Got to the local Lego store the other day and snagged a few new Avengers sets. Love the fact that we are finally getting more than Spidey from Marvel. Iron Man is my favorite and so I was ecstatic that he was being produced in MF form. Then I saw pics. Ugh. A small part of me kept hope alive that the in-hand version would be better... Nope. Just a colossal helmet away from perfection, IMO Marvel...oh well. Appreciate the effort.

Hmmm....thought the double VIP was only good until tom (15th)... Cannot wait either way for the Avengers stuff!

Oh wow - that is a sweet looking custom job! Yeah, not a fan of the helmet look thus far. Maybe it will grow on me, or be better up close, or maybe they are still tweaking it... If nothing else, I think we should be glad we're finally getting these Marvel (other thn Spidey) and DC (other than Bats) characters!

Just saw all the Superheroes (Batman + Friends...) at a local Target yesterday. Haven't seen any at Wal-Marts though... And TRU's are hit or miss - some have them some don't.

I was at a local TRU today and began chatting w/ a Lego Merchandise Rep about the Superheroes stuff coming out. He indicated to me that some of the DC sets (not Marvel at all...) could be out within a few weeks! He seemed pretty sure of himself and I'll be pleasantly surprised if they show before the holidays, but I'm also waiting until I see it to believe it... Cross your fingers!

Stopped at a TRU in NJ yesterday and found the following: TRU Exclusive Tractor Trailer @ $24.99 compared to $49.99. Also, they had new 2012 City, Ninjago (Snakes!), and Dino sets out and about...
