What an amazing collection! I wonder if he has all SW sets ever made... I'm a collector like him, but unlike him, I can never keep my sets in their original form...
-
Thanks for the awesome review, and great pictures! This set is a must-buy for me. All of the new torsos and heads are beautiful, and I really like the newly dressed Indy. The cars are great as well, and really capture that 20's/ early 30's look. I don't really mind that cab piece, but would much rather have a brick-built cab. Also, I was hoping the gangsters would have those Tommy guns as seen in the prelim pics and Batman sets... But still this is on the top of my list.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
JimBee replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I missed that episode simply because I forgot, but luckily you can see the new episodes online. This one looks good, definitely better than the last. -
Mystery Manor - Index and Disscusion Thread
JimBee replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ah, thanks. Even so, these little MOCs are pretty cool. As for the little clues popping up, like the key, I wonder what would happen if the players didn't search the area. They could be trapped in the manor forever! -
Why of course! I was thinking about this myself, and hopefully I'll get some time before the end of the week to do this. Thanks! Hmm... yeah, it sounds good, but I'd prefer it if the characters just heard about the strange things. The future characters would be like ghosts to the present beings, so nobody would know what happened. But that's just my opinion, so let's decide based on what more people think. Glad you could join us... at the end! It's alright, I know how it is, and hopefully you'll be able to join us again.

Does anyone read the topics anymore? Frederico, just check the front page, or you can just go back one page in this topic... And congrats to MoonCheese! I don't know what set that ATV is, but it sounds cool.

Thanks for the advice, Hinckley. I'll try to get to work on it this week.
-
Cool, thanks! Sorry, that sounds really wrong...

Well, an opened box (if the pieces look like they're there {check the parts inventory, and then look at the bags to make sure you have the pieces}) is better than not getting one at all, or having to pay again. Good luck on exchanging, though.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
JimBee replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Again, noticee the Spoiler Alert in the title... Whatever, I'll add spoiler bars from now on... -
You would watch a Bonicle MV. But that is a great song. ATC- Around the World (ah, I just rediscovered this song. I remember hearing it some time back.) Papa Roach- Last Resort (who doesn't like this song?) Three Days Grace- Home (their best song, IMO).

Mystery Manor - Index and Disscusion Thread
JimBee replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is really interesting, I like how the players are looking at the little details... anyways, Dragonator, is this your Dragon's Retreat MOC? If so, did you add on to it? It looks spectacular from what I've seen so far. -
It was already open, you say? Does it have all of the pieces? Well, obviously not, if you're going to return it, but just checking. As for exchanging it, the customer service might not believe you... Saying you got an MTT empty box, and asking for another one for free. They'll probably think you're a con-artist.... anyways, no, I doubt that they'll have any MTT's for half-price anymore, but at full price, probably. It's worth a shot.

Nope, this is new. Thanks a lot! Same here. I'll save the armor for my commanders/ captain (Rex, Fox, Cody), to switch out their bley. It's almost as bad as two people on one motorcycle in Mercenaries 2.
-
Yeah, that would be pretty awesome job. With any and every Lego piece at my command, I bet I could make some pretty cool stuff. But what's better than that? Master builders like this guy with any piece that he/ she needs...

Exactly what I did when the server wasn't working yesterday. Did the slowness have to do with all of the traffic (possibly from the PTV voting)?

1. Beuk- Pirated Television 16. Olog- Why are Pirates so Horrible... 20. Matn- Governor's End I voted Beuk for 1st place because his entry is so unique, and caught my eye the most. I'm surprised that this entry didn't get disqualified because of the T.V, but it was a great idea. Good work, Beuk! I voted Olog's entry for 2nd place because of the wonderful architecture in it, which always interests me. The rug and admiral on the roof are equally creative. For 3rd place, I voted Matn's "Governor's End" mostly because of the wonderful desk and floor tiling, as well as the little details like the ink bottle and quill. Furthermore, the sad expression on the governor's head really reflects the cruelty of pirates. Also, my honorable mentions go out to... 8. LuxorV- Don't make them ask twice: This also had some great architecture techniques, like the basement arches. It also was very cruel. 9. Adam- Dance, Lass!: I just thought this was a neat little scenery, with the little wall and the great water. The guy jumping in the water was also cool. 17. pe668- Colonic Cannonball: This entry caught my eye because of the sheer cruelty. It was designed very well, and the cage on the bottom was a great addition. 21. oDDerFisken- Buried in Gold: Another very cruel entry, and all of the treasure is a real eye-catcher. 22. LegoJoe: A very cruel and hilarious entry. Need I say more? 43. SirNadroj- Under the Union Jack: The tree was very well built and I, for one, liked the white sand, and didn't think that it looked like snow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All of the entries submitted were great, though, and this really was a fun contest. Again, good luck to all!

Hmm, as of now, no. If there is a season 2, side plots will probably not be allowed, because they usually end up going nowhere. Thanks!

The Star Wars Comic Game-Season One
JimBee replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What are you talking about...? If it's some sort of time-space continuum something or other, forget it. We already had "trouble" with that... -
Welcome to Eurobricks! We all have great forums for Castle, Pirates, and of course, Star Wars here, so enjoy! I think there were a few early releases of '99 in '98... maybe.

Welcome to Eurobricks, obxcrew! I've seen you around BrickArms, and hopefully I will here too.

My Star Wars LEGO exhibition in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden from June to Oc
JimBee replied to Sweden's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Quite an impressive collection, Sweden. I would have loved to see that in person, but thanks for the pics. Good luck on finding the sets that you don't have yet! -
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
JimBee replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, there is a big "SPOILER ALERT", so that should be a warning to people who haven't seen it yet... -
Quite a while... if ever. There really isn't a good plot right now, otherwise it would be a rip-off of the CW T.V show... We'll just have to wait and see...
