can find all four if you'd like me to. The simple fact is, don't dish it out if you can't take it. If you're gonna be an megablocks to everyone, don't expect one bit of kindness to come your way. Because he specifically addressed you. Also, we talked in PM. That good enough? So because it was a month ago means you've changed? Despite all your cries of reformation, you're the exact same childish kid you've been since you registered. Actually I responded before your EDIT saying you wanted to drop it. But just because you want something doesn't mean you can always weasel out of it. Nobody can make you do something you don't want to. You give kindness? I have yet to see you post anything that's kind. You don't have to candy-coat anything, but saying "My stuff is better than his" is just arrogant and rude. And hostility towards your bad behavior makes you less inclined to help or be kind at all? Then you don't need to be a member here, do you? If you're not gonna "candy coat" anything, why should I?
  13. Because you said I act like this is the only site, right? Well tell me, if people on four other sites have seen and are sick of your crappy elitist, rude attitude, doesn't that say something? Do you remember what happened before? When all hell broke loose when you started bashing someone's MOC? And you weren't giving "harsh criticism", you were saying that his MOCs weren't good. That isn't criticism, that's being an megablocks. You said you could do better. That's not only incorrect, but incredibly elitist and egotistical. You think you're so amazing that you can but down what other people put time and effort into? Who the hell are you to do that? You've upset PLENTY of people whom you've talked to like this, it's why Saber-scorpion registered here to defend himself! He seemed pretty annoyed with your behavior over at his site as well. Is this all a coincidence? Some conspiracy? Or maybe is it just you? Yes, and why would that be? You make crap up, you make excuses all the time, and you always try and make yourself some victim who gets this blame shuffled to them! Think about this, is it REALLY everyone else, or is it just you being an arrogant megablocks? You've made apologies for this EXACT BEHAVIOR before, and yet continue to do it? This only leads me to believe that you're just BSing every single time. Why should anything you say be taken seriously anymore, Lego2000?
  14. You haven't pissed a lot of people off? Why have you been in the chamber then not once, not twice, but three times? Why did you feel the need to compare your MOCs to those of others? Why do you feel the need to do nothing but bash other people's MOCs? Oh, and you haven't only pissed people off here. You've pissed people off at classic-space, you've pissed people off at Builders Lounge. You want me to pull quotes from their sites? You've even pissed people off at Saber-scorpion's site, as he, the administrator said! Don't act innocent, it seems that no matter where you go, you cause trouble and piss people off. You have to be one of the most egotistical, childish people I've ever seen. Tell me, chuck, why did he register on this site just to respond? Why have you been chambered so much? Are you a victim? Are you innocent? Hardly, you treat everyone like crap, chastise them for their MOCs, and then when someone comments on your behavior you cry that you've been treated like crap? This is just beyond ridiculous. Tell me, do you do your pathetic "I'm so sorry!" crap only when you get in trouble, or do you have a bit of maturity in you at all? Because you sure as hell have never shown it if you have. It's amazing how elitist you act when you have absolutely no reason to. You have no idea how pissed I am at your constant crappy attitude and manipulative history.
  15. What great models! Thanks for posting this, saber-scorpion. You have a great ability to go for the militaristic style, something chuck greatly lacks in. Your models look nice and solid, and there's nothing wrong with some decals. Heck, if there was, I doubt the Minifig Customization Network would be such a great site! One I'm a member at, may I add :-P And it's really ignorant to go around bashing customizers. People should respect each other's hobbies... It's unfortunate that some of the younger members followed chuck's negative lead like that. You're clearly a talented builder, who's fairly well known in the AFOL community. Don't worry about what chuck said, he's acted like this to others before, and pissed a lot of people off. Keep building those great MOCs, and thanks for sharing!
  16. :'-( But I think I get it now. When I said the engines were going to be enclosed, I just meant in the ship. They're going to be exposed to the extent that they need to be accessed in case of damage. Similarly, the two thrusters should be removable through the back of the ship, in case they need to be swapped out. I just meant they'd be internal to the ship, you don't see submarines with their power generators on the outside of the ship afterall, right? :-D
  17. You look so happy in all those machine pics :-P As for the engine room, you mean make it modular? I thought it would look realistic with pipes going everywhere and whatnot. Would it probably be mainly stacks and stacks of boxes? *wacko* As for the worm gear, where are you suggesting I use it? I can't see where one goes... 8-|
  18. Moved to BSTF. And yeah, if you really want one and don't care about the box or instructions, you can always try parting one out on BL
  19. A group of heroes who come fully armed and armored, more like an elite task force than heroes... But they're ALWAYS there. They're the main weapons. They're in every set. They're in every panel. They do permeate more.

    My theory.

Well that's more or less what I said, the atmosphere rotates with the Earth, in effect making it one entity. However the force you exert back on the Earth doesn't have anything to do with this. When you jump, the momentum you have, as well of that of the atmosphere, keeps you going at the same rate as the Earth. If the atmosphere were to somehow cease it's relationship with the Earth, you'd actually be moved back a bit due to air resistance. For a heli to remain stationary you'd have to travel in a counter-rotational direction at the exact same speed as the Earth rotates. Not only that, to remain stationary in space, you'd quickly leave Earth's atmosphere entirely, due to it's revolution...but that's not what he was talking about, was it? :-P Well, you'd need to be tangent to the Earth's rotation, not just the Earth, as you could go with the rotation as well...or perpendicular to it ;-) But that just gets back to what I said earlier about the counter-rotational speed...

    My theory.

Well, think of it this way, Axle. When you jump up, does the ground move under your feet? The Earth rotates, and fast too! So you'd expect if you jumped, that you'd slam into the nearest wall! The answer is that it isn't the wind (:-P) but rather that you're in the atmosphere. It's the same as the Earth, meaning that the whole thing rotates. Anything in the atmosphere will rotate at the same speed as the Earth, and therefore, would not move with respect to the ground. This would work, however, if you escaped the atmosphere, like the space station does (I'm sure you've heard of satellites passing overhead and whatnot). Hope this answered your question! You still have something in your eye, SN? :-D
  22. Visorak-kal, you put too many quotes in that post, you need to break that up, I can't even tell what's you, what's me, and what's someone else. I do see at the start something I said awhile ago that you didn't respond to. And I do see something where you keep talking about increased sales meaning it's a good idea, which is just ridiculous :-P Sadly they're trying to twist the story to fit the sets, it seems. That tends to stretch things to the unbelievable, rather than making a story, which should be more important, and making sets about that. However they're more worried about sales, which is great by a business standpoint, but not a good idea if you want a deep, cohesive, believable story.
  23. I'm pretty sure he meant the fact that you make small MOCs rather than larger ones, generally.
  24. From what I understood, that was some sort of lost technology, wasn't it? That's different than everyone running around like a SWAT member...and it was just one small instance, it didn't permeate the story, nor was it a critical part in that year's theme. However, I wasn't a fan of that either ;-) It was clearly, though, sales from that set that pushed the release of more shooting weapons and the like.
  25. Yeah, I just said .jpg since that's far and away the most common format that you see people upload pictures in, but as Hinckley said any is fine :-)
