They always have included chrome hilts in limited sets. Hopefully they always will. I'm pretty sure that's a chrome hilt, especially considering that this set is limited edition. Vader's TIE didn't have a chrome hilt (although metallic and chrome look very similar ) because it wasn't a limited set, just anniversary. As for Ahsoka's JSF, I'm not sure, but it might not be limited. At least, that's my theory...

I'm not so sure on it's authenticity. Of course, it's way too early to determine this, but remember this custom? Yes, just like the Hailfire and Spider droid set, and a much cheaper way of getting Snowies and Hoth Rebels. (And hoefully modular to the Hoth Rebel Base .) This is probably the case, but not necessarily. See above. We don't even know if Solo is going to be included at all in the set- and if he is, there could be Hoth Luke in there, too, since the picture is only showing one Taun-Taun.

Awesome soundtrack! Since I got Guitar Hero World Tour for Christmas, I'm mainly playing and listening to these songs: B.O.Y.B- System of a Down What I've Done- Linkin Park (I got 96% on my first try on medium) Freak on a Leash- Korn No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn- Beastie Boys(z?) ...and also Ulysses by Franz Ferdinand.

I like your ideas for the hallway design, ISC, but they seem too complex, brick-wise, to me. I think I like Thrash's/ Sandy's better, and I have the pieces to build them (now that I have King's Castle Siege ).

As much as I like Race for the Stolen Treasure, I have to go with Shanghai Chase. This set seems to offer more than the other, and the vehicles are a lot cooler. The figs are also better, and Shanghai Chase comes with 5 different ones, and a new Indy, whereas RFTST only comes with the generic Indy and the generic Germans. By the way, the info on RFTST should say 4 figs, not three. I also think that these two sets (or maybe just RFTST) can be compared to the River Chase set.

Not a bad idea, but it's a little...useless. I mean, people get lucky finding news and posting it here, or by finding it (like in a catalog) themselves. If you really have a knack for being right about rumors and such, you could be like Sam89, a Shadow Admin (who is a master at finding and confirming news and rumors). So, no, I don't think this is a good idea. Besides, how could the "News Academy" work like the RA? You can't really be taught to find good news, it's just luck and natural snooping skills.

Get a walrus to do it. But really, I think that soap or grease should work fine. If not, I would apply CopMike's scientific solution, and heat up the bucket so it expands. Good luck!

In terms of Lego, I got the Jungle Cutter, Temple Escape, and King's Castle Seige sets. I'm a little disappointed (but not ungrateful ) that I didn't get any SW sets this year, but I'll just end up buying them myself. I also got GH World Tour, Mario Kart Wii, and Wii Fit, plus a ton of DVDs including TDK, Iron Man, and the IJ series. And of course, clothes.

Is this the snail tank? In any case, it doesn't seem too interesting at the moment. At the risk of sounding cliche'd, this is just as I suspected; an add-on to the Hoth Rebel Base from '07, hopefully modular. I will definitely get this set, and hopefully the Hoth Rebel Base along with it. Any idea on what it looks like? The "green guy" is presumably Nute Gunray, but I have no clue who the fig in orange could be. For now, this remains a mystery. Sounds interesting enough, hopefully it will be less than the rumored 50 USD. Now this sounds very interesting! The figs all sound great, especially those Endor rebels. I hope you're right about the AT-ST. Maybe, just maybe, this will be the Venator from Episode III, at the beginning. It would be much better to have a non-CW Palpy, and hopefully it will include 501st troopers. Thanks a lot, you two! As Oky Wan said, it's odd that the Magnaguards don't have those black markings on their capes. Using a foot as the pilot droid's head seems awfully strange, but I won't know until I see it for myself. Count Dooku looks surprisingly good, even if he is CW style. Awesome torso and lightsaber hilt; it looks like TLG brought back the old mold from 2002 instead of just using Asaaj's. It looks chrome to me... if it is, this set must be exclusive. No, KimT is doing a fine job by himself, it's just that some people fail to listen... Apparently not. The trans-purple pieces (lately) have appeared in the Magnaguard Starfighter, Assassin Droid BP, and Solar Sailer as 1x1 cones, and in the Republic Dropship as a lightsaber blade. Maybe they decided to hold off on canceling purple, or decided against it entirely. Whatever it is, hopefully purple is here to stay.

Thanks for the review. This set really is awesome, and a major improvement over the last version. The new Darth Vader and his metallic lightsaber make this set quite a steal, if you haven't bought the DS. By the way, you might want to change the poll to not being multiple choice.

I mainly want Ki-Adi Mundi, but I would also like Shaak Ti and Aayla Secura. I wouldn't mind Saesee Tinn and Agen Kolar/ Eath Koth (same person?). I'm not too worried about Stass Allie, but as I've said many times before, an Order 66 series would be awesome, especially to get these Jedi.

Very nice review, thank you. This set seems average to me, with nothing really special about it (just like Anakin's JSF in 2008). The colors of the fighter and Vulture droid are great, but a lime and white astro droid body doesn't really go with the maroon head or even the whole set. Ashoka looks the same, but I wish that TLG would make her look a lot skinnier, like in the show. Those metallic lightsabers sure are great, though (of course, they'll never replace chrome! ).

Ah, my mistake, I thought the white square in the key was referring to the large ones, like 71 and 50. I'll see if I can find enough bricks to expand it. Thanks Stol and Thrash.

Very nice work, ISC and Thrash! ISC, what I really like about yours is that the top level can come off, and there's that little hole in the top level that allows the figs to get to the staircase. Thrash, I really like your barber shop, and the Sweeny Todd parody. Nice addition of the blood and bandages (red and white) sign.

Very nice review, Dunamis. You've convinced me that this set isn't so bad after all, and I just might get it. It is a little stubby, and the colors aren't great, but the design and play features on this are pretty cool. Plus, the figures are neat (although I would have liked at least one more).

Great church, Thrash and Stol! I really like the curved tower and the wooden Jesus. I (finally) made one of my additions, the Wine Cellar of the first floor of the keep. Here it is: The door is part of the 4 stud wide hallway. Don't worry- those holes in the wall actually do something. The inside contains rows and rows of red wine, which is what the holes on the outside were for. Note the spider web- looks like this place isn't on the janitor's hit-list. Here we have a crate full of various wines and rums, complete with fancy corks. And a back shot, showing the wooden wall. I didn't have enough pieces to make a wall or a hallway, since I'm only about a fourth of the way done sorting, and don't have many blet/ dark bley bricks to begin with, or at least not the ones I need. I also considered putting in a ladder, but there just wasn't enough room. As always, feedback is welcome.
