  1. Ahhhhh! *claps hands over Andrew's eyes* Don't look, don't look! Omygodohmygodohmygodohmygod. *SLAP* How dare you! My baby boy... yeah right. I'll have you know that says 1.00, not 100. It's the dollar I gave him not an hour ago, you buffoon!
  2. Wow, spectacular review, Rapseflaps! I had no idea that Space sets like these could be so... awesome. I agree that this set provides almost infinite playability, so I like that you depicted this with of of those pictures. I rate this an outstanding, hands down. I really hope they design a base like this for SPIII.
  3. Not even Merriam-Webster?
  4. Or maybe it's just you, tough guy. Yes, we were hit pretty bad when we were robbed, but I think you ought to focus on the real problem at hand. You've been talking quite a lot these past few hours, so if you've actually got something to say besides "Let's figure out what to do", then please share. Yes, you're right that the quiet ones may be sneaky, but maybe they've got nothing to say, nothing to go on. The only difference between you and them is that you're talking, but you're still not saying anything.
  5. Why are there so many ostriches? The pamphlet said there would only be a few ostriches! Anyways, cool sets, I especially like the thrid one. I'll be adding that to my Cairo Duel. And the fourth one looks similar to the booby-trapped temple in IJ: TLC. I wonder if those blades can move?
  6. Well, I never. *Whispers* Andrew dear, why don't you go play in backyard? Girls are yucky anyways, remember? Now, the rest of you, pipe down. You're all overexcited because of this incident, and throwing out random claims like being a nine-year-old spy, and I can see some of you trying to spread confusion. I agree with Mr. Lawyer Man that we all need to keep our heads on straight and think this through carefully. Now who wants pie?
  7. Ohh, don't worry, sweetie, everything will be fine. Sure, here you go, go buy yourself a gun lollipop. The big police officer's right, honey, just let them handle it. Maybe, if you survive you're good, we'll let you play outside for little while.
  8. Eeeeek! Oh this is terrible! Just terrible! Steven, what will we do? How can we protect our baby boy? *Sniff* Ohh... what do we do now?
  9. Bo-ay! I'll call you what you want, and you'll show me some respect! I was fighting in Vietnam before your mother was born, so I'd be a little more grateful. Pistol whip me, and you'll never see that hand again. What happened to contraband? And keep that wad of gum in your mouth before it ends up jammed in your eye socket. Hm! Youngsters these days... no respect all, nuh'n. The only reason I'm puttin' up with you is b'cause... is b'cause... well, that ain't none of you're n' business.
  10. Eh? Boy, don't you worry. You've got an experienced sailor here. Two if that other one... Charlie? Pulls himself together. Back in my day, we didn't have any cowards like that'n. That's reassuring, eh? You best not be telling lies, boy. Ehhhhh... I don't wanna hear one word about diamonds or rubies out of your mouth, you little hooligan.
  11. I'll leave that to Sieg... Eh? What kind of madness is this? Ay, give that back!
  12. I'd like to view this pamphlet. Might as well distract myself from the tour guide...
  13. Very nice! My favorites would have to be the AT-TE and the LAAT/c. But I don't understand which pieces you're using to attach those two models- you said pulley wheel... and for the SPHA-T, what 2/3 cyndrilical pieces are you talking about? Is it possible to provide links or solo pictures? It would be much appreciated to know these stud-inversion techniques.
  14. Yay! It's up! Just one question: Will you be sending us stats for Life Points and/ or attack/ defense points?
  15. Eh whassat? Speak properly, boy, or I'll have your sunglasses. Now, this ferry we're going on. Did it pass all 56 preliminary-sail checks? No? When we get there I'm going to check. Never trust anyone but a sailor to do all 56 preliminary checks. I'd like to discreetly peek under the chairs on the bus, and check the bathroom (if one exists). Ahoowah! Gotta make sure there's no dangerous chemicals in the latrine. *Grunt* I used to be a chemist, you know.
  16. Remember that it's not your post count or rank that counts, it's how good of a member you are and how you play. Obviously Bob and Legios trusted you, so they did not consider your ranking.
  17. The Midwest already got a few inches a couple of weeks ago, and maybe and inch or so more this week. I'm glad there wasn't been much this year, I absolutely HATE snow. It's a pain to shovel (especially when it's wet or frozen), it turns black after while, and slipping on ice is no fun. It's also dangerous, whether you're driving in a snowstorm or getting hit in the face with a snowball ( ). If I had it my way, there would be a few inches of light, fluffy snow on Christmas, and that would be it for the year.
  18. Excellent decals, agi2007! Those are some really spectacular drawings, I'll have to try them out sometime. I also made some custom decals, for my Xmasifactor contest entry. Here they are: Enjoy! Feel free to use these, but please give credit where it's due.
  19. Hello! To get in the holiday spirit, I decided to enter the Xmasfactor category of this year's Star Wars Christmas contest. The set I "Xmasified" was the Republic Gunship. [Full Size Version] Some things to notice here are the giant wreaths surrounding either gunner bubble, the addition of dark green and dark red pieces, and the Christmas trees on either door on the sides. Note the trans- red and green cones on the forward guns- there is also another trans-green one on the rear gun (not pictured). The custom nose decals were created by me, with the help of Rayman's template. I don't have any sticker paper, so I printed out the decals, covered them in clear tape to make them look like stickers, and then applied them to the nose pieces. If you're interested, you can use the decals as long as you give credit (LINK). This little elf didn't even need to wear a funny green suit, he was already green. Throw in the pointy ears and this little guy fits right into the job description. Also note the Taun-Taun. Let's hope he doesn't leave an extra little gift for Santa! "Santa" is driving the RGS, so naturally, he couldn't forget these valuable items. Are they Stormtrooper helmets or koala-shaped potty chairs? Residing in the compartment behind the nose is this little vehicle, in case Santa needs to make a quick detour. Before you do anything else, PLEASE take a look at the rest of the photos in my Flickr Set. So that's my Xmasfactor entry, I hope you enjoyed it! Happy Holidays!
  20. Haha, thanks for this, JD, this really made me laugh! "Yoink! I'll take that, thanks Dac!" Regarding the MOC itself, I like how you used the 1x1 round bricks as smoke and as a stand for the foot. Using the crystal as sparks was a nice idea, too. Good luck.
  21. I always look forward to the large entries. Even though the small and medium categories are fun, these are always the ones of the highest quality. Mi siete punto voy a: I Scream Clone- 2 Points Infomaniac- 1 Point kris kelvin- 1 Point marshal_banana- 2 Points evildead- 1 Point Good luck to all, and excellent entries everyone.
  22. Hello! I'm Lucy, Andrew's mommy and Steven's wife. I don't run the bank, I just stand here and look pretty. Because you're not good enough to be one of us Because the man in the white suit made a little mistake, honey, that's all. Don't you worry your cute little cheeks off.
  23. I like it. Way to go all out on the color scheme, and nice idea with the wreath as a wing flap. One suggestion, though- the dark bley Vulture droid head sticks out among the red and green, so maybe you could take the sticker off of that piece and put it on a different colored piece like that head? Also, those medium blue vents are cool, but why are they there?
  24. I just guessed- it was probably one of the only mystery/mafia games before I started here, so I just figured. Too lazy to go look for the topic.
  25. Well said. I really liked Hinckley's solution to this- he picked members that he knows he can trust because of their behavior in general on the boards. It's great that so many people want to play, but if they're not active/ reliable members to begin with... Maybe because it's only the second one you've asked to be in. (By the way, what was your first? Mystery Ship?)
