  1. What that? Looks like a walker! An Imperial Walker? No
  2. What are you going to call it? Well the wings are in the shape of a X so I though you know,
  3. Bah! Cross Bow Attack a mere wannabe lets take a look at the original. Theme: Castle Set Name: Siege Cart Set Number: 6012 Number of Pieces: 51 Figures:2 Released: 1986 List Price: £1.95 (according to price tag on box) $3.50 (USD) Lets us begin with the box. The cart being move into position while an archer provides cover. The back shows a selection of alternative models, the plough’s quite inventive. After opening the box we find the instruction booklet Being a set from the 80’s Lego have been kind to us and provided us with two figures and a lot of kit, for the two soldier we are provided with; three spears, one bow and quiver, 1 shield and a blue cape. Someone’s certainly decided to kit this pair out well. The construction is simple and effective, it uses common parts which give you the opportunity to build more of them. Main body under construction. The arm is very simple but also effective. The cart fully decked out and ready for war Finally it all comes together, troops and their siege cart. Are you ready for a war? They sure are What do you mean the bolt doesn’t fire, who designed this thing! A good set from the early days of Lego Castle, it’s easy to build and made of common parts. Also for those interested in army building you’re paying one pound a figure in the UK which is uncommonly good value. The Rating System Figures: 7/10 (Two figure but both have the same torso) Parts 7/10 (There’s a good selection of parts though it is black heavy.) Fun Fun Fun 8/10 (It’s a good fun set and I plan to amass an army of them.) Design 9/10 (Great design uses simple parts to great effect) Price 9/10 (At the original UK price give me 20 of them) Grand Total 40/50 Very highly rated. Conclusion. A great set, it provides a wide array of those must have accessories for the discerning knight. The designers seem to have struggled to come up with a large number of great alternative but that doesn’t matter to me there are still several interesting one. This set is better than army builder we’ve been provided with recently as it allows you to only build one faction at a time.
  4. Why don’t you hand him in and get the reward?
  5. Am I the only one who hoped Johnny was going to be on the Factor when I red Fox News? Anyway I want to know why this wasn’t on the BBC!
  6. I love the shack, I can’t wait to find out more, would it be how they fund the wars against the Wizard?
  7. Spent the day writing a dissertation and found I was adopting 17th century writing patterns so I went and wrote a set review.
  8. Welcome to Eurobrick, I also look forward to seeing your MOCs.

  10. Happy Birthday, I hope you have a great day.
  11. Welcome aboard I hope you have a great time here.
  12. Striking public service worker! Maybe licensed from TfL? On a more serious note (though transport workers would be good) I really like maiq ‘s idea of tourist and of course tourist attraction to go with them.
  13. Absolutely anything and everything could be seen as wastful if you want to view it that way. I want to be a historian and to be blunt there is no real benefit for humanity if I do so, I don’t think humanity needs more work done of the 17th century etc there already enough and all I’ll produce are more articles and more wasteful students and future historians. The thing is if I though about myself in that way all the time I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror when I wake up and it’d probably break my limited grasp on sanity. So as I see it you’ve got three choices. 1 Take a vow of poverty and give everything away, 2 Make some sort of deal to easy your conscious or 3 Learn to live with it. Its might seem hard but it’s going to come down to one of those three in my opinion.
  14. But sadly not why Lego never mentioned this discount system to anyone! Or how it worked for that mater.
  15. So now the discussion moves to months, I really hope that it’ll be a January release so it’ll turn up before Christmas like Indy did last year. Realistically however I think March is more likely.
  16. Didn't realise the minifig was 30 today, thanks for the link to the contest.
  17. A great ship and very well made. My only concern is that the bow seems a bit low, I think it would look a bit better if it was raised up slightly.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks, please tell us some more about yourself. Which themes do you like etc?
  19. Thanks for the link Chenben, while I got a book on how to draw the plans it’s great to have a number of completed plans.
  20. SirNadroj excellent work, I love the look of the farmer and the buildings have a wonderful sort of ramshackle feel to them. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
  21. Congratulations and Happy Birthday. I’d glad both of you had such a good day.
  22. Welcome aboard, I hope you enjoy your time here at Eurobricks.
  23. Dang I wish I had enough hair to have a Lego hair cut but sadly its receding.
  24. An excellent MOC, it looks really run down and near collapse which looks great. The seagull designs are interesting and the best I’ve seen. I assume you’ve painted the doors can I ask with what and how well it’s stayed on? I love the opium den you’ve constructed especially the heads used, clearly opium is rather effective.
  25. I expect to spend alot of time looking for the peices, also depends on how complex the building method is might take a few attempts to get it right.
