Thanks for the review. I'm really looking forward to getting this set. I need to beef up my my droid army to battle all the clones that have been getting released lately.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

One more note, from what I've seen the pricing on these sets are reasonable. No single set seemed overpriced to me. -
LEGO LotR - general discussion
Sir_Basil_Ashton replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I remain optimistic that there will be new sets in 2015. Hopefully all the speculation on the change in the release of the Hobbit movies and LEGO sets is what through the LotR sets off. I'll be shocked if we've seen the end of LEGO LotR. -
LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

All the sets are looking pretty awesome, here are my thoughts thus far: B-Wing: Looks great, follows the trend of improved Rebel fighters. The minifigs look awesome. Looking forward to adding to my different pilots. Snow Speeder: I’m really digging the color scheme. Again, more Rebels with leg printing that improves the look of the minifigs. The Phantom: Still undecided on this, I’ll have to see how it looks like on the Rebels show with The Ghost. Initially it looks way too big. That astromech droid looks off, way too small and wide. Jedi Scout Fighter: Easily my favorite vehicle of this wave. I really love the aggressive look of this ship. The Ithorian Jedi is amazing. The Ghost: I really like the way the ship looks in LEGO form. It’s obviously undersized but the shape is true to the images we’ve seen of this ship. The Stormtrooper minifig looks a lot better than it did on the box. It’ll take some getting used to but I can accept it for now. I like the new minifigs. AT-AT: I’m just not liking the way this turned out. There’s something about the overall shape that looks off to me. I feel like the body should be a lot longer than it is and the legs look too skinny as well. Is it me or this at a light blue color on the AT-AT driver minifig? Imperial Star Destroyer: Looks a lot better than it did in earlier photos. The underside is looks better. Maybe it’s just me but I liked the smooth look of 6211. I would like to see the two sets next to each other for a comparison shot. Advent Calendar: Never been a big fan of advent calendars. I think Santa Vader would look better if the torso and arm colors matched the color of the cape. Mos Eisley Cantina: I’m absolutely loving the Dewback and Sandtrooper. That’s absolutely what’s going to lead me to buy this set. The colors on the Sand Speeder look good but the stickers on this set look out of place due to the amount of details. All the minifigs look well done. Unsure about Greedo, need to see some better photos from the front. -

The pricing has been good and looks like it's going to continue to be good this year. I'm really hoping to see more details on the ISD, specifically the bottom. -

I hope you're right. The box for the new ISD had the same Stormtrooper pictured on it. -

Thanks for sharing the high-res pics. The Rebels sets are looking solid. I hope we eventually get a Rebels heavy wave with ships and a Stormtrooper army building opportunity. -
I would go with whichever company had the Star Wars license.

I'm pretty sure Oriental Expedition sets were available in the US. I got a couple sets in a large lot I bought in Connecticut 4 years ago.

For me I wouldn't have minded the amount of CGI used in the PT if it wasn't so poorly done. A lot of CGI still looks good if done right.

I personally would like at least 1-2 TC-4s. Hint hint, if someone in the UK would like to help out, I have previous year figures I can trade. If TC-4 is showing up now, I wonder what will be available as the incentive for May the 4th this year. I know this would never happen but wouldn't it be cool if there were 2-4 different minifigs (say Cantina aliens,or something similar to SDCC giving us Batman and Green Lantern) and you randomly got one of these minifigs with your qualifying purchase? -
I'd prefer TC-4 to be available at TRU over being the May the 4th promo this year.

I think a cool looking Cantina alien would easily out perform the Hoth Han from last year. -
I'm not too familiar with the parameters but when a Cuusoo set is released, isn't there a set/specific number of sets that are released? Go easy on me, I'm just asking.

I have nothing against the exclusive protocol droids we've gotten such as TC-14 or TC-4 but I really wish LEGO would give us a different exclusive minifig. -

THe 2014 sets showed up on the TRU website a week or so ago. The sets weren't available for purchase online but were listed as being available in store. -
The thing I like about seeing "Sold Out" is that it cues me to buy a set if I see it in the wild at retail stores.
-
I feel that it's inevitable that LEGO creates a Galactic Marine minifig. Put it in an UT-AT set and LEGO can have my money now.

Thanks for the review and the humor you used. I'm very fond of the Jedi Interceptor and will pick this up when the price is right.

I just noticed that this set is Sold Out on the US S@H. Does anyone think this will become available again or is that it for this set? Disregard, it's on back order now.

Kick A$$ 2. I was expecting more but oh well. -
Those new blasters shoot pretty far. I aimed it at my son and fired and almost got his eye. His comment was, that the new blasters were "neat, too bad they don't look like a real Star Wars blaster".

Zzz, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Can you confirm that the we're getting a new Snowtrooper and how it is different? Thanks.
