  1. Welcome to our community! I hope you enjoy it here.
  2. I don't play an instrument any more. Haven't played one for more than 10 years. When I was a child, I started off with the recorder, as most children do when they want to learn an instrument. After one year of playing the recorder, I continued with the clarinet for 3 years. I dropped it because I was too lazy. I hardly ever practiced in my last year of playing the clarinet.
  3. I'm not an enormous space nut - though I must admit that I have recently bought two older space sets MISB - but I find the introduction of a new theme always an exciting thing. Let's see what the new space police sets will look like. I hope that images will leak soon.
  4. This is the right site to discuss LEGO matters you are most interested in! Welcome!
  5. Hi! Welcome to our community!
  6. I've only got the Blizzard Baron, the Celestial Sled and the Ice Tunnelator; just three of the smaller sets. However, it's an awesome theme. I've voted "above average" because the introduction of elements in new colours (orange) and new visors was a bit too much for me. But hey: it's still a wonderful theme! I'd love to have a brand new Deep Freeze Defender, which offers an amzingly high degree of playability.
  7. Hi and welcome to our community, fellow German speaker!
  8. I've been in a LEGO shopping mood lately. I've just bought Market Street 10190 on S@H! Yuppiiee!
  9. I don't really care. For me the old maps are as good as the new ones. Indeed, it would've been nicer if the sea had been added to the new ones too. Still, no real issue for me.
  10. The bigger such creations, the more details possible. I'm eager to see the final result. That's definitely going to be a very heavey train you are creating! Keep us up-to-date about your process!
  11. Hi and welcome, new member!
  12. Welcome to our community! I suppose you're mainly interested in SW, aren't you?
  13. That's a really difficult question. It depends on the number of bricklink shops you have to buy stuff from. I mean you must also include the shipping costs. The more sellers from whom you buy, the higher the overall shipping costs. Then it depends on whether you would like insured shipping or not. Insured shipping is more expensive, of course. Do you want to purchase new or used bricks? I'm not sure, but I think bidding on the complete set on eBay might be cheaper. But wait for some more replies. I think there are better experts on such matters around here than me.
  14. 6834 Ice Planet Celestial Sled. I didn't think I was going to win the auction, but I did! I got it for 8.50 euro, MISB! Not bad, not bad! EDIT: Just today (8. Dec.) I bought 6833 M:Tron Beacon Tracer from the same seller as the Celestial Sled. The Beacon Tracer is also MISB. It was a buy-it-now purchase.
  15. Hi and welcome! Where we guys put our stuff? Actually everywhere, but if you want storage and space tips, you're definitely right here. There have been some threads about storage and so on.
  16. Hi and welcome to eurobricks!
  17. Welcome to community! If that giant minifig was some sort of marketing gag, it seems to have been successful; it made you buy a LEGO set!
  18. Welcome to our community! For lost pieces you can either check bricklink.com or Pick a Brick on shop.lego.com. There you might find the pieces to complete your sets.
  19. This is funny! *lol* Nice journey through time! The baddies don't escape, not even 500 years later!
  20. Wow, I'm struck dumb! What a beautiful truck! An amazing moc! Absolutely brilliant!
  21. I don't like them. For me they don't really look legoish. They are far from the LEGO I love and grew up with.
  22. Town Plan and Green Grocer are the reasons why I have loved 2008!! They are two wonderful sets with lots of details. Unfortunately, I have neither yet. Apart from trains and town stuff, I'm not much interested in other sets though I'm eagerly waiting for the release of Pirates in Europe and the Medieval Market Place, but these are sets of the year 2009.
  23. Nice review, good set. A good way to populate new unknown planets in your LEGO universe. Somehow a pity that this set and the Unitron monorail were the only sets in Europe where you could get Unitron minifigs.
  24. I haven't ordered anything from you... not yet at least. Welcome to our community!
