  1. Thanks for the constructive feedback. Maybe instead of shouting random abrasive comments in every discussion we have about rules in this game, you could back your arguments a little more? Just a suggestion if you want people to listen to you.
  2. I did say the build was broken. For the record, I do plan on not buying anymore Nostrums from Portia. I think it will be a lot more fun for everyone if heroes weren't Lucky all of the time. The only reason I do it in the Fields is to raise the WP.
  3. Upwards of that, I would say. In the Fields he was dealing two or three thousand damage with elemental and favor multipliers.
  4. None as quickly as an Assassin. Guts, maybe, but other than that, even Tesni doesn't get that many kills (it's only usable by Knights and Rogues, and I don't think the effect applies to spellcasting). Exactly. Don't worry, I plan on switching classes eventually. Might've been Infiltrator if I ever would have access to it, otherwise I'll have to wait until level 40 for Rogue Thief.
  5. Not necessarily. Pie had it for about a year and a half before I traded the Pheles Rod for it, and he only raised it by 1 WP.
  6. Very observant of you. The weapon isn't overpowered, my build is. The Fields do make that quite a bit more apparent since we (the hosts) don't have any control over the enemy stats. We can't slap a *Immune to Instakill* or *Penetrates SP* onto enemies. It's much harder to use my strategy in a real quest, and the fact that the build is broken is less amplified.
  7. As it did for your Lion Sword from a while back. Except this time the WP is doubled. Seeing just a little bit of power creep here. Even more so since no one seems to want the axe.
  8. Nerf the item, not the shield. I think the shield skill is perfectly balanced, it's only Pie's build with the apparently overpowered weapon that make things difficult. That brings into question whether or not nerfing based on individual builds is acceptable, but I guess that's another matter.
  9. Hybros attacks Toxic Toads I and J from the back row. Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Nagure Stigveladi Pretzel Nur Sylph
  10. Hybros attacks Toxic Toads D and F from the back row. Battle Order: Nagure Stigveladi Pretzel Nur Hybros Hybros Sylph
  11. "Blue Assassins? Ehehm, never heard of them." Hybros looked sideways at Pretzel. "Just wondered what they were, myself, hehehehe..." Eager to change the subject, he drew his sword and admired its shine in the sunlight. "Well then, erm, should we go? Perhaps the Muddy Riverbank would be a better destination... but we should leave soon, we are still on the clock, eheh..." Speaking of which, he pulled out his Clock Cog from his first quest by Guffington. He briefly recalled that adventure, over a year ago now, and sipped on a Nostrum.
  12. "Alright, let us go to the Central Sanctuary, then to the Corn Maze. Hurry now, we are On the Clock, heheh." Hybros turned to Nur, grinning at his imitation. "No thank you, Nur, I believe after this battle I will have enough experience and, erm, Glory, to buy one of those mushrooms later. I appreciate the offer however, eheh." OOC: Will do, Pie. I think you might've calculated our GP wrong, that was only our second or third battle.
  13. "So soon? What would you say to one more battle, monk? Hehehe..." Loot: Nagure: Remedy Stigveladi: Phoenix Essence Pretzel: Phoenix Essence, Remedy Sylph: Remedy Nur: Phoenix Essence, Remedy Hybros: Remedy
  14. Fair enough. @Palathadric: check your PM inbox.
  15. No, I meant I wanted Sylph to heal Nur in the event that he rolled a Shield and revived him with Roots of Life. And on second thought, Sylph can heal Pretzel instead (so long as DLL isn't around).
  16. OOC: Mass Effect is always a good reason. "Sylph, try to get Nur back on his feet, eheh... Everyone else, stay back." Hybros repeats. Battle Order: Sylph Hybros Hybros
  17. Oh... okay. Well if Rufus is inactive... does that open up a spot? Not to be presumptuous...
  18. Speaking of which, any idea on when Heroica will be setting sail for Strivvi again?
  19. Sylph heals Hybros from the back row.
  20. You're free to use Dewey, Lewie, and Huey from 53, and also Captain Whales and Thimlin, though I would prefer if the latter two survived.
  21. OOC: Indeed. As long as no one minds. Hybros attacks Death's Rose A from the back row, twice. Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Emerald Nur Nagure Amma Pretzel Sylph
  22. OOC: Shouldn't Nagure be counterstriking? "See, I told you it would work, eheh..." Hybros attacks Splatterflies A and B from the back row with his sword. Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Nagure Pretzel Stigveladi Nur Sylph
  23. "Everyone, stay back and throw your most effective bomb. I think it will be enough to take out the first round of these flying creatures, and if I am lucky I can take out more. But we must also prepare for the enemies' charge, eheheh..." Hybros drew his Banana Bladerang, although he doubted this was a good idea after all. He threw his trusty weapon at Bloody Bug A, then, if failing that, at Bug B. If he was successful, then SOAH on Bug B. Back row. Battle Order: Nagure Pretzel Stigveladi Sylph Nur Hybros Hybros
  24. "Very well, Nur, you know these Fields better than I. Let us make sure everyone has something to throw, though I assure you I am well-equipped to deal with such enemies." Hybros handed Nagure three lightning bombs.
  25. "Hm." Hybros remarked. "I will need to practice my swordplay a little, heheh. The two easy targets would have been no match for the weight of a scythe." He sheathed the Sword of Ancestral Hatred. As swift and deadly as it was, nothing could ever replace the comfort he had gained with a scythe. He looked over the spoils, and tossed the Raw Meat to the hungry-looking yeti. "Better the loot than me, hehehe..." he mumbled. He then handed out a jar of Smelling Salts and a piece Silver Ore to all the other party members, keeping one of the precious metals for himself. He considered keeping the second one for himself, but tossed it to Stigveladi instead. "Well done back there..." "Well, then, to the Butterfly Plains? I have, erm, also been thinking about those challenges the farmer told us about. What if we added a little Death into the mix, hm? Eheh..." Hybros opened another Nostrum as he spoke. OOC: Also, loot distribution for your convenience, Pie: Nagure: Raw Meat. Smelling Salts, Ore Stigveladi: SS, 2x Ore Pretzel: SS, Ore Sylph: SS, Ore Nur: SS, Ore Hybros: Ore
