Class doesn't have to dictate RP choices. I personally think the poison theme is very cool and effective in battle.

Hybros shook the Luis' hand. "Hybros. There must be a good reason these places are off-limits, though if this place were a true democracy like Piglina likes to say, then you should at least know why. It seems I have much to speak about with Iceborn, perhaps he has some answers. He does seem to be a the center of many things around here. Ehehm,... there must be quite the collection in the Room of Dreams. I can not imagine all the information in all of the minds who have ever lived on this island. What can you tell me about the Memory Keeper? Is there anything that would get him to allow access to the skulls?" The imp shook his head and muttered to Hoke, "This place gets more unusual by the minute, eheh. We are strangers here, but I can not help but to feel that something is off. Eubric is no stranger to secrets, but... hm..." he trailed off, trying to shake the feeling of suspicion.

Hybros nodded and indicated towards Zeus, where Dyric and Arthur were talking between themselves. "I am sure you will be pleased with the shop's selection, heheh." "I was not able to make much sense of the vision either. I had another when we retrieved the Dragon Heart Flame. Perhaps it will be better if we piece together our information in a quiet place." Hybros nodded. "Let us, as soon as we are done here. Perhaps it would be wise to wait for Purpearl, anyways." The imp sidles up next to Hoke and listens in on a conversation in the meantime. He approaches the pair unabashedly. "Ehehm... I could not help but to overhear... You say you are unsatisfied with the council here? Forgive me, I am new to the way things work around here, but I have heard that anyone can be on the council. If you seek change, why not try to join yourselves?"

"Very well. I will see you there later." Hybros replied to Purpearl as he prepared for another trip through the void. "Melquaidas, City Center." He is dropped off as Arthur is explaining the situation to... the other heroes! Hybros smiles. "I see you have made it, it is good to see you all alright, heheh." He shakes Guts' hand and lowers his voice. "So you collected the artifacts then. Good. Although as Arthur explained, our mission is... well, let us just say that the consequences of what we accomplish here are not known. I have learned much about the Old Gods on this journey. I have seen visions too, about witches and gods. These are forces far beyond our understanding. But, Guffington and Daneeka" he nods to the latter. "I trust. If we have an understanding, then our goal is to convince the council of our mission's benefits. Again, I am not sure what those are..."

"I see... well perhaps I will bring this up to Iceborn. I will visit him soon." Hybros tugged on Purpearl's robe. "I am going to return to the city center, to see if there are any new developments. Time moves differently here, who knows how long we really have been gone... Would you like to join me or investigate this merchant's request?"

Welcome to Heroica, Skeleton. As Samuraiturtle pointed out, you do start with some health. Check the Rules topic for all the info, but I'll let you know that mages start 5 health and 5 ether. You can also add a suitable WP:3 weapon, a gem of your choice, 10 gold and a potion.

Thanks for the Grogmas gifts for those who suggested them! The Phoenix Emblem is indeed a very nice item, nearly as good as the Moebius Ring which is valued at 1000 gold. I'll have to figure out how to implement it into my build now that I have the Coat Hanger... And I've been a big fan of the Strategist's Shako all along so it's awesome that Jinnipher gets something similar. Zoot's Reaper might be up there soon.

The problem with that is that animals are of intelligence, or so they say. I am sure I have seen people talk to animals, and they would talk back. If you do not mind me asking, what does the Shadow Merchant have to do with this? And what can you tell be about Iceborn? If he is trained in necromancy, I am not sure what he can consider natural... especially on this island, heheh."

Hybros nodded and let Purpearl speak to the Shadow Merchant. He sized up what looked like a Bugbear. "The Beast? You must know as well as I do that size is a poor indication of strength, to have a name like that... heheh."

Hybros nods to Purpearl and approaches the pair. "Hello. You must be the Shadow Merchant. Are you selling your wares today?"

Hybros nods. "Very well then. Arthur will speak to Amarcolm, and I will join you at the Strange Beach, Purpearl. Though I would like to speak to Captain Iceborn later... perhaps he can shed some light on a few things about the Cold Circle for me, so to speak... heh." He smiled weakly and shot a look at Hoke. "Melquaidas, Strange Beach."

Hybros turned to his allies whilst they were finishing their purchases. "Now, to the reason why we are really here... In order to complete Guffington's goal, we must be in good graces with the council here. The Void Master thought that we would need at least three of the five as our allies before moving forward... if Guts and the others make it here with the other artifacts. I suggest we split up and each talk to a council member. We will probably need to return here later."

OOC: Sorry. The Toxic Hood is in Asphalt's inventory (Headwear, converts poison to blessed effect). I think it's from a KotZ quest, or possibly Lind's. "I see... then how about a Venomari Helmet? I hear those are not too rare, eheh... And I will take one of each of a Scroll of Sloth (slow) and a Scroll of Minimizing, as well as 3 Mushrooms." He handed over 1400 gold and his Gold Bar as payment. Hybros also swapped his Fighting Boots out for his new Crystal Shoes and immediately chowed down on the Mushrooms. "What? I was hungry... eheh."

Hybros raised an eyebrow. "Yes I was there. If you think the fact that he was captured indicates any weakness on his part, then you are mistaken. I have not seen you around the Hall before, you must be new. I do not think you or even Guts can claim to be able to fight off 108 warriors on your own in a single night. Even if you could, how does that indicate your ability to lead a city? Jun lived to tell the tale and has gone on to do great things for his family and others."

Say there's an artifact that has specific suitabilities. If it's suitable to Hunters, for example, should it also be suitable to Rangers and Barbarians? The item description specifically states Hunters.

It was sometime after returning from Etheria, or perhaps before. Time seemed to follow no rules there. Hybros pushed open the doors to the Chateau Shadeaux, thus joining the Crescent Union. It was an obvious choice to join with the Ji Pei after all they had done for him. And he was already a member of the Guild of Invision. The one time he encountered the Shadeaux, he had sided with the Hinckwells and fought Umbra. But that was a long time ago. If they were in it with the others, then Hybros would just have to find a way to make amends. He looked around the room, watching the debates and general chatter. A few of his friends, Atramor, Dyric, Thormanil... were already gathered and had cast their votes. He looked to two of his greatest allies, Jun and Guts. They were both in the running for king, and the votes were close. A decision either way would feel like a betrayal to the other. But after much thought and consideration, he decided. Hybros casts his votes (5) for Jun Ji Pei. "Jun... When I first asked for your help to find my people, I made a promise. I said that if they were found, the imps would help the Aoi the Ji Pei family in any way they could. You helped me trainto prepare for that journey, and it was made possible by your family and the Tritech, as well as a few others... But this is not just a token of gratitude. I know you can lead and I know you wish to do what is best for Eubric. I, and the rest of my people, are with you."
