  1. Okay, go ahead. I already said what needed to say about that. I get it- vote for your own survival. My opinion on Jad Duur still stands, and hopefully you'll learn that someone blamed me before I voted. The only difference is that he didn't specifically vote for me, but did present his suspicions before I did mine.
  2. Good, then you can take the blame when I turn up loyal. Lieutenant, Commander... you're not much at all either way. Attitude? Attitude. What do you expect me to do when someone comes after me, even before I vote? And when everyone hops the bandwagon, sure, no problem. Good, exactly, and good riddance. That's quite funny that you call me that, actually. I wonder where I got the idea of using imagery and drama in these situations?
  3. Hah, suppose you're right, Lieutenant, but I was hoping that you of all people would see past these lies. Ah, well, go ahead, doom yourselves. Lose an pure, uninfected soul. It won't matter since every one of you will die, only you're just lowering your chances of survival by killing one of your own. Oh, and one request: if and when I'm off floating somewhere in deep space, and you find that I am loyal in the morning, don't bother mourning me. I'll be laughing, pitying, even, you poor souls that killed me because I was the first to propose anything. Thank you.
  4. Again, I was just offering my opinion on the screens. If you think that there is a serial killer, fine, but if I was one, would I be trying to hide it that obviously? Excuse me if I didn't consider that serial killer could be amongst us. Oh, you weren't even talking me? If you're going to kill me, at least acknowledge me. Or don't you have a good enough argument?
  5. Thanks for pointing that out, Front. It just so happens that Flickr member cjedwards posted this picture comparing the two: I like it. Not too dark to see through (trans-green), and an alternative to trans-neon green. I wonder what it's going to be called (officially)? And is this the color that's replacing trans-black? On another note, I have compared dark red pieces from pre-2008 and post-2008. Svelte describes the difference well- the pre-'08 pieces are a brighter, somewhat more translucent shade than post-'08. You wouldn't notice the difference without someone telling you, but there is. I'll try to get a pic, but the difference is so small that you might not be able to see it in a picture.
  6. I like the end the best. Sometimes building can seem like a chore for me (JSF w/ Hyperdrive Ring, for example), and I usually build on the floor where there's room, so I'm thankful that I can stretch after a long build. And there's always that gratification you get when completing a set. I also enjoy building the minifigs- even if they do take the longest to build (at the beginning of the build, you have a hard time finding the pieces for large sets, and they're just too distracting. ). It's always fun to assemble them, give them weapons or other items, and even set them up in a line.
  7. I think the trans-neon green crystal is because it's way more common (and cheaper to produce?) than trans-yellow. How often do you actually see this color? Not often, I think. While having yellow crystals for this lava monster, is worth having a higher price for the set? The new lava monsters look great, by the way. I just picked up my first PM sets, and already I like the lava monsters better. I like how the spots and arms are black instead of dark bley (for cooled lava), and the eye shape is nice.
  8. Thanks for the review. This set actually doesn't look that bad to me, in fact I think it adds some variety to the line. 15 USD isn't bad, either. The ring isn't exciting, really, but the fig is what interests me. A new double0sided head print, and a neat helmet. If I happen to spot this one, I'll get it.
  9. I meant new recruit as in new to the ship, but yes, I meant that also. Let me give you a word of advice- basing suspicions on professions/ roles in these games... of life is not a smart idea. Just as voting based on appearance, the way they speak, etc. is unreasonable. No, you don't have to vote, but it's recommended. Kill one or all, it's up to you.
  10. I was just wondering if anyone was going to actually vote, I did not try to sway the vote towards Jad in any way, shape or form. I chose my vote, and that's fine if you think I'm suspicious, but you'll regret it. At least I am standing up for myself, Jad Duur didn't really deny that he was suspicious. New recruit, huh? What's your reason for voting? Follow the leader? Bandwagon hopping? You speak to me in private, asking for advice, and I told you to follow your own feelings. I didn't even try to get you to vote him off. Thank you, Barney, and Dillon. I am glad someone noticed this, because no one else seems to be in their right minds. Really? You're doing the same thing yourself. Again, I'm not trying to convince anyone to do anything, I just wanted to get something going. You can all vote for me if you really want to, but keep in mind who started this. If I turn up dead in the morning, think of who was accusing me earlier today, before I even voted or presented my suspicions.
  11. Is anyone else going to vote? Currently there are two votes for Jad Duur. I don't want to take shots in the dark, but what choice do have at this point?
  12. Ah, thanks. I can never tell since the official speeder from the clone battle pack has all of these guns- but I'm still not sure if they are guns. Bah. Make 'em have armor.
  13. Thanks for pointing that out sooner rather than later. I don't want to go crazy already. Hah, hah... hah... ha...
  14. I voted "long", but it depends on the theme- I like how evergreen themes (Space, Castle, Pirates, and Town) waver in and out of existence. You know a few years of sets here, a few years there. For themes such as SW and Indy, I'd personally like to see them for years and years. I'm sad that Indy is gone for good soon, but then again, it only had a year or so left with what could be done with it. Themes like Power Miners, Atlantis, and SPIII I would like to be short, with a max of three years running. These kind of themes are really neat, and I want to have every set in them, but I can imagine that after a while they would get really old (in terms of enjoyability). So yeah, it depends. I get what I can from each theme and hope it runs in the right amount of time.
  15. Darkness Falls, I don't think it works like that. This is a mafia game, and pretty much all of the time you can't change the situation, except by defeating the other team. For example, when you say you want to go to the engine room, you can't actually go there unless Quarryman says otherwise. Mafia games are pretty different from mystery games, and don;t have the free-roaming possibilities, instead the main objective is to simply win.
  16. Just throwing this out there, I found a similarity in the security captures: Here's a shot from last night: And here's a shot from yesterday: See the similarity? The killer, on the left side of both pictures, is posed in almost the exact same way. I don't know what this means, if anything, but I was hoping one you might.
  17. Hah, very clever. Blame the chefs because the aliens look like human food. A very dodgy move, Lieutenant, and while you may be on to something, I will not vote to convict the chefs because of the appearance of the aliens. I'm going to have to agree with you. We can't just stand by, we need answers. Jad Suur has been suspicious to me as well, so I'll support that vote. Vote: Jad Suur/ Darkness Falls Don't forget to revote, if you really want to convict this guy.
  18. Nice MOC. I liked the first version better, though I like how on both versions, the back part of the wings spike out. Great color scheme, I think dark blue works much better than regular blue in this instance. I have to ask, though, what was your inspiration to make this (besides the V-Wing)? It doesn't make much sense for Rex to have one of these, since they're primarily used to escort and guard the Chancellor's shuttle, and used by the Homeland Security legion. Cool idea, anyway.
  19. Nice work here, pedro. I like the smoothness of it, much better than the official version. I also like how you added those two pistols to the back, but I'm not sure what they're supposed to be. One thing that bothers me, though, is that the front (by the controls) is a little bare. The speeder could benefit from having some armor there.
  20. I was being defensive. Tensions are high, and I don't appreciate you suggest that I am infected.
  21. Er, no? I simply giving my point of view and a suggestion of what could have occurred here. I was not stating a fact, nor suggesting that anyone specifically was a night killer. Pointing fingers at me because of my deduction... perhaps you're the one trying to throw the trail off.
  22. There's a possibility that anyone is infected. Unless you want to call her out personally? Any information would help.
  23. This unbelievable! We've lost all engine power, and our pilot? Not to mention another non-infected... The way I see it, one of the infected killed one of the victims with a meaning to do so last night, and a non-infected made a terrible mistake. Careful, whoever the non-infected killer is... And now we only have 11 days to eradicate the infected. The problem is, who are they? Does anyone have any information gathered last night? Oh, and there goes my theory of someone being infected instead of killed at night.
  24. He's still got about 8 hours in my timezone... Happy Birthday, Zeph. Have a good one, and take a day off from Mafstraw.
  25. Hah, I don't really care what this was for, it made me laugh. I loved the part where they took off his helmet ("perhaps he's in a coma?"), and "oh he looks serious". And, "What's this? It's some sort of chrome... it's beautiful". And lastly, "Check out this dish, I think he might be signaling to his home planet". Thanks for sharing, CopMike.
