  1. OOC: To be honest I didn't look at the first round while it was edited. Technically the rules would allow Pretzels BO but I don't think it would make sense to change it again. I'm fine with not getting the XP. Offers a chance for some role play, anyway.
  2. Jinnipher accepted Gabriel's hand, but was red in the face with fury. She moved her hair from her face and stormed over to Pretzel. "You idiot! You left me out to dry!" She shoved him in the chest. "Your stupid plan almost got me killed. I demand repercussions. Clearly this old man is not fit to be party leader." She looked at Gabriel. "You know that I will not make the same mistake."
  3. Jinnipher also threw her bomb from the back row. OOC: Should we have taken free hits?
  4. Oh, Jeb's done it again!
  5. "You don't scare me." Jinnipher accepted the bomb in the back row.
  6. Hybros smiled. "Heheh, I can relax now and then. I kill because I need to. Perhaps for not much longer. I am old for an imp... well, one that has not been living in the Void... eheh."
  7. Jinnipher equips the shield absentmindedly, but her focus was still on the guards. "This is stupid." She attempts to stride past them.
  8. Hybros shook his head to Felix but smiled. He closed his eyes and began to relax, imagining the hot water around him to be some sort of ethereal presence that allowed him to float weightlessly. He breathed in the steam and allowed it to fill his nostrils.
  9. Jinnipher winks, but ones they encounter the knights her expression turns sour. "Move," she said to the knights.
  10. "Just Jinnipher, hon."
  11. OOC: It's taking a bit long, but I'm having fun solving this puzzle! Hybros unfolds his legs and slowly rises. Rather than frustration, oddly he feels relaxed and at peace and confident that he was close to the First Breath. He heads to the Hot Springs to clear his head even more.
  12. "Your logic is impeccable." Jinnipher stood tall on the ridge.
  13. "Oh can't I?" Jinnipher muttered as she clambered up the last ridge, she swung her boot back to hit Lind in the face. "Oops, silly me. I should have been more careful of your big, empty head."
  14. Jinnipher giggled, covering her mouth with her fingertips. She looked to the top of the ridge, then shrugged. She followed Lind's plan, making sure to step on his head each time he boosted her up.
  15. Hybros shakes his head at Elba, indicating towards the Vault. Heading there silently, he sits cross-legged and closes his eyes. Inhaling deeply, he tries to clear his mind like Lee Long taught him. He thinks briefly on all things one by one, including the mission they were on, the First Breath, Dastan and the dragons and people, his partymates, Guffington and company, his friends back in the Hall or across the world, his people, Heroica, various events of his past... And lets each of them go. He meditates silently,
  16. Hybros shook his head. "We can only continue to try to look for what we seek. I think tomorrow I will meditate at the Vault, perhaps you would like to join, Purpearl?"
  17. Jinnipher hikes along with the group, mostly opting to stay silent among the usual chatter and casting an occasional glance at Gabriel. She was extra careful to do it only when he wasn't looking, of course. "It sounds like you have a lot of experience with demons, Monk. Though I don't think I'll need your help with an exorcism if this one-" she jabbed her thumb towards Calamity. "Manages to summon something bigger than an imp." Yet, if the girl had any reservations about Karie or Lind, she couldn't be all bad. Still, the Moon Elf silently reserved her judgement. She eyed Garson for a moment, then shrugged. "A Kelvos, huh? I've seen stranger things. It's a wonder how anything you touch doesn't just ignite. Talk about an incendiary personality." Jinnipher stood next to the Sandman in the shade and crossed her arms. "Don't you still drink enough to keep you slaving away at that piano? Really Gabriel, fighting bad guys suits you better."
  18. Jinnipher nodded. "Let's go." OOC: I forgot to mention that I'll be away for the weekend. I'll be back to full participation sunday evening.
  19. Hybros follows behind Arthur, again at a loss of anything better to do. He dips his toes in the hot springs before submerging up to his neck. He was half-relieved, half-worried that his frustration was shared by Gerald. He speaks to no one in particular. "Perhaps if we knew more about the First Breath, it would be easier to know what we must to find it." "So what do we know? I think we can say that it is not something that we can hold, but something that is realized. Or maybe it is both. Master Jin has told us that there are many ways to reach inner peace in both our minds and our bodies. I think that is important for finding the First Breath. And Master Kiga... does not have much to say. But I know more than most that what is not said is shown, heheh. I think... tomorrow I will try to meditate. Hoke, I assume you are making progress at the training grounds? Both of these may be useful somehow."
  20. Jinnipher strides up to the group, fashionably late as usual. She looks Gabriel in the eye with a grin tugging the corner of her mouth. "So which ancient dictator are we overthrowing today?"
  21. Jinnipher pointedly ignores the comments about Gabriel and her and settled for yet another mead. By now she was past tipsy and felt content to quietly rub her temple in a chair by the fire.
  22. Hybros shrugged and followed Arthur. "I can not think of anything else better to do." "...Although it does not appear that there is much here." He frowned. "I do not mean to sound spoiled, but I am not sure how I feel about this place. I did go on this quest to help Guffington and not to sight-see, but I pictured us doing in Xu what we did in Dastan... Lee and Jun taught me much patience besides what I learned on my own, but I am left impatient here. I wish I had their guidance right now."
  23. Hybros stared into his tea some more. "Like you said, as long as Guffington trusts him, Chauncey is no concern of mine. I am also confident he can take care of himself, heheh. I did fight him once, and he is no pushover." He glanced over to the werelion sitting quietly in the room. "I do not suppose you have anything to add to this conversation about the world as a game and us as its pieces, do you Master Kiga?"
  24. Jinnipher rubbed her temple and sighed. "That's not my point. Whatever. So long as I don't have to clean up any of your messes, do what you want." "No." With that, Jinnipher signs up for Quest #143.
  25. Not yet. I was waiting for Karie to reply so it would make sense. I'll post it now, but consider her signed up.
