  1. Wow, spectacular. The feet are perfect, and the whole thing looks exactly like the movie's version. I can't wait to see more from you.
  2. Hey, Dennimator, I see my sigfig on the list. I know that my sigfig's torso only comes in two sets to date, but that's easily fixed. It's perfectly fine if you use a Nazi torso instead. You find all of the parts needed in just about any Original Indy set, except for the brown police cap.
  3. "This is just like in that one movie!" said Jim. "What?" asked Oky Wan, with a raised eyebrow. "You have to stick the dynamite in him! You have to.... never mind." Once the clones were inside, Butcher slammed the accelerate. "Here we go!" Just as the tank got out of the clearing, the metal parts reassembled themselves. If the cyborg had a head, it would laugh. It ran in pursuit of the tank.
  4. I had the exact feeling when I bought the Flying Wing yesterday... Sorry, I'm done ranting. Nope, thanks. I'm loving all of the new molds and prints, TLG is being very generous this year. A few things to be noticed in the sets: - In the Cairo set, it seems that the Tommy Gun is still included. I know that these are prelim, but we can hope. The Samurai has an Orc sword, hopefully to be replaced with a Scimitar. Also note the golden dish on the market stand and the tan barrel (one of the raffle items in the Avatar raffle). There are lots of new prints in here as well, Marion's new face print being my favorite. Lastly, the bandit has that rare mask. - In the Venice chase, we get another Tommy gun, plus new prints, new hair, and new hats (forgot the name... ). It appears that "Marcus" turns out to be another Cruniform Sword member. - Note the black telescope pieces in the Plane Chase. - There are also lots of new prints in the Temple of Doom set. Some include an alternate Willie torso, a new Indy head (my tall head senses Indy 4 MOCs!), and very detailed Mola Ram and minion torsos. That Ram headpiece looks amazing! I know that a few of these were pointed out before, but I'm just laying out what we know about the new pieces and prints. Yes, but some things still may change (like the sword in the Cairo set). I'm really looking forward to more Indy; this line seems to be heading in the right direction.
  5. Nice little MOC, I haven't seen any Western vigs in a while. The thing that always reminds me most of the Wild West is the gold rush, and you've illustrated that mental picture of mine perfectly. Great use of that piece that holds the gold coins together, I'm glad I keep those kind of things.
  6. My eyes!! Republicforces, please learn how to resize your pictures. There are some excellent tutorials here that may be be helpful to you. Thanks. And to everyone: I apologize for being inactive here recently, I've been busy with school and life. I'll have my camera back on Friday, so maybe I'll take some pics over the weekend. You guys have been doing a fantastic job, though.
  7. You- Candlebox Ah, the '90s...
  8. I assume that you have some guy with a gun, but that's nothing that this guy can't take care of.
  9. We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas... Happy Birthday KimT! May your day be filled with joy and Lego! And Happy Birthday to Bobskink, too!
  10. I wholeheartedly agree. My personal favorite so far. This one not only had a great story and conflict, but the action, creatures, and vehicles were cool, especially those enclosed speeders (I'd like to see a MOC of it some time). The whole episode had an overall "conventional" vibe to it (espionage, small trooper groups).
  11. Oh, shut up. Would you rather have figures that we get in every other set, or ones that we've always wanted, and never gotten before? And I think it's safe to say that the Mon Calamari Cruiser won the poll. Hopefully it will be the full ship, rather than an A-Wing and a control room.
  12. Your new avatar is quite similar to Hinckley's sigfig. Same hjat (different color), similar head, etc. You also look similar, like Cpt. PB said. But you're probably not as short as him. And of course your name.
  13. "Gah! How did we get into this mess?!" said Jim, annoyed. "Well, we're here. Maybe not in one piece, but here. We'd better check on the others, and make sure everyone is alive." He stepped towards the door. As soon as he did, the ship shifted and creaked. "Stop!" warned Oky Wan. "The ship is unstable... we must be balancing on the ravine. ANy movement might cause the ship to fall in...". Everyone's faces turned pale. "We have to get out of here, before the ship falls by itself." said Jim. "Oky Wan, carry JD to the door, very slowly. Slide your feet. I'll go warn everyone else". Jim slid out of the room.
  14. Yes, just read the rules, and you should be set (after you provide a picture of your character and a bio). I'm also glad to see all of these MOCs already, good work I'll get around to indexing them (as well as Oky's deleted scene and finale) tomorrow, possibly today. And welcome to Jifel, as well. One post in the story thread, and you already have a MOC posted. I didn't add your character picture to the character section, but the bio is up. Since your images are too large (they're fine for now), you may want to try to change the settings of your camera so that your pictures are 640x480 in size. If Brickshelf uploads them large, or you can't change the size, I suggest Flickr.com, since it's easy to use and automatically resizes your pictures. I also updated Simonjedi's profile.
  15. Cool midnette. I like how you combined old and new parts, like Ep. III Obi-Wan with his new hair. Both minifig results are great, and I ought to try that. Good SNOT techniques, too.
  16. Thanks, sam89. Lok Durd... does it really matter? I'll be happy to take any Nemodian, since all of them in minifigure version will be Nute Gunray to me. Just like Ashoka was Shaak Ti to me. The Venator looks a lot better now; slim, long, and relatively sleek. Personally, I think the Endor base is fantastic. If the set itself isn't up to par, you get 10 great minifigures, an AT-ST, a catapult, two speeder bikes, and some parts (the base isn't anything special). Finally, in the Separatists shuttle, I take back what I said about the clone being included. Like in other Toy Fair pictures, some of the minifigs are switched around. From these new picture from jedinews.com, I'd say that there's two battle droids (plus the Nemodian and the Rodian).
  17. Attack of the Clones? Even though they lost, they actually put up a fight with a huge army rather than one powerful Sith fighting a few dozen pirates. In the episode commentary of the episode (forgot the name), Filoni pointed out that the Senator that died in the shuttle crash had a staff similar to the Staff of Ra from RotLA. Another Indy-SW crossover.
  18. End of the universe.
  19. Good ol' iron oxide.
  20. I don't remember what it stands for, but it means off-topic, not related to story blabber, etc. I think it means "Out Of Character", but I'm not sure... And I still haven't done those updates, but I will, rest assured. I also wanted to say that "planning the story" should be avoided in this season. What I mean is that posts discussing the story and how it should turn out really take away from the creativity of the game. The game allows players to base their posts off of posts previous of theirs, no matter what it is. If you're really confused, it's okay to ask a question, but other than that, just try to post like the real character would react. I think that we did this too much in the first season, so this time we'll do it differently. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to ask.
  21. My favorite figure ever is probably the one that Algernon nominated, except the version that I remember has an all-black helmet (no printing), and black shoulder pads. The worst, IMO, would definitely be these.
  22. I guess I just lost interest (I picked "other" in case you were wondering ). I used to only collect Bionicle as a kid (maybe I'm still a kid to some of you), with little or no system sets. I did a little minifig customizing here and there, but that was just childish tinkering. I was too young to be interested in the internet or news (in anything; hobbies, local incidents, etc.), so I just bought (or begged my parents) whatever I saw at the store. I bought Bionicle from the beginning (2000 or so) until 2004. The only sets before that that I can remember are a 1999 Star Wars set and a 1999 RoboRiders set (I probably got some sort of Duplo or Classic set as a small child, but that's another story). Anyways, I lost interest in Bionicle just like any other hobby that a kid has. When Revenge of the Sith came out, I bought a few sets, but I really didn't care for Lego at all. I finally came out of my 3-year drak age in 2007, with the release of the Clone Battle pack. Not a very long story, but neither is my life. I never really worry about other people's opinions on my hobby, either, so it was never a factor in my dark age.
  23. Hey, don't worry about it. Hinckley did a fine job at closing, opening, pinning, and unpinning these topics for us. Thanks, Hinck. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that OOC no longer exists in the story thread, which is what this topic is for. I'm going easy on you now, but any more of that in the future, and there will be trouble. Oh, and nice banner Oky Wan. Sorry, JD, but this one was pretty cool. And I'll get to work on those updates in a second.
  24. Wonderful, new pictures. Drawbrige Defense looks pretty good. I'm loving the new Queen minifig. We also get the Jester fig which was previously only available in the Advent Calendar. I'm also glad that TLG decided to be generous by giving us a real golden knight instead of a yellow or orange one. I'm estimating this one will for around 30 USD. The Troll Fortress, however, doesn't look that great. It's a lesser version of the King's Castle Siege, IMO, and I imagine that the price will be high. We also get yet another King... wouldn't a dwarf (or even a dwarf king?) or a human prince be a wiser choice? I have to say that the Troll Queen is awesome, though. Now this I agree with. It will all depend on the price for me... I'm glad that TLG decided to take it down a notch with Castle this year, too, since all of the other great lines (Space Police, SW, etc.) will be eating up my money.
