  1. This one looks very much like the original rock monster. These two sets for the Summer wave both look good, but not entirely desirable for me. So many great sets, so little cash. It looks like we'll get two colors of the large rock monsters this year: red and yellow.
  2. Wow, these are impressive. To me, this new line is the ultimate Space comeback, blending old and new ideas. Space Police III appears to based more on vehicles than actual "sets", like Star Wars and Power Miners. The vehicles look very nice; sleek, cool, and classic. We also get lots of new molds, for extra incentive to buy these. I can't really say much else, but I look forward to some reviews.
  3. Thanks for finding the pictures, Hinckley. All of these sets look pretty good to me, although I wouldn't pay more than 20 USD for the Graveyard Duel. We also get some interesting new molds, like the Fez and Elsa's hair, which should both be useful. Personally, I like it very much. The design is good, since one-man planes were blocky like that in the front. It looks pretty sturdy, too, and should be able to be swooshed around. The pilot does look like another Bruce Wayne, though... Yes, they have. I know he already answered you, but I think he means that TLG might take it too far (or they already have). All of these new molds kind of take away from that creativity that old molds provide. While I think that this is true, I really am grateful for the new molds, since we as a fan community have asked for them (how many Fez customs have I seen...?). It might raise the price on the sets, but IMO, a few extra dollars are worth it. More molds = more creativity, not less. (IMO).
  4. Neat, new pics. Even though these aren't final yet, they look very good compared to the pictures from a few weeks ago. The Separatist Shuttle looks very small, but pretty accurate and well-designed. It seems that one of the battle droids in the prelim picture has been replaced with a clone with a rifle. Plus, the two battle droids have the twisted arms. New Gunray headpiece mold, new prints, and maybe a new Rodian head. The Hoth set is also looking good, and the Taun-Taun looks different (with new horns!). I prefer the old goggle mold over these new ones, though. The new ones look sort of big for a minifigure, but I appreciate all of these new molds. I can see the prices on the Solo hood dropping dramatically... The Y-Wing looks about the same. The Endor bunker looks as good as ever... The Snail Tank looks the same, too, and I'm almost certain that the jetpack(s?) are preliminary. It looks like it's another great year for Lego Star Wars.
  5. Was that Sandy in the first picture? Anyways, great comic yet again, Hinckley. Very funny, and KimT is portrayed perfectly. ( ) I liked how many Eb members were in this one, especially Alex54 as the Manta Ray (it was him, right?). Sir Dillon transformed into Deinochyus (or however the hell you spell it )! Was the buff KimT reference from this? "I only had enough to spell "Hinck".
  6. This is a tough one... On one hand, we have the Mortorcycle Chase, which includes two new mortorcycles, a brick built sidecar, a neat gatehouse, new crates, and three amazing figures, plus accesories. I really like the Indy and Henry figures, especially Henry's (the head is very detailed, as well). You can never go wrong with an extra Nazi figure, either. A classic set from a classic movie that will never be forgotten. And on the other hand, we have Jungle Duel from the new movie. It includes a very cool tent with the rare cloth piece, a neat sword rack, two tables, a clever fire, and three more great figures. There's plenty of accessories to go around in this set, and I enjoyed building the different items of the set, and the three (not two) giant ants are something new. I ended up voting for Mortorcycle Chase, since it was my first Indy set, and the most useful to me. Although Jungle Duel has lots of neat things (the lantern especially), it leaves something to be desiredm such as an Oxely figure. But both are great sets that I own, and are wonderful additions to the Indy collection.
  7. Or are you? Vote: Erdbeereis No it doesn't. Anyways, neat kitchen, Erdie, I really like the little design techniques, such as the arches over the windows. It's good to have you on our side. And also, good Prince's Quarters, NewRight. I really like that plant, using the upside-down shrubs. Of course, great gatehouse ISC. I'm guessing that you have Medieval Market Village...?
  8. The new layout looks great, Thrash. I agree that some things shouldn't all be in one area, like guard kiosks. I look forward to seeing some of these modules. And great work on all of the new modules, everyone.
  9. Great finale, Oky Wan, if a little late. I'll add these things to the index later today: Simonjedi's picture and bio Oky Wan's finale and deleted scene JD's new bio Thanks for adding these. Now, we wait...
  10. Ah, thanks for the info. A shame, but maybe I'll get lucky...
  11. Hello, and welcome to the Star Wars Comic Game: Season Two. This thread is for all story-related content. Meaning, only posts contributing to the story go here. If you would like to join, comment on the story, or ask a question, please post in the SWCG Index thread. You can also view rules, indexes, and much more there.
  12. Thanks. At first I thought you meant that you had a love interest in Season Two, as in the game itself. But yeah, it would be fine. Just don't have any long, boring Ani-Padme "love" scenes, like in RotS. coughcoughnoparadoxescough. I'll open the Season Two thread now, but do not post in it until Oky Wan makes the first post this weekend. I'll be away for the weekend, but I'll see you guys on Sunday afternoon. Have fun with the new season! Oh, and please bring the discussion over to the Index thread. Thanks.
  13. Benny! It's really good to see you here again! Sorry, we had to kill you off in the game, but please feel free to make a guest appearance at any time, or (if you have time, become a full player). PM me when you're ready to play (however far away that may be), and we'll arrange for you to play. Maybe sooner than you think. No, not really, but I'll rearrange them soon. I'll have the chapter 4 index done tonight... hopefully. I'll add your content to the index, as well. EDIT: The MOC index is now complete. Sorry that it took so long... everyone may now bring the discussion over to the Index thread, and the new season will begin shortly. I just have to work out a few last-minute details with Oky Wan. If a moderator so kind as to closing this topic, I would be most grateful.
  14. Hey KimT, spectacular work on the indexes so far. This is just a suggestion, but maybe links could be included for the set numbers? I can never identify a set by just it's number. I know that it would be a lot more work, but I can help out with that, if you want.

    New City MOC

Ah, excellent. Mine is this: If you don't have that rare torso, you can just use a Nazi one. My sigfig could appear in the comic store, since it is basically a SW character. Hopefully it will make an appearance, and I look forward to seeing your city street.
  16. Thanks for the link, Erdie. Ambush in Cairo looks like a neat little set, with three figures (Indy, Samurai, and Merchant/ Marion), a cheese cart (hopefully the Tommy gun will stay), and a market stand. Not bad for 10 USD. The Fighter Plane Attack doesn't look as good, though. The planes seem really unfinished and stubby, although these are preliminary. The figures leave nothing to be desired- they're the exact characters as in the movie. I was hoping, though, that we would get the car that Indy and Henry Sr. stole for an extra 10 dollars. I estimate 40 USD for this, 30 if we're lucky. Indy '09 is looking great so far, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Graveyard set.
  17. Wow, great work, guys! ISC, very cool tree house. I can only see five animals, though... DarkAgent, neat Knight's Quarters. Just as I'd imagine one to be, except maybe with bunk beds. I also like all of the modules put together. Maybe you should just rebuild the whole Castle? You certainly have enough pieces. And Thrash, you've done it once again. The tavern is very detailed. I especially like the Dragon entrance, the dart game, the kitchen, and the secret stash. Very nice work on the dock, too. You're going to have to let our team have some of your MOCer's, we're way behind.
  18. Well, I think that it's up to the builder to decide what's appropriate and what's not. They are also able to decide whether to share the MOC (online or otherwise) or not. People who view the MOC that are perhaps offended should just keep it to themselves- just like in any displayed pieces (writing, artwork, Lego...). People who rant about little things such as a 9/11 MOC are usually ignored or annoying, so no big deal if someone comes along and complains (at least online).
  19. No, it's alright. Besides- I just finished chapters 1 and 2. That was a lot easier than I thought, and I'll have 3 and 4 up hopefully later today. It's a shame that some pictures are too large or missing- MacK's pictures (missing) would have made up half of the first two chapters. I'll PM him to see if he wants to provide the deeplinks again. EDIT: Oh, I forgot. In some of your posts with pictures, Pr0, you did not give credit to the person who originally made the MOC. It is very important that you do, otherwise your photo edited pictures will not appear in the index. Thanks. EDIT 2: 3 is done, and 4 will be done sometime... soon.
  20. I saw "Dooku Captured" and "Gungan General". The storytelling was good, but I still don't understand why Dooku, Obi-Wan, and Anakin could have gotten captured by a few dozen pirates. I mean, if 200 Jedi could hold their own against a 10,000+ CIS army, then wouldn't three badass characters be able to easily defeat the pirates? Also, Jar Jar's voice sounded sort of weird...
  21. Gran Torino A really sad movie, with a really bittersweet ending. Some of the parts that were supposed to be funny weren't really funny to me, although seeing a 70 year old man beat a gangster's megablocks was hilarious. Overall, an above average movie.
  22. Sorry, it's no T.V. week.
  23. Has anyone seen the Republic Fighter Tank at their local Target(s) lately? I went to mine yesterday, and sadly, the place where the tank used to be is now replaced with Power Miners. I hope I can still get one...
  24. Thanks. The mannequins are supposed to be creepy. They always have creeped me out. By the way, what do you mean the guy with no arms or legs? It's another mannequin, with legs. Thanks, at least someone likes my mannequins.
  25. Alright, alright. Here's the deal: if I don't finish the MOC index by Sunday, go ahead and start. We can start without the index, it's just that I wanted to be sure that all of the pictures would fit. And they will. With extra space. After the game starts, everyone can post in the Index thread. For the time being, I'd say so. Like I said, the game hasn't even started yet, so there's no problem (yet). The semester hasn't ended yet (for me)- the holiday break was right before the finals, and then semester 2 starts. I'll try my best to get those done before the deadline...
