  1. Excellent work, SirNadroj! What I like: I love it all... the balcony, roof, palm tree, plant, and chandelier are all wonderful. I like how the chandelier looks like it's rocking, and the soldier strung to it. The whole idea is neat, too, very cruel. What could be improved: Perhaps the tan stones could be changed to light bley? I don't know why you decided to use a clear base plate, but it certainly doesn't take away from your entry. Good luck!
  2. Thanks for the [rumor] list, Cargi. Although still no Endor base, we get yet another Falcon. Ah, well, I might actually get this one. The rest sound good, except for Anakin's Y-wing. Why must it be Anakin's? I would much rather have a Clone pilot. Now that would be cool. I missed out on the first version, and maybe this one will be improved.
  3. I actually think that It's good that Jar Jar is getting some attention in the series, since he didn't play much of a part in AOTC or ROTS (no, I still don't care how much you hate him).
  4. Well, you guys (kinda) got what you wanted with John and Cameron. This episode was pretty awesome, I loved the scene at the end when Cromartie just got demolished. But the Mexican music kind of ruined the atmosphere of that scene. Yeah, Jinzo, you're probably right on the liquid lady finding the body first. Sarah's emotional breakdown was pretty good for character development, I think. Also, I think the producers did well on the different points of view idea, since the same scene was cut off little by little from the beginning to make it more interesting. Not like Vantage Point...
  5. Hmm, that's not good, darkrebellion. I'm seeing that next Friday for my birthday... hopefully It'll be better than what you thought. But only an hour and a half?!
  6. Happy Birthday, you three! And Hollisbrick, here's your present.
  7. I have, several times. Since this has been brought up again, well... let's just say I smell death... :pir-skull:
  8. Thanks for those, Luxor. Although Adam doesn't use this costume anymore in the game, I could still find some great uses for this.
  9. Very creative, odderfisken! What I like: The torch-cannon mechanism is pretty ingenious, and is the focal point of your MOC. What I also like is that the pirates put the lady in the mortar, which is cruel along with the whole plot of the man choosing himself or his loved one. Most cruel indeed. What could be improved: The main thing that bothers me is that empty space on the left side. You could make that the outside of the building, and add some foliage, perhaps an animal or two, or, like Erdbeereis said, a storeroom with weapons and supplies. Also, the dark grey on the light grey to represent stone tiling is a good idea, but I think it would look better as a dark grey 2x2 plate attached sideways to either A. A light grey modified (as Bl calls it) 2x2 with two studs on the side, or B. A light grey 2x2 with two Technic holes, and add two Technic half-pins (the blue ones) to make the studs on the side. Or use both. But good entry. Make these few improvements for an overall better entry (in my opinion), and good luck!
  10. Nice work again, Paul! What I like: The story is great, and so is the blood. I also really like the green 1x1s in the water to represent the top scales of the crocodile emerging from the water. The addition of the monkey in the tree was a good idea to fill up some space. What could be improved: I think the rocks could definitely be made bigger. Also, I would have some foliage in the water to add detail. Lastly, this doesn't really reflect on the cruelty of pirates, but rather the islanders. But, that matter is ultimately up to the judges of the contest. Besides these minor points, this is a good, unique entry, so good luck!
  11. Great news, thanks for sharing! I'll have to check this out. However, I'm going to wait until after the holidays to snag some of these, just to see how everything turns out.
  12. Excellent, work, I really like the designs on the side, very cool! In addition to some light bley/ grey, maybe some little bits of silver would be good in this?
  13. Ah, thanks once again, ISC. That's all for questions, but on the list, you put me down for the Wine Cellar and the Kitchen, but I wanted to do the Wine Cellar and the Servant's Quarters. Sorry for any confusion! I'm also go on the updated catwalk for the outer keep.
  14. Hey, you cheated! Ah, well, Happy B-Day, anyway.
  15. It's wonderful to see you back in action, LuxorV! I will look forward to all of your future designs!
  16. Very good, Lt. de Martinet. What I like: Good plot, and good use of that baseplate. I also like how you put rubber bands on the raft, which add color to your entry. What could be improved: I would like to see some blood; a little on the raft and a lot in the water. Good luck!
  17. Great work, Paul! What I like: All of the skulls are sure to draw attention to your entry, very cruel. The face choice for the pirate is perfect, and the use of new torsos is brilliant. What could be improved: Maybe just add some more blood to the head and the ground? Oh, and maybe you would want to take more pics at different angles. The ones that you have taken all show the same thing. But good luck!
  18. Good entry, Nich. What I like: It's really cruel to stuff someone in a cannon, good job on that. I also really like your face choice for the pirates and soldiers alike. What could be improved: I think some more blood and dead bodies would be a good thing for your MOC, especially to liven up the sand. I would also used trans-red instead of solid red for blood. Also, perhaps you could make this a little more detailed by making it more hectic (flying cannonballs, sneaky pirates, etc.). I look forward to your final entry, and good luck!
  19. Thanks, ISC! I will get started on mine ASAP. Yes, I was looking at Sandy's great design, too. It will just depend on how much I have left. Also, I had one more question: what is the purpose of having two teams? Are the wall designs different? I also vote V7 for the updated layout.
  20. $20 for 69 bricks is insane. Now that I have better pictures, I'm going to try and build it myself. But at least their available a S@H.
  21. Very cruel, Zorro! What I like: The whole idea is unique, and of course, cruel. The heads that you've used are perfect, and the chamber is cool. What could be improved: A few things that I would change would be the blue lamp (which others before me have said), and to change that to black or dark grey. Also, the brown cap looks a bit out of place, I would use a shako or admiral's cap. But otherwise, good entry, and good luck!
  22. Good entry, Dreamweb! What I like: The little drops of blood incorporated in with the SNOT techniques is wonderful. I also lie the neat fireplace and wall decorations. The nightstand and the killer escaping were both nice additions. What could be improved: The sword that the pirate is using could definitely be changed to a cutlass to better fit the theme. Also, this may be a personal preference, but I don't really like the color scheme (white and grey with yellow). I would either change the white to grey, or change the yellow to black or blue. Other than those things, this is a nice entry, and wish you good luck!
  23. Very nice entry, Guss! What I like: The thing that catches my eye most is the neat little red and white canopy. I also like the rooftop and the blood spatter all over the wall. Nice tiling, and great blood techniques. What could be improved: I would recommend that you add tiles to the top of the buildings, too. Also, the female in the blue dress looks a bit strange, with the hair and head combination that you've used. Perhaps you could use a different head... But a very cruel, yet creative, entry, Guss. You seem to be a good MOCer as far as I can see. Good luck!
  24. Nice creations, everyone! Even though I haven't posted in their thread, I'd like to say that Team Alpha is doing great (I posted in Beta's). Also, is it too late for me to join in? If not, I'd like to do 52: Servants Quarters and 53: Wine Cellar. EDIT: Also, do I have to make the hallway with my additions? If so, is there any universal design that I have to use for it?
  25. Hello, Team Beta. I'd just like to drop in and say that all of your additions to the CCB are wonderful! This has turned into quite an interesting thing to follow, and I look forward to more of your creations!
