The story and setting are nice, ComputerBug, and it's great to see that the SWCG has started a trend. However, as the leader of the first of these kind of story games, I have to advise you that it is very difficult to run one. It takes a lot of commitment from all of the players, especially if you're making Lego scenes, and if it's long-term. Lack of activity will decrease interest, and the game will die quickly. You'll have to be very committed to pull it off. Also, could you please make the premise and rules clearer? Is it exactly like the SWCG or Apocalypse? What are we supposed to do? Just a piece of advice. I won't be joining up (this just isn't my kind of thing anymore, after running a game for over year), but I wish you good luck with this.

^ Hopefully that won't be you anytime soon. Happy Birthday!

Sure. Round 1, please.

I can adjudicate for anyone who still wants to duel.

Hello everyone. With the Indiana Jones theme coming to a close, I constantly admire the two years worth of Indy sets. I have collected most of the sets over the theme's short run time, and I have no regrets in doing so. Unlike other themes I collect, Indy allows me to set up scenes that depict a scene in the movies, or something else entirely, mostly thanks to the fact that many of the Indy sets go together nicely. So, instead of posting armies or vehicles side by side, this topic is for showing off your Indy collection and any layouts and MOCs you might have. I'll start it off by posting mine (sorry for the horrible pictures, the natural light comes from only one direction in my room). The whole collection on five shelves: Top shelf (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sets): Col. Dovencheko gets devoured by Saifu ants, while Dr. Spalko watches from a safe spot in a tree. You can also see Indy having a staring contest with the Crystal Skull, and a hungry alligator behind the mini tank: Indy gets ready to blow up a particularly menacing Jungle Cutter, a poor Native lies dead on the ground, and Indy and company flee a pursuing Russian boat. Jungle Cutter, KOTCS tower, Spalko and Russain lackey follow Mutt and Indy into the Temple, another Native is shot down (on the steps of the Temple): Second top shelf: Raiders of the Lost Ark/ Obtaining the Ark. Indy fights the German mechanic while Marion Ravenwood gets ready to knock the pilot unconscious with a... rotten carrot? Note the Oil tanker behind the Flying Wing: Indy chases the cargo truck which contains the Ark, which is tailed by a military jeep: Middle shelf: Jungle temple and Venice. Stapido watches as Indy prepares to steal a very valuable idol. Jock patiently waits for his passenger to return while fishing: Beloc waits outside the temple for his idol to be brought to him, eying the cave behind him carefully. In another scene, years in the future, Indy and Elsa are chased by the Cruciform Sword cult on boats in Venice. A mysterious couple completely ignore the chaos as they are lost in each other... Second Bottom Shelf: The Jones family attempt to fend off a Nazi fighter plane while some sort of kite floats by... Bottom Shelf: Indy and Marion fight Egyptian Ninjas, the Jones are again chased by a Nazi, on motorcycles this time, and Thugee goons ride the rails in a fiery mine: Indy and the gang ride towards the sacrificial throne of Mola Ram, Indy and gang are chased by Chinese gangsters. watch out for that pillar, Short Round!: ...And that's my collection. I look forward to seeing many other Indy layouts.

Round 3 Eskallon VS. 'Dar'vole'e High-0/ Parry-0 Low-0/ High-1 Mid-0/ Low-1 Throw-1/ Mid-0 Low-0/ High-1 Health: 1/ Health: 1 'Dar'vole'e makes an excellent comeback, and ties it up! The duel proceeds to a Sudden Death round! First to 0 HP loses! (Send SD Actions, please). Guys, let's keep this uncluttered. I'm sure the mods would appreciate it if we kept posts saying "Sent" at a minimum. Sudden Death Eskallon VS. 'Dar'vole'e Throw-0/ Parry-0 High-1/ Kick-0 ... 'Dar'vole'e manages to parry a powerful attack by Eskallon, but is defeated with the next action. It was a close match, with an amazing comeback by 'Dar'vole'e, but Eskallon wins the duel! Congrats, Eskallon, and better luck next time, filip. Feel free to update profiles.

Round 2 Eskallon VS. 'Dar'vole'e High-0/ High-0 Low-0/ Parry-0 Mid-0/ Mid-0 Low-0/ High-1 High-1/ Low-0 Health: 4/ Health: 2 Both fighters anticipate each others attacks, and little damage is inflicted to both. However, Eskallon still has 'Dar'vole'e on the ropes! Anything can happen, but what? DS Round 3.
-
No problem, I'm glad to see the first duel in about a week. However, Eskallon, if you're a Jedi, you can't have Lightning. Only Sith can, but Lightsaber throw is the Jedi equivalent of that, so I'll change your "Lightnings" to "Throws" for all rounds. Round 1 Eskallon/ 'Dar'vole'e Mid-0/ Mid-0 High-1/ Kick-0 Throw-1/ Low-0 Low-0/ Parry-0 Mid-1/ High-0 Health: 5/ health: 3 The two young fighters begin their duel, but the Sith Youngling 'Dar'vole'e is bested by an all-offensive strategy by the Initiate Eskallon! Will the Sith be able to pull out in time? Round 2, please.

Congrats, you three! Enjoy your positions! Maybe BigCam won't be so bored anymore.
-
Alright, Round 1 actions, please.

Could, but I don't like decals at all. Especially since my printer is terrible at printing details that small.

Excellent vig, SlyOwl. I like all of the techniques in this- the beard as flying hair, the Davy Jones fig, and the water streams. The brown hand on the wreckage is a little random, but the rest of the vig is great. Jones has that hulking look, which is perfect.

It's been quiet here lately... I'm willing to adjudicate for anyone, or duel if someone wants to fight a Master.

Hello, I am in need of one of these McGonagall torsos. I ordered the dress part from a store I was buying from, but the torso was way too expensive, and I don't want to go through the trouble and cost of making another transaction with a different seller. So, if anyone can help me with this, I am willing to trade Lego, just ask for pieces, and we'll try to work something out. Otherwise, I'm willing to buy one, with either cash (USD) or PayPal (however, PayPal may take longer as I am just setting up). The lowest price on BL goes for about 8 USD. Shipping within North America is preferred, but inter-continental could work. I have a total of one straightshooter point, so if you have more than that, I would be more than happy to send first. If not, I'll have to ask that you send first. Any help with this would be most appreciated.

I've only played this series once or twice, but very cool speeders anyway. I especially like the dual-seated "split" design on the second one. I'm not sure about the use of windows as exhaust vents, though, they're a little too blocky for my taste. Maybe some other frame with those grate pieces would work out better? I also like the first one very much. The color scheme is subtle, with the orange racing stripe wit dark blue (I always liked this combo), and the design is nice and compact.
-
Me too. I always thought it was cool that the Master Sword wasn't the center plot point in any of the games, but more of a sub-plot, especially in OoC. Only time will tell... On another note, it looks like the animation is going to be more or less the same as TP, which is a plus in my book. I liked the celda-shading seen in WW, PH, and ST, but this is by far the best way to go for the LoZ series. Are you joking? Play any recent Mario game, and you'll see exactly what we mean. Talking blocks, talking trees, talking hemoglobin... even Mario and Luigi are starting to talk (although it's just gibberish). Then again, the clouds in SMB did have that creepy smile...

Thanks, Pi and Svelte, for stitching those high-res pics together. The Amazon pages are down, but thanks to you two, I can still enjoy them. The Battle of Amulet looks really great, and it's the only one I haven't seen before. I'm sure this whole line will suck up my money when they're released. I'm not so sour about this replacing Indy now. And I'm almost positive, if those pictures are accurate, that that is not dark orange. As cool as the return of that color would be, I'm pleased with the new one, very subtle for desert scenes, and something that tan and dark tan can't do. I'm not complaining. That's a claw. A three-pronged CLAW. It just screams Wolverine, something that I look forward to making once I get my hands on these.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. Congrats again, Blackmoor and Zuloo.
