Infection - Confirmation & Discussion
JimBee replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've heard of it, don't really know what it is... but never mind, I'll look it up. I get Susan Antares' name now, after seeing Star Trek. EDIT: And Cheipo's. -
You're right, but I did change the battle pack prices. In fact, I actually think the Tri-Droid, Landspeeder, and Freeco will be about 15 USD each. Sorry about that. But the TIE Defender really is 50 USD, or at least, that's what's been confirmed up until now.
-
Thanks, legomilk, I'll silently rant about those prices. In USD, I think the prices will be around these: LEGO Star Wars™ - 8083 Rebel Trooper™ Battle Pack $9.99 LEGO Star Wars™ - 8084 Snowtrooper™ Battle Pack $9.99 LEGO Star Wars™ - 8085 Freeco Speeder™ $25.00 ( ) LEGO Star Wars™ - 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter™ $25.00 LEGO Star Wars™ - 8087 TIE Defender™ $50.00 LEGO Star Wars™ - 8088 ARC-170 Starfighter™ $70.00 LEGO Star Wars™ - 8092 Luke’s Landspeeder™ @25.00 There's a reason he said that, quick edit messes up some symbols.

Good point... hmm, I'll have to think more about this. Yes, and fortunately enough, I just barely escaped that death. I think now that some think of me as more trustworthy then on day 2, but I suppose you deserve that chance, too... So who are you planning on voting for? *SLAP* Like I said yesterday, pull yourself together! Open your eyes and ears, and make a decision. You're really getting on my nerves, and I wonder if you play these games... of life just to say you can. You make a choice and help at least try to save us, or sit there and cry. I'll repeat what I said earlier, regarding the evidence on Antares and Wicwa: - Wicwa seemed to be trying to throw some blame on Barney yesterday, even though he was proven innocent. I don't remember her exact words, but she said something about him "having a chance of being untrustworthy". - L'Rok went after Wicwa last night, and it is very possible that the infected killer got to him first. - Antares... has been acting... suspicious lately, and if you were awake yesterday, you should be able to remember exactly what went down.

I thought the sub-titles seemed random. It would help if I actually knew what you were referring to. What's B5? -
Could you please explain a little bit how that works? If Rok was going after Wicwa, wouldn't he end up killing her, instead of getting killed himself? Which comes first, the vigilante or the infected killer? Easily. You could easily be making this up. It's not that hard to think up a role to save yourself. While what you claim is plausible, whether it's true or not is irrelevant. You're still a threat to the uninfected, space worm or not. Being neutral doesn't mean you're for the uninfected, and you could be working close with the infected to save your own skin. So when the time comes, I will vote for you. And your claims about Susan... are irrelevant as well. How can any of us know that you're not blaming an innocent, or helping us? You'll have to provide us with some sort of idea of your purpose. Are you with us uninfected or not? Prove it. Unless the infection has spread.

Watch what? You asked a question and I answered it... for the third time. Meanwhile, your pretty hyper this morning aren't you? didn't you get any sleep, or were out and about last night? Well, if you want to keep looking for clues that way, be my guest. But I guess she would be a bastard host to this ship if Ivanova was lying. Yup, but there's someone else. Exactly. I trusted L'Rok through and through, and now I really believe Wicwa to be infected. In addition to what you said, I remember yesterday she was still trying to throw suspicion on the late Barney, even though he was already proven innocent. And I do believe she might have tampered with the investigation results, so I'm still not sure if Barney was paranoid or insane. If we vote off Wicwa today, and she's infected, I'll never doubt you again, Susan. *you're- first sentence. I know you'd kill me for that. *second sentence.
-
 Ohh, now I'm mad. I'm definitely keeping with my vote when I cast it today. I already told you yesterday, she said the security tapes and stills have no clues in them. As a security cheif, shouldn't you be attentive to these things?

Maybe he lost it promising about last years prizes.

First off, I'd like to say that these are excellent, Rayman. Wonderful work on replicating the basic design of the real stickers. I have a question, though- what are the exact dimensions (in pixels or inches) of the stickers? I made my own nose art using one of yours, and I printed out only to realize they were too big for the slopes. I would showcase my art, but I don't want the surprise spoiled just yet. EDIT: Never mind, I did a little research, and my question has been answered:
-
Nah, you're fine. It's just members like these... well, this is the first spambot, but I've had at least two other newbies come to me asking if they could play in the past few months. It's not that big of a bother that they throw me a message, but it just irritates me that they couldn't see that no one was posting here, and the game is long over. First post will be updated.
-
I've jsut updated mine. I'm going with my tradition of using an elf hat instead of a Santa one. I'm a rebel!

Actually, that's the part that bothers me. It's neat, but it's... cartoony. And the engines, although I applauded them before, look almost comical. It's a nice looking set, but I feel that it just isn't as realistic as the old version. What do you mean? This has been one of the most wanted OT vehicles of all time- the whole set is new! I would like this one to add to my bley TIE collection, but I heard it's going to cost a lot. I agree, they really take away from the aerodynamic look of the windshield piece, especially if you can't cover that part up. But on the other hand, I'll be glad to not have to put them back on every five seconds when they fall off. I think it's the best that could be done, except for making the new part a flat, square tile instead of a raised, rounded one. There were printed trans-black windows in the first one. Cool piece, but I didn't like them in the set since you could see the pilot's legs and arms through them. Not very good for protection, are they? You're right, I didn't notice that before. I wonder why they did this... perhaps since they will stop producing orcs after the Fantasy line is done?

Back and forth, back and forth... who to trust, who to vote for... I have learned the same information. At least both of their stories are straight. What you've presented against Rok in the past few days certainly seems reasonable, and even very likely. But it also seems that Susan is spreading confusion. I do believe that one of these two is infected, and that person is very likely to be the killer. But rather than taking a risk, I think it would be wise to not let Barney go in vain, and follow his investigation results. If he is insane, Engofi is almost 100% positively infected. And from my past experiences in these games... of life, even if we do convict the infected killer, the job simply gets passed on to the next in line, and so forth. And I have trusted Rok throughout this predicament, and he's trusted and defended me. So, after some thinking, I will vote. Vote: Cheip Engofi/ Eskallon
-
Agreed. I'm beginning to trust Susan more now, if that means anything, so I think we should vote off Engofi. No, remember she said that there weren't any clues in the security cameras? But it is curious that she gets to change every day and we don't. Sure, go ahead. I've got no problem being investigated, if we have another investigator. Yesterday you said I was trustworthy- what happened to that? What are you talking about? He wasn't completely trustworthy when there was a doubt about his medical status, but all of his intentions were good, since he turned out to be uninfected. What are you trying to say here? Yet you had four Earth cycles to vote. I remember in a story with Dragons and Sorcerers, this one guy, Ralf Simmnel, I think, avoided voting almost the whole game, making up excuses like these to get along.
-
What? This is old. I have no idea what you're talking about. Spambot? Since no one can leave this alone, can I request that this be unpinned, please? I've had at least 3 people in as many months ask me about it.

Wow, great entries, everyone! My points go as follows: Admiral Croissant- 1 (Nice concept, I especially like the clouds and the door). Tereglith- 1 (Good job on taking advantage of no height limits. I like the tree technique). Lego Warlord 8- 1 ( ) Tombricks- 1 (Again, taking advantage of no height restrictions. Simple, yet effective). Pellaeon- 2 (Very creative. You stepped off of the beaten path to make vignette in an unusual shape). Mariann Asanuma- 1 (MINI!)
-
Grr... I had doubted him, and now he's dead! He was trustworthy, so I do think he was insane. If he got infected results for Sarah and un-infected results for Engofi, that must mean... And another thing to notice, there was only one killer out again last night. What does this mean?
-
Agreed, on all of this. In response to everyone (spaceMonkey, TheOtteres, etc.) who is talking about this, I suppose it's really a personal preference, not a preference of the AFOL community in general. I like Flickr because it's fast, easy to navigate, and I can mingle with other FOLs without spamming up the forums. I did try BS at the beginning of my renewed Lego hobby, but I found it too slow. I know your supposed to do something with your .zip files, but I just think it's easier to upload directly from my Lego folder. I'm not trying to make anyone use Flickr, but I was just suggesting it. We each have our own preferences, mine being a fast uploaded for only about an average of 20 pics that I upload monthly. Create more IDs, possibly with different Emails if you need to. I've never needed more than one account, so I'm exactly sure how it works.
-
Nope, completely different than those or Lego. They don't use studs, rather sliding knobs and slots. And trust me, I don't think any school in the world is going to have a budget to support Modulex bricks.
-
It's real, but the description says that those sculptures are made out of Mega Blox.
-
Okay, Miss Someone, I think you did a great job on this, and I can tell WhiteFang was very pleased to have this from you. The scene itself, IMO, is very nice, not too complicated, but it would make anyone be really thankful for you. I like the use of other craft things like the ribbons. The only feedback I would give you is to perhaps not glue it, or at least not so much. Unless those globs are snow or water. If that's the case, very crafty.
-
I'm pretty sure we don't, currently. There are a few who are close, particularly Captain Zuloo, and there have been GDs in the past (SW4J, and I noticed Mister Phes was in between his transfer from Admiral to Fellow). Did you make that profile just so you could say that you do have GDs? I like the post count. And the avatar (I think you left your bucket in the profile setup).
-
150 USD, huh? And you say it fits about ten cups? Large Pick-a-Brick cups filled to the brim with them? I suppose it could be worth it, especially considering it's square shaped and not cylindrical. Not that I'd blow $150 on PAB. Sounds good! I'll be coming to Chicago this holiday, but I'm going to the large store in Chicago. Maybe I could go to Woodfield instead, though. It would be cool to meet you!

Ooh, thanks Kim and Stash! I'll be making a new version of m raffle entry (hopefully much better than that last minute thing...) for the vignette. And hopefully I'll be able to join the other two categories as well.
