well considering we usually only have one guy who gives titles ( *yoda* ), and he doesn't give them on a daily basis, and pushing any refresh button most likely will not convince *yoda* to get you a title :'-( worse, the louder you scream about wanting a title, the worser the title gets :-X -

nope that's a rank. a title appears when you don't expect it ;-) -
well arctic was released when lego wasn't popular at all, at least the small, unique themes, like this one but also the rockraiders theme didn't do all that well. The result is i guess low prices, especially if they come without book and box

nice! it reminds me of the "sail ships" you so often find in sci fi stories nowadays *sweet*

well... it closes tonight at 12. i was checking EB but couldn't find your Moc. if you posted it during the timeframe of the contest which is about 3 weeks, i'll allow it, otherwise you'll have to wait untill the next contest I'm afraid

lol yep :-P but at least we're honest about it :-P

here's my entry; it's called "the viper" it's my second option for the entry, honestly, because my first didn't really make it. maybe i'll post pics of that one later... "the Viper" is a poor man's fighter. it's a one seat policing vehicle that poor countries, communities and planets use to police their atmosphere. at best, it's a solar hopper, it handles travels between objects in space of a solar system pretty well, but anything beyond is just not doable. the engine uses a stealth technology to protect the small fighter against all sorts of detection, which makes it pretty much invisible in the blackness of space. the fighter has two laser guns. they're not supposed to take on a space cruiser, but they'll do well against any average space ship; the landing procedure is quite simple but unique compared to any other space type. as such, it doesn't have a landing gear, it's depending on a foot that remains at his point of departure and there's another one at the intended point of arrival. Sure, it can land on ground, more like a glider than a fighter plane. that makes the viper more like a peace keeping fighter than a warship. it's a guard, to protect law and order, not a heavy gunner... the cockpit section is kinda narrow, and is created by 4 of these. plate hinges lift the nose to allow the pilot to get in or out...

well i guess it depends on how bad people want them; i still don't get Lego's idea behind the limited release of these figs, why not just create a special edition set, like a limited number of the old xwing, but oh well; thank god io'm not a sw collector

call lego direct, ask for a replacement part

there's this political show on tv right now and i'm so bored because of it, that i decided to have some fun with identifying the sets at this table... just to have something to do whilst hearing these morons on tv... :-| don't think i have them all yet...

there used to be this radio station that only played one song: "stairway to heaven". *sweet* but for some reason, they thought they had to change a bit because the surprise effect was gone, they kinda felt they'd become predictable :-| X-D , so they decided to add a second song, i think it was the Floyd's "Comfortably numb" *sweet* :-$ hm... i would have loved that on the internet... Airguitaring every second of the day... :-$ hmm... feels a lot swooshing in the nude, really... :-$ :-P

250... must be a record for a minifig
-
haven't you been following the French Open?! :-| X-D it's been raining all week in Paris! All photo taking suspended! :-| X-D no really!
-
just wondering how they look minifig sized, though...
-
i think the chrystal is just supposed to be the power source
-
yeah that's what i noticed too. the price would have gone up significantly if the bag was still closed... in any case, 102 dollars for an opened bag with a golden c3p0 is most definitely not much...

well it looks to me that the guy had three copies of a 9 dollar minifig; you bought one. i don't know if you could actually bid any higher. if you have two people who are interested in one fig each, i think he would have had to sell one to both for 9 dollars. his price is after all 9 dollars for one, that's what he says, unless some one would have taken the package deal. -
well i think there's a hole in their chest but what i remember from yoda's photos, it doesn't fit in there...
-
yeah it's been announced, i think together will all the first 2007 sw sets early this year. It's supposed to be the new creator house, but i haven't seen it in the shops just yet. probably a set for the coming months
-
thanks sam *sweet* that 6 wheeler looks cool... *sweet*
-
yeah... 920 isn't the largest station ever and most definetely not the most sophisticated, but highly popular and expensive these days. a boxed set easily reaches 80-100 euro...

maybe you should also contact the producers of plastic model kits and see if you can get a link with the internet community of model kit fans. they very often work with customised parts, perhaps they've got some cheap procedure as well...

the isolation lock-up is kind of a weird design though. first, this set was a US only set for whatever reason, but i think it misses the grandure of the stations of the past, and IMO, was quite a setback compared to the blacktron 1 station, it's predecessor...

what do you guys mean "past, present future"? i only see that space dude X-D btw, that logo isn't right, it should be the other way around :-|
