    I disagree. I just think it's a situational thing. The heroes of Strivvi have already established a pretty good relationship (partly due to the fact that its the continuation of the same quest, partly because of the chemistry with the characters), so it would be more natural. Other times when a quest has a variety of heroes who may or may not already be acquainted, it would be a waste of time to have an elected party leader.

    Hybros shifted uncomfortably, a little apprehensive to the the way the scientists were 'studying' him. He hoped the other imps, if ever found, wouldn't be subject to too much of a close eye. Hybros' eyes widened with hope. Trying to contain his excitement, he exclaimed, "Yes, yes, that would be very good!" He tried to imagine what a 'drill' device was or looked like. "Ehem, to answer you question... well, no, I do not know where to dig. I just know they are somewhere underground. Olegaia is a very big place, I know, but there are many places to dig. Many mines and caverns... I will, erm, need your help with that as well. We will need information on the deepest caves and underground caverns, I think. From the High Kingdoms to Xu, from Etheria to Dastan... whatever it takes. I will not stop searching. And perhaps some way to map the sub-surface... I do not know, but that is why I have asked you for help, eheh..."

    Hybros waves farewell to the rest of the party, and turns to the the Dr. Raph and Dr. Don. "Yes, what is past is past, and if my... reputation is so legendary with the Ji Pei as you said, I would like to ask the Ji Pei for a favor, eheh." Hybros shifted in his seat. "I have sent a letter to Jun Ji Pei, but he has yet to reply. I do hope he is safe. But since we are here now, I would like to discuss my request." He took a sip of his tea before continuing. "How many people like me have you seen on Olegaia that look like me? Ehem, except for the other little one that was with us here, but I am not sure where De'kra comes from. I can not even remember where I come from. I only have whispers of what where I am from, where the rest of my kind are, and why I am here." Another sip of tea. "Ehehm, but enough of that. I know where the imps are. Deep underground, driven there a very long time ago. I was sent to the surface to search for a way for them to come back. I know this because... I just know. I have traveled this world for a half of a century, and I believe it is finally time to do what I was meant to. I have seen the Ji Pei's and Tritech's impressive machines. I know even magic is too limited to do what the Ji Pei can do. To find my people." "I need to know if it can be done. I do not know how, but I need to know if it is possible to search underground, deeper than any dwarf has mined or any gnome has lived. Do you have the machines for this?" Hybros instinctively touched the hilt of Zoot's Reaper. He wasn't used to this kind of interaction. It made him feel vulnerable.

    You can click 'My Settings' (under your username in the top right corner of every Eurobricks page), and change your signature, then use the hyperlink button to create a link to your stats. You might need at least ten posts to edit your signature, I'm not completely sure on that though.

    Hybros accepts a cup of herbal tea along with the reward, savoring the warmth of the steam brushing against his face and the gold in his pockets; a nice contrast to the bleak and snowy outdoors. "I will take the please." "Ah yes, I remember that well, eheh... let it be known that I was new to this city then, and did not know of the wonders of the Ji Pei. But I quickly came to realize these things, and sided with the Ji Pei then as I would have now." It would seem that the quest was complete and that the heroes could return to the Hall, yet Hybros lingered. He looked to Dr. Don and Dr. Raph, indicating that he wished to stay and speak with them privately before returning to Eubric on his own. He said to Boomingham, Ellaria, and De'kra, "I will see the three of you back in the Hall. It has been a... pleasure. Lawrence, we will have to catch up, and with you too, De'kra, it has been far too long. And Ellaria, you will have to tell me sometime about this strange human reproduction cycle, hehehe..." He bows his head so that the brim of his hat shades his eyes.

    Hybros tips his hat to the two men, and bows deeply. "I am Hybros, er, ever faithful to the Ji Pei, eheh... and-" Hybros catches the glare one of the men threw at him. "Ehem, have we met? And what is this place? I thought the Ji Pei had a palace in Eubric..."

    And Alexis could easily just go to the Fields and buy access to the Veteran classes if she really wanted to. But I didn't even realize that anyone was remotely close to level 40.

    OOC: For record-keeping's sake, the SOAH should have 43 and 1/3 WP. "Thank you Boomingham. I would just like one or both of those Nostrums and perhaps the Phoenix Essence. I also would not say no to some of the gold, heheh..." Hybros prepared himself to speak with the Ji Pei and Tritech representatives. Jun had still not answered his Grogmas letter, which was worrying, but hopefully those at the headquarters would hear him out.

    A full reread of Quest #44 reveals this, among a few other cool things: Just thought it might be interesting to those following the Pandemonicon Arc. And now to trudge through #53... It's so long, and I've read it twice before I think (and I still don't remember/understand it... Damn you and your convoluted storylines, Zeph) .

    Is it explained in the first Pandemonicon quest? I can't seem to find it. And yeah, if only Atramor knew then that'd he'd be wandering alone in the desert because of it.

    Hm, I'd be interested to know the backstory behind this... seems Hybros' very first weapon has seen quite a bit of travel since Quest #7.

    I agree on 85, one of the few I've followed closely as of late because of time constraints. I thought it started a little slow, but the ending was worth it. I really like the design of Ahriman, especially the wings. It reminds me of the art style in Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. So we have archdemons representing gluttony, greed, and envy... I'm guessing Azazot, or whichever demon killed Zed Ziegfried, is Wrath. That who Ziegfried story arc relates to the Pandemonicon arc, right?

    OOC; My health should be up from the Grand Potion, and I should have 90 more gold. Sorry for my absence this weekend. Hybros attacks Eddy twice from the back row.

    Hybros gets up as well, protected by the guardian angel as Ellaria revived him. He coughed up blood. "Eheh... thank you." He then fed Boomingham a Health Core and a Nostrum to wash it down. "Thirsty?"

    In his haste, Hybros lunges at Eddy but fails to notice Itsuki firing a shot from the back row, which is enough to know the poor imp out before finishing his attack.

    Ayup. People complain about Harbough's bad sportsmanship, I don't want to hear it after this Seahawks win. At least the Broncos delivered this week, so it's still an interesting Super Bowl. Let's just hope Manning and company can pull through against that Seattle defense.

    OOC: I'm in the back row, remember? I should still be up, and Hybros should deliver that hit to Eddy with a chance of Assassination. Hybros crushes up a Health Core and pours the powder down his throat before attacking Eddy from the back row again. "Not to worry, Lawrence. It will be just like old times, eheh. Allow me to go first this time."

    Oh, I guess I completely misunderstood how the Iris Shield works. If I understand it correctly now, the more SP it has, the less damage it can reflect back to the enemy? For example, a Level 50 enemy attacks the user (who is in the front row), the Iris Shield has SP:20. The user would take 30 damage, and reflect 30 damage back, right?

    OOC: Sorry, I forgot to post! Oh, and thanks for holding onto Hybros while I was gone, Zeph. Kinto, I think you've been calculating my damage wrong. I'm fighting in the back row so all my damage should be halved. Since Itsuki is in the back row as well, his damage should be halved again. The darkness element of my Sword should double the damage, so overall the damage to Itsuki should have a 1/2x multiplier and damage to Eddy should have a 1x multiplier. Hybros slices and dices his way through the enemies. His sword felt swifter and more balanced than ever. He repeats his attacks. "Karie, hm? Yes... heheheh." Hybros chuckled as he recalled the time that he was on Guts' boat when the Rogue woman tried to sneak on. "Yes, I believe I have encountered her before... I do not know what you mean, but I suppose we can discuss this later, eheh... And forget about the heal, when the time is right I will throw one of these your way, Lawrence."

    OOC: Oh, of course, you're right. I think I should still be lucky though. And yes, fun and exhausting are how I would describe it. I'll link a gallery later.

    OOC: Hybros should not have gained any experience from the last battle since he was knocked out, and should have only 1 Health. He should also be Lucky this battle: "Hm, yes, we should have just killed the werewolf back there... you are beginning to become nearly as bad as that Tarn, Lawrence. Nobility never leads to anything good, eheh... but who is this Stealer you speak of? He sounds intriguing..." Hybros lunges again at his targets from the back row, although his aim is lacking from his severe injuries sustained from the last battle. "Ehem, some healing would be nice..." Hybros nodded. "I wonder what ever became of those bottles..."

    OOC: not quite, I'm using hotel wifi but ill be back in about 12 hours. Hybros attacks Itsu and Eddie from the back row with the SOAH.
