just read on Belug that the green truck may be available only for a fairly limited time, very much like the yellow dump truck a while back, and the set may have a "promo price", meaning a very reasonable price. I'd say the info is reliable, even though it only applies to the Benelux, it will probably be for the rest of Europe as well, so make this your priority purchase if you want it.

no not really. any marketeer will tell you to avoid the "neutral zone", the area where a respondent doesn't make a clear choice, wich is usually 5/10 or "i don't know". with this poll i'm actually asking to make a choice. sure, it'll lead to more extreme results, but usually you get a better idea of how people really feel towards the subject you're investigating, in this case, the space sets...

based on the pics we've seen, I'd say it still looks rather primitive, not as sophisticated as the older subthemes, but it's most definitely a step in the right direction...

what city still lacks, is diversity. there's hardly a normal citizen in Lego City, there's also no female. Both give lego city a fairly "unnatural" feeling: it's a city with only men working in a police station, on a construction site or an airport. Kinda sterile, if you're asking me... It seems to me that lego is still too much in the marketeer's pockets, still too much focused on market and consumer principles instead of listening to common sense.

well it didn't have to be "a classic space reborn", but I was at least hoping for the same quality as the city/sw sets. I think this is basically an Exo Force expansion pack, nothing more. This line is closer to Exo Force, than anything space of the past. I've never seen such a strong emphasis on "playing" instead of "building" in a space line. really sad... I also don't understand that any ambassador, who is supposed to express the opinions of the AFOLS to lego, thinks that this is a great line. I can't imagine that a large section of the afol community likes these sets. you're not going "to win the hearts and minds" of the community's space fanbase with this line. As a consequence, I do not regard these sets as "spacesets". At best, I 'm hoping for some nice parts here and there, but it seems to me that City and Star wars are top priority for Lego, all the others just have to accept second row. In this case, Space was the very last in line...

the green truck seems like the best set to me. unfortunately, it probably has two fairly large one piece molds, making it kinda ... too simple? the green color is nice nice though... the train station looks nice, but not really special...

i'm confused... *wacko* the originel post said 6 new sets, now 3 of those are more or less confirmed by another source. What makes you think that the other 3 aren't real as well? we just don't have another source backing them up, but who knows... oh well... i'm only interested in sw sets i can put on display, so perhaps i'll buy the MTT
