  1. Agreed - it looks a bit cartoonish to me. Def buy, but prob just for cobbling parts.
  2. So many choices...and the list could go for quite a long time, but here are a few of my top wants for Marvel characters. Moon Knight, Dr Doom, Classic X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast, Iceman), Winter Soldier, Baron Zemo, Baron Strucker, Atlas, Songbird, MACH IV, Techno, Beetle, Leader, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Lizard, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture, Dr Strange, Luke Cage and Power Fist. Not sure all that DC has proposed, so I'll leave them off for now, however Mad Hatter, Killer Moth, Clayface and Aquaman come to mind right off the bat.
  3. YES!!!!! So happy to learn this. Thanks for the update.
  4. I look at it this way... If Disney stores are willing to stock and sell some Marvel characters whose toys are more of collector's niche, then I figure they'd go bonkers for the chance to sell a worldwide brand such as Lego.
  5. Its not Lego, but I heard that some Disney stores will be selling some Marvel Minimates - I forget which characters, but it could be a good omen. I don't think Minimates has the fan base of Lego, but I see it as a good sign.
  6. Nice catch with not only the 50% off, but the display as well!!
  7. Whoa. I've seen that pic elsewhere, but figured it was a fanboy's photoshop job.
  8. Keep your eyes peeled at the Con!! And those designs for Thor, IM, Cap, and the Hulk are pretty cool, but I'd bet on a normal MF-sized Hulk, if I knew they def making him. And I wouldn't put it past Lego to put some sort of teaser up before the end of the year if they are doing anything w/ the characters be it shadow designs or a logo of some sorts. All we can do is hope the fine licensees see our pleas and wishes.
  9. Hmmmm - I had forgotten about the new Spidey film in the works. The plot thickens.
  10. Really excited that this could be a possibility. I was bummed when Mega got Iron Man and now they have Cap as well, but one never knows. Could be that Lego does something w/ Marvel like it did with PotC and produce sets after the fact (of Mega doing them...),so who knows... Any chance DC has of seeing more Lego sets lies in (my opinion) a blockbuster movie based on a "A-Lister" - ie Wonder Woman or another Superman reboot. Would it be cool if GL got some sets? Yeah - but I think we'd have heard something by now...
  11. Love this set! Thanks for doing the review, BTW.
  12. Got a $195.00 Lego credit merc card for $145. off some guy on craigslist.
  13. Very kind of you - are you sure?! I would love anything nowadays. I am serving in Iraq. LMK and I send along my address.

  15. 2 pts for - 25) Pilot Entry (Build by mookage) Very cool perspective!! 1 pt for - 40) Baseball Player Entry (Build by Todd_Holaday) And I'm not even a great fan... Good Luck all!
  16. I have seen the future and those question marks mean nothing but trouble for us all!! I still can't get the image outta my head of what they did to those poor, poor minifigs... Why?!?!?!? Eh - I got nothing...
  17. Very cool! Love the use of the vines. I can't wait to get my stuff back (out of storage...)
  18. Simply brilliant! Perfect building - just in time for the Weasley twins to take over.
  19. Thanks for the thorough review! I don't think you took enough pics though!! ;) I had just ordered this set a few days ago, based on looks alone. Can't wait for it!
  20. PoP sets are starting to show up in the clearance isles at a few local Wal-Marts. Start checking yours. I can't remember any prices though...
  21. Very, very cool MOC!!
  22. Very cool looking! Be even better if it was definitely real...
  23. What?!?! Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff stands...
  24. Those types of shops that might sell used (or even New) Lego in and around the cities mentioned are most likely gonna be consignment stores. Those places are luck-of-the-day types. It might be there one day, then gone the next... I wouldn't even begin to guess how to locate and visit all those possible places. I'd say that your best bet might be to simply stop into each and every "consignment" store you see. The only other type of place I thought of is Salvation Army stores. Kind of a chain, but not sure where they'd be located offhand. They sell used stuff, but again, its all random... BTW - Enjoy the States!
  25. Thanks for the nice review! Nice to hear that about the dagger and a continuous light-up feature...
