  1. hmmm, I like the new cab... those large panels fit great... But would it look better if you change the 5x11 of the grille to a more realistic look? I vote for LIME!!! That's really cool with black... Or if you want it more decent and elegant dark blueish gray Pat
  2. Oh yes, the waterline needs some tuning, shouldn't be a big problem... Thanks for the link...
  3. Very nice, can't wait to see it swim... Which parts did you take for the heli deck?
  4. Looks really good... Yes, smaller panels would be great and the new 3x11 are OK. But something like 5x7 or 3x5 would be perfect...
  5. OK, I see your point, but this green isn't really military And a little contrast doesn't hurt... Hmmm, then, just try it and match it with your "quality"...
  6. Ah Ok... Then add some white stripes ... One stub more or less won't be significant... The cab of my U406 is one stud too long... In my opinion it fits... Pat
  7. Hi, that looks really good. Just buy a 42008. This set has a lot of green parts. Nearly enough for my U406. Can't wait to see new pictures! Pat
  8. Holy... That's very cool. Please more pictures!
  9. Really cool... Lego should really come up with some new R/C stuff...
  10. Regarding 9398 and 42009... I bought the 9398 only for parts. 42009 is clearly good for parts, but I personally don't like all those yellow parts...
  11. Hmmm, I don't know, never tried it, but I think the M-motor isn't strong enough...
  12. Hi Fissl, your tracked loader is great! I would really appreciate instructions or a lxf file! Pat
  13. Yes, but look at the Unimog or the actual mobile crane... These aren't really sets for children. My godson is nine years old, and he wasn't abled to build the Unimog on his own... Children like sets which can be assembled in a short period of time and which grant playability...
  14. I don't know if Lego loves Unimogs. I think they prefer those big yellow digging and what ever machines... Don't know why... Why do you want to remove the center diff? There's a solution with a XL-motor which includes the center diff...
  15. That's kind of cool... Looks like a manager toy :-D
  16. Hi, just take a close look here... http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp?itemType=P&catString=154 Pat
  17. Yes, I know these sets... But hey, don't mess with 8110 :-D And there are more Unimogs out there...
  18. Hi Kumbbl, look at this site: http://www.blokbricks.com/contents/en-us/d2.html There are third party hoses... Pat
  19. Hi unimog123, very nice chassis. The cab shouldn't be a problem. Just play around with panels. So did I with the U20 and U406 and I think those aren't that bad... Can't wait to see more pictures... Pat
  20. Hi Kubavet, I really like the Unimog, too... And thanks for the compliment, but not all ideas are mine... There are a lot of other builders... And as Alasdair wrote above... Motorize it. It increases the fun! Pat
  21. Hi folks, it's me again... Today I'll show you my signaling trailer. Yes, the old one, but now the lights are flashing. Thanks to Zmei_gorini4 who provided me with the LEDs and the circuit. The circuit has three modes. Left, right and only the top most LEDs flashing. Have fun watching. Pat
  22. Hi unimog... my videos were all taken with an iPhone. And sorry, I didn't do anything with iMovie... But the whole "appliance" you get with peaches, sorry apple is good and suits perfect... Pat
  23. What a cute little dozer!!! Very cool!!!
  24. He's selling those on the auction house, too... They are all nicely colored in black and orange. If those instructions weren't this expensive I would buy them, just for checking, if all parts are avaiable in orange, as suggested...
