Do we have a street date for these guys yet?! Both waves look excellent with lots of great new ideas/ sculpts/ pieces.

I was wondering the same thing myself after seeing those excellent pics of the up-and-coming new Kingdoms sets yesterday... I was in my local Lego Shop last week and remember seeing a good stock of them (4 or 5). Who knows how long they'll last though?

What about it? From what I saw, Hero Factory is just Bionicle. It's not licensed characters. Unless I missed something and I'm wrong...

As far as an Iron Man line, I really don't see why not. The end of the first movie indicated Stark was gonna get away from weapons manufacturing... Giant set w/ an ARC Reactor? Plus, lots of folks were surprised when the Batman and Indy sets came with the realistic new pistols and Tommy guns, and yet those sets have sold out and continue to sell very well. If TLC ever nailed the sets to coincide w/ the movie (unfortunately, very, very, very doubtful at this point... ) and the sets were done well, then they could easily sell strongly.

Cut the chain!! And while you're at it, rip the tag off that mattress, jay-walk, and loiter around the shop front!! Seriously, my only suggestion would be to grab a new "witches" hat for him at some point just so there isn't a tiny bit of metal sticking out of the MF's head...

I vividly remember watching the movie "Tucker - A Man and his Dream" with my father. Great story of a self-made man. Nice job on the Lego representation!

Well - here's a bit of news on a new Spidey... http://marvel.com/news/moviestories.11000...._for_spider-man I'm really hoping for a new and different villain for the flick. Much as Batman Begins used Scarecrow and Ra's, it would be fun to see Chameleon or the much anticipated (from the Raimi trio of films) Lizard. Maybe utilizing Doc Connors as the Lizard in an "opposites look" at the combination of human/ non-human science. The good that can come versus the bad effects if you will. That out of the way, is anyone else trying to cobble together a Spider-Buggy from the instructions of Toy Story's RC?!

Star Wars came out only a year or 2 at the most before HP and its still continued due to the sheer number of fans, characters, vehicles, etc (not to mention the new Clone Wars stuff...). I think TLC simply erred when it was trying to "protect we customers sensibilities when it comes to darkness and violence" (Wasn't that the reason, or something close to it, stated for dropping the sets after OooP? If I'm wrong, then please enlighten me...). Spidey 3 was both good and bad, IMO. If they (Sony) had simply gotten a decent storyline out of the Sandman trying to save his daughter, (like Doc Ock and his brush w/ madness in the 2nd movie) instead of shoehorning the Venom character into it (and don't even get me started on the dancing... ), then Spidey 3 would have been much, much better... I hope they do revamp the license. There could still be soooo much coolness in new Spidey Lego sets based on a movie.

I don't know all the ins-and-outs of licensing, but if Marvel was smart, they'd tie-in and new Spidey movie to the current Iron Man, Hulk, (coming) IM2, Thor, Cap, and Avengers movies. Now, as far as Spidey Lego coming back, its def possible. Probable? Maybe not yet... But between Marvel, Lego and Disney - I really think the possibilities are endless and potentially very successful. I hope, the powers-that-be will at least explore the idea of new sets whether or not they are based on movies, or comic books, or even the newspaper strip!!

I've already got my eye on Buzz's ship for a modified quinjet. And those "A" stickers from the Agents' line? Perfect for the Avengers' logo.

I'd love to have more HP goodness... I also like the idea of more Houses being represented and at the very least, giving us a set from films 5,6,7!!

So glad there was a "both" choice as I'm a fan of pretty much all comics characters. Love to get a Supes and the rest of the JLA, some Green Lantern Corps members with those fancy new "alien" heads floating around, and maybe even Swamp Thing and Resurrection Man! If it was a Marvel or DC option, I would have chosen Marvel in a second. I've already professed my love of Iron Man elsewhere, but DC heroes and villains would be cool as well. Who knows? With Marvel putting out some decent movies maybe the options for MF's in spandex and capes will increase... Whoa - didn't realize how old this thread was...

Great stuff! The zombie and luchadore(SP?) are my favs thus far. The magician looks cool and I can see folks getting really into the new forestman.

Wow - I'm a big Iron man fan and I want that fig badly!!!!!!!!!!! The Hulk was too dark for me to see properly, but I like the description. Thanks for sharing.
