[MOC] Ford GT + Instructions
htbomb replied to Fanylover's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I love cars and I love toy cars but I've pretty much decided that LEGO cars are a fine thought but ultimately compromised. However, your GT40 is simply stunning and perfectly captures the car right down to the racing stripes. Thanks for sharing. -
21306: The Beatles Yellow Submarine (LEGO Ideas)

Hate to see this thread end on a negative note. I'm still building my yellow submarine (steady as she goes captain) and enjoying it very much. It's a colorful entertaining build. -
Gorgeous build. Thanks for sharing. Stickers really drive it home.

Great build and consistent with the Speed Champions aesthetic. I couldn't place the kidney grille part until you answered another's question - and I have the recent Hot Rod polybag build sitting right in front of me on my desk with that part. I am curious why you chose the i8 concept instead of the production version?

Beautiful nano build. Thanks for sharing. Target has toy promo starting today for $10 off $50 toy purchase and the Yellow Submarine is surprisingly available - LEGO is usually excluded. Just ordered mine for $49.99 with free shipping (with love, from me to me!). -
Beautiful design and build. Thanks for sharing. I like the flowing layered "wings" from fenders to the roof to the back. Nice engine bay, too.
-
Gorgeous. Less is indeed more. I like both but prefer the Ferrari.
-
I also like the shorter version better.
-
Compact and simple. Looks great! Thanks for sharing.

Great video. Love the hamster. Seriously considering buying the F40. I'm a car guy but generally not a fan of cars built from LEGO. However, this set nicely captures the look and feel of the Ferrari.

Cool subject. Great build. Love the mini-sub.

FREE Mini Figures set with $50 purchase of select LEGO Receive a free LEGO Mini Figures Gift Set with a qualifying minimum purchase of $50 or more select LEGO City, Chima, Ninjago, or Super Heroes items. The set can be purchased for $15 or a free gift with $50 purchase. Nice! I'm guessing the other sides contain one figure each from City and Super Heroes.

The fine print at the bottom of the Sunday ad: "Event intended for children, ages 5-up." I wonder how many "big" kids will show up.

Cool concept. The cross-marketing potential is endless.

Stunning. Amazing build and the front end is spot on. -
Love the Joker. Batman looks a bit like he's riding in a go kart but I'd like to convert my Tumbler, too.
-
Fantastic assortment. Very creative. Thanks for sharing.

The Tumbler is my least favorite of the TV/Movie Batmobiles but it translates well to LEGO. So I'll vote The Tumbler from 7888.

I really enjoyed your review of this wonderful set. Love the color pallette LEGO chose for the line. Some beautiful details and lots of play possibilities.

Odd that the set doesn't include parts that even come close to building what's seen in the photo on the box. I like the space planning color diagram that results in a color LEGO three dimensional diagram/building. Odd that the set doesn't come with any color parts to let me explore this step in the design process. Odd that the such a good-looking box can't be cleanly opened and re-closed. As an architect I'm a bit of a perfectionist and will want to be able to store the set in its box. I like the overall concept for this set and gave it a 4/5. I hope it sells well so we will see more sets like it.
